When the Driver first takes off in the red truck, he's clearly working a floor-mounted gearshift (almost falling into the dashboard during one shift). Later, during the chase sequence, the close-up cuts to him working a column shifter, then back to a floor shifter in wider shots.
In addition, when the driver is chasing the silver car, there's a close-up shot of him shifting the column shifter, but he shifted it into the Park position.

In a couple of shots in the first car chase the lid is missing from the trunk of the Driver's car. However, it isn't until a couple of minutes later that we see the police actually blow the lid off with a shotgun blast.
When the lead detective (Dern) shoots the exchange man in the train restroom, the stunt man who falls through the window is wearing a blue suit. But the exchange man was wearing a brown suit both before and after he falls through the window.
During the chase sequences, several background cars are seen over and over again; in particular, a blue mid-'70s Chevrolet Chevelle pops up multiple times throughout the two major chases. In the first chase, the Driver passes a white Ford pickup truck at an intersection, then a few seconds later almost sideswipes the same truck at the same intersection. Also, in the first part of the final chase, the same near-collision in mid-intersection with a station wagon is seen twice - once from the viewpoint of the driver of the front car, and later again from the viewpoint of the back car, supposedly in a different place.
During the first chase, the driver swings to the right, bumping the police car running next to him solidly broadside (judging by the sound effect), causing it so slide out and crash into a pile of sacks of cement. But in the next shots, we can see the police car's left side and the driver's car's right side clearly, and neither car shows any sign that they made contact.
(at around 1h 16 mins) The piles of trash that both cars crash through would not be allowed blocking a working commercial railroad siding, which it is, judging by the condition of the rails and the merchandise stacked on the loading docks alongside it.
The first time we see the driver use a gun, the sound effect is three rapid shots; however, it would be difficult if not impossible to fire a heavy revolver that quickly by double action. Even if you could, it would be impossible to shoot accurately that way.
During the scenes where the Mercedes is being crashed around in the parking garage, after the rear end is crunched you can see the lid tied down with string or wire.
When The Driver and Teeth have their shootout, Teeth both fires first and flinches as if he was shot first before The Driver fires a shot. This can be seen at 1:22:45 in the movie.
During the first chase, in the view from the driver's POV as they approach the place where the police car will crash skid marks from at least one previous take are visible.
After Teeth shoots and kills the Connection, Rudy Ramos is seen looking off-camera for a second, apparently forgetting his next cue.
When Bruce Dern is talking with his partner while drinking his Coke, the levels in the bottle go
from 1/2 full to 1/8 full with one quick sip...then empty...then 1/2 full again.
After leaving the poker table, The Player gives a piercing glance directly into the eye of the camera.
During the bank robbery, one of the men fires off a shot (there's a recoil and a casing flying through the air) but no sound is heard.
The three-slot payphone which the Driver uses in the hotel does not make its characteristic "ding-ding" when he inserts the coin.
After the supermarket robbery, before Teeth shoots up the store and they all drive off, Glasses scolds his getaway driver for not opening the door. His mouth keeps moving long after his line has finished.
After the bank job, when the Driver is escaping in the red truck, the camera is reflected in the glass of the truck's back window. It's on a tripod in the truck bed, covered with a blanket.
When The Driver elegantly destroys the Mercedes, there is a quick shot where the car hits a wall head-on, then reverses away. The stunt driver is visible as his blond wig almost falls off.
Moments after the final car chase ends in a brutal crash, a brief POV shot shows a c-stand and flag in plain sight.
Camera shadow is visible on the wooden banister when Teeth falls down the stairs after the Driver punches him.
In the final scene at the railway station, The Driver looks around carefully at a nearly deserted station before opening the locker. Within 5 seconds he opens the locker, removes a briefcase, and turns around to find The Detective, his 2 plainclothes associates, and 15 uniformed police lined up behind him.
The Detective achieved his goals: getting the Driver to admit that he participated in the heist, and retrieving the money from the bank job. Additionally, he could have had the Driver arrested on suspicion of killing Teeth and Glasses. Yet he let him walk away.
