- A volcanologist arrives at a countryside town recently named the second-most desirable place to live in America, and discovers that a nearby long-dormant volcano may awaken at any moment.

- The story is set in the fictitious Norwegian town of Solbekk, where we meet several families bonded together in different ways. The title of the series reflects the name of a club in which most of the women in the series takes part. We meet people of all ages and from all social classes; school children, pensioners, factory owners, taxi drivers, mentally disabled, child abusers, alcoholics and homosexuals.
- In the 6 hour TV-series Fortuna based on a trilogy by famous Norwegian writer Alexander Kielland, we follow Abraham Lovdahl, an upper-class citizen of Stavanger, through his childhood (ep.1 and 2) and adult life (ep. 3-6). Throughout the series, he has to meet the expectations of the society. We watch the struggle within him between the rebel and the conservative, in the first two episodes represented through his mother and father respectively.
- "Herman", based on Lars Saabye Christensen's novel of the same name, tells the story of the young boy Herman who suddenly loses his hair and becomes bald at the age of eleven. Movie follows him through what is a very difficult period in his life, through big mood swings and irrational behaviour until he finally learns to accept himself for who he is.
- "Lille Lørdag" is a TV-series consisting of many different parts, mainly parodying older NRK (and general TV) productions and stars (Erik Bye), and previous prime ministers (Einar Gerhardsen). It does so by pretending that they are heroes. The programs usually end with a short series. In the second production year, this was a comedy called "Min Drømmeserie" and took place in Arendal, generally parodying the Arendal dialect. In the third year, it was a so-called horror story based on old Sami religion.
- A plump loser, after being left at the alter by his fiancee, is invited to Christmas dinner by a beautiful woman, but her family are cannibals who intend to have *him* as the main course.

- "The Julekalender" is a Christmas story about three "nisser" who have to go from the North Pole and back to the "hule" (cave) in the Norwegian province of Trondelag to find the life melody of the head nisse "Good old gammel nok" who is about to die. However they have to watch out for the evil "Nåså", who during the series comes to live with a potato farmer nearby. The series is based on funny lines containing dialect (the potato farmer) or a mix between Norwegian and English (the nisses). The lines are repeated in episode after episode, and if a good line occurs, one of the nisses will say "Hey, that's a good vending (phrase). Maybe we can use that in another episode!" The show is a copy from the danish "The Julekalender" (1991). The danish show was made of the band "De Nattergale".
