Yes - it really is! The infamous von Bulows eventually bought one of the mansions featured in this film. The death (and possibly murder) of Sunny von Bulow is detailed in the film, "Reversal of Fortune" starring Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons (for which he won a Best Actor Oscar).
