The picture quality of this release is quite good. It could a be bit sharper on some scenes, but overall the picture is very pleasing. Especially the lack of any video noise is great on all the dark scenes in this movie. There are no visible compression artifacts.

The mono sound is quite good, especially 'John Carpenter' 's musical score comes over very well.
