• Crew or equipment visible: A thin string can be seen tied to the raven's leg when he first flies across the room, and when he is perched on the chair.
  
  
• Continuity: The amount of milk in Dr. Craven's glass increases from one shot to another.
  
  
• Continuity: When Dr. Scarabus shakes hands with Dr. Craven, Dr. Bedlo stands behind the latter, but seen from behind he appears a little way on the left side of Dr. Craven.
  
  

• Continuity: When Jack Nicholson's character climbs out of the window to go to Dr. Craven's room, he goes around a corner then a part of the ledge breaks away. Estelle screams as he's stumbling even though she cannot see around the corner.
