The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Rated R for bloody violent content, disturbing images, language and strong graphic nudity.

During a slow-motion scene at the beginning of the film that takes place in a locker room, we see full-frontal nudity from several girls. We then see one girl in the shower (her bare buttocks are visible through the steam,) where she receives her first menstruation period. The girl, unaware of what is happening, begins panicking and runs across the locker room in hysterics (we see her bare breasts and buttocks for most of the scene.)

A girl and a boy kiss passionately as the girl begins to kiss down the boy's chest and then kneels down (we hear his pants unzip and then see him leaning back and moaning as the girl is presumably performing oral sex on him.)

A girl's bare breasts are visible as she gets out of a bathtub in a scene towards the end of the film.

Violence & Gore

A girl receives her first menstruation period while in the shower (we see a lot of blood dripping onto the floor and going down the drain.)

A girl uses her telekinesis powers to throw a boy from his bicycle (he is slightly injured.)

In many scenes, a woman is very violent to her daughter (she often slaps her several times, and sometimes drags her into a closet to pray.)

A female teacher slaps a girl in the face after she insults her.

A boy slaps a girl in the face.

A boy kills several pigs with a large hammer (we only see the hammer coming up and down and hear the pigs squealing.)

A bucket of pigs' blood is dumped onto a girl from above during a prom, covering her in blood. The bucket then falls onto a boy's head, knocking him unconscious, and the girl imagines that everyone in the crowd is laughing at her. She then uses her telekinesis powers to massacre the prom (we see several people being burned, crushed, and electrocuted; blood is evident.) The girl also causes a huge fire, which destroys the gym where the prom took place.

A girl and a boy in a car attempt to run over the girl, but she uses her telekinesis powers to destroy the car and kill them both.

The girl takes a bath to rinse the pigs' blood off of her (we see a lot of blood in the water.)

The girl's mother, believing the girl to have the devil's power, stabs her in the back with a large kitchen knife, causing her to fall down a staircase (we see some blood on her back, coming out of her mouth, and on the blade of the knife.) The girl's mother corners her against a door and raises the knife to stab her again, but the girl uses her telekinesis powers to impale her mother with several sharp kitchen untensils (blood is evident.) The girl is then overcome with guilt and uses several candles to set the house on fire. Eventually, it crumbles, killing the girl.

A girl has a nightmare where she sets flowers on another girl's grave when suddenly, the other girl's bloody hand violently pops out of the ground and grabs her.

Profanity

Several F-Words.

Adult and teenage characters drink alcoholic beverages and smoke cigarettes in a few scenes.

Several terrifying and disturbing scenes appear throughout the movie (all of which are accompanied by suspenseful/intense music,) especially the famous scene in which a girl massacres her prom using her telekinesis powers.
