If you love video games and think they deserve more recognition, how about an awards show to help them get more time in the spotlight? If you think that’s a good idea, you’re in luck so read on from this official press release.
Between now and December 7th, community voting is open for the Gamers’ Choice awards. It’s a very unique and cool (if not first of its kind) voting mechanic: there is one video for each nominee, and each video view counts as a vote. Each video contains clickable links to easily navigate around all the categories and nominees. There’s even a community contest, with five $1,000 shopping sprees up for grabs.
The awards show itself will be held at the Redbull House in Santa Monica, CA on 12/11/09, one day before the Vga’s. Then on 12/15/09, a special episode of Inside Gaming will feature all of

If you’re a gamer and a follower of industry news, you need to check out the Inside Gaming Awards, a huge new gaming awards show from Machinima.com. If you watch trailers and previews online, then you’ve no doubt come across Machinima’s widely popular YouTube channel for which we’ve used ourselves here at Game Rant to share trailers with you.

The collection features "14 of the finest works from the universally acclaimed Master of Suspense come together for the first time in one collection." Packaged in a velvet box, the individual discs inside come four to a case, decorated with original poster art. A 36-page booklet is filled mostly with stills and poster art. As with all the gold box deals, this deal is only good until midnight.

The deeper I delve into writing, the more movies and literature I digest. My biggest obstacle at this point is not finding the material, it’s finding the time to watch it, and the money to purchase it all. After consistently emptying my bank account on countless DVD’s and books over the last few months, I really started to ask myself one question: How the hell can I pick all this stuff up quickly and affordably? Well, an obvious solution occurred to me - why not seek out box sets?
