The film aspect also focuses on the history and influence of Chicago's independent and punk scene, even though it was often, and still, overlooked by punk historians and more recently, documentary filmmakers. The CD portion of the release will feature live highlights from their shows since Naked Raygun's reunion at Riot Fest 2006, and will include all of the songs most identified with Naked Raygun.
- Chicago's St.Vitus Improv Workshop has collected sketches created with the singular goal of taking ideas and filming them - in a single day, and on a zero-to-micro budget. Four stories have been worked from either a script idea, or an improvised scenario brought in by a writer or a member of the workshop, and riffed on/improvised in front of the camera on the day of the shoot. In common to all of the stories are a feel and affection for the city of Chicago, and carrying on a tradition of improvisational comedy that has its roots in the city, including its references to personal relationships, current social trends and pop-culture media tropes.

They regroup in their apartment and try to re-bond, but there is something already in his mind. He has become politically radicalized, and she cannot talk reason into him. She desperately tries to stop him, but can't. Following him outside in the early morning under the urban Chicago EL line tracks, she catches up with him and begs him to stop and reconsider. He lets loose, on his motivations. She again tries to block him and stop him, but he is determined. He has been forced in radical actions beyond their relationship. After he is gone, she ponders on the Lake Michigan beach and then later in her apartment, understands what he is about to do. It is then she finally understands him. But of course it is all too late. 16mm BW film, shot on a CP 16 with sync sound. Chicago, Illinois, Ukrainian Village, upper Loop downtown, Chicago city Lake Michigan shore parks.
