Near the movie's beginning, a maid goes upstairs at Terry's house, passing Terry on her way down to meet her parents for breakfast. When Terry arrives, the maid is serving her parents at the dining table.
When Terry falls during the conga line scene, her wheel comes off. When she holds it up, the bearings are missing. When she goes upstairs to Jammer's supply room to get a lock nut, the wheel is on her skates. When they overhear a conversation and run down the stairs without the lock nut they went for, the wheel is still intact on her skates.
Bobby keeps speaking about going to the Olympics. However, roller skating is never an Olympic sport.
When Terry plays the flute in the classical ensemble, she adjusts her skirt with one of her hands during the final chord. The flute part ends on a concert D, and the flute fingering for that note requires both hands.
The first time Bobby offers to show Terry some fancy skate moves at the beach boardwalk, he says "Come on, I'll show you. It's easy." He smiles wide at Terry the whole time, and his mouth never moves.
