Includes the same documentary and the same transfer as the Criterion version. morris@altair.sce.carleton.ca writes: The worst aspect of the new disc is the arbitrary stills put "under" the overture. In the 89 cassette release, people returned the cassettes, because there was a black picture for the first 5 minutes! Instad of simply putting an Overture sign up, which they did for intermission, they put up random still scenes, mostly from the film! David Lean would have gone berserk! How dare they attach visual meaning to each part of the overture! |
