A must-see for Mary Tyler Moore or Elvis fans!, 9 August 1999
Author: Mailgirl from Huntsville, Alabama

The reasons I even watched this film were that I am a huge fan of Mary Tyler Moore, and I tend to fixate on all things Catholic. MTM is a young pretty nun who falls for inner-city doctor, Elvis. The movie's big question is "Will Mary give up her life in the Nunnery to become Mrs. Doctor Presley?" This is a cute but somewhat dated movie. Mary's chemistry with Elvis is a little questionable, so the viewer doesn't have a hard time believing that she would return to the convent. It is, however, very cute, and fans of either star shouldn't miss it. Watch for Ed Asner in a bit part as a cop one year before he played Mary's boss on the "Mary Tyler Moore Show".
