The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A woman asks a man if he is "weird." He replies (sarcastically) with a yes. The same man and woman are shown in bed (implying they've just had sex). The woman is naked, but the covers are pulled up to her neck.

No nudity are suggestive dialogue except what has already been said.

Violence & Gore

Six deaths occur in the film. The deaths are usually caused by swords being stabbed into the people. A hook is used to attack a woman.

This movie shows some knife/sword to skin contact, but no graphic blood or gore.

SPOILERS!!:

Three men are killed on a boat. One is stabbed from behind with a sword then again from the front. Another man is immediately stabbed from both sides with a hook. No blood is shown for any of this, the worst is the stabbing sounds and and the mens' brief cries of pain. A ghost sneeks up behind the third man, grabs him by the mouth, lifts him up and gouges his eyes with a metal stick. (This scene is VERY quick and we only see the movement of the stick and hear the gouging sounds. The body is later seen with hollow eye sockets, but no blood.)

Another man is stabbed in the neck with a hook - there is no blood, and no visible puncture, just contact between skin and hook. This shot is half a second long, and the man is shown pulled away into the fog.

An elder woman is grabbed from behind and pulled into the fog, out of sight. There are short tearing sounds, implying that she is killed by blades.

A woman is stabbed in the shoulder by a hook, no visible puncture and no blood. (we see the hook come down touch the side of her out of view) She pulls the hook from her shoulder and swings it at her attackers.

A brief shot of a man turning around and being beheaded by a ghost - we see the ghost swing his sword and the picture blacks out before contact, with a loud slicing sound.

Profanity

1 "s" word and other mild language.

Some smoking is shown.

When the people are attacked, it is very intense and can be frightening to viewers to see people killed.

Some moments of tension and suspesne (but that is the point of the movie)

WARNING: SPOILERS!!:

Ghosts break windows, reaching in for people - one grabs a woman by the hair and attempts to pull her out.

A body, presummed dead, gets up from a table and comes at a girl with a blade. (no violent contact, but this scene is considered very scary for young viewers.)

A little boy is alone in a house filled with fog, there is harsh knocking on his bedroom door as he calls for his babysitter. A hook is used to break through the bedroom door, and a ghost gets through.

There is a brief shot of half a ghost's face that is slimy, decayed, slightly deformed and maggots are shown in the skin.

The ghosts are later shown with glowing red eyes.
