"Halloween" - At the beginning of the film in 1963 when Michael Myers murders his sister Judith Myers, he is six years old. He escapes fifteen years later in 1978 for the remainder of the film, meaning he is 21 years old. This means that Michael Myers was born in 1957. NOTE: Michael Myers is incorrectly credited as being 23 years old in the closing credits

"Halloween II" - Because "Halloween II" picks up directly after the original film and is set in 1978, Michael Myers is once again 21.

"Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers" - This entry takes place ten years after the events of the first and second film, meaning Michael Myers is now 31.

"Halloween 5" - Since it takes place a year after the events of "Halloween 4" in 1989, Michael Myers is 32.

"Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers" - This entry takes place six years after the events of "Halloween 5", now in 1995, where Michael Myers is 37.

"Halloween H20: 20 Years Later" - As "Halloween H20" takes place 20 years after the events of the original film and "Halloween II", which both took place in 1978, Michael Myers is now 41 year old in 1998. NOTE: This film excludes the events of "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" through "The Curse of Michael Myers"

"Halloween: Resurrection" - Taking place three years after "Halloween H20", this sequel takes place in 2001 with Michael Myers being 44 year old.

"Halloween" - This 2007 reboot starts a new continuity of the series, however there are no timestamps on the film, and Rob Zombie has never stated when the film took place. People choose to believe the scenes with Michael and Laurie take place in 1978, however issues such as Michael wearing a KISS t-shirt when he was younger contradict this, as do the use of flat screen TVs and modern phones in Zombie's H2. It is up to the viewer to decide when these films take place.

The theatrical film, as it stands, does not assign a clear fate for Jimmy. Seeing as he suffered a serious head trauma when he slipped and fell, it's possible that he either dies in the car when he collapses, or simply lapses into unconsciousness. Making it even more vague is Graham's comment at the conclusion that the body count is "Ten...so far." This would leave it open-ended as to whether or not Jimmy is counted among the dead.

In an alternate cut of the film sometimes shown on television, Jimmy definitely survives, as he is shown alive in the ambulance with Laurie at the conclusion. In that alternate version, Graham's line is changed so that he does not give a clear body count.

Jimmy's last name is never given in this film, so we never know what his full name is. However, fans attempting to connect this film to the next related sequel, "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers", have retrofitted Jimmy with the last name Lloyd, suggesting that he is Jamie Lloyd's father.
