This film borrows many plot elements and charactors from Raymond Chandler's novel "Farewell, My Lovely," too numerous to list here. For more, see " I Love Trouble" trivia under spoilers.
Both films feature a large man looking for a missing girlfriend upon his release from prison. In 'Murder My Sweet', the character's name is Moose; in 'Lady in Cement', Tony Rome refers to the character as Moose when looking for him.
