- When the wife of troubled FBI agent Flynn Carroll goes missing, the trail leads to a shadowy group of international terrorists known as Hunters. To find his wife, Flynn joins forces with the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU), a highly classified Homeland Security division charged with stopping the Hunters -- terrorists who may not even be human.
- Hunters are bombing random targets on US soil and killing innocent civilians. Flynn and the ETU investigate the violent terrorist acts, and discover that the Hunters are working with human collaborators - leading Flynn to question why they kidnapped his wife.
- The ETU captures their greatest asset yet. Jackson (Lewis Fitz-Gerald) makes a moral compromise to combat the Hunter threat, and McCarthy (Julian McMahon) shows the lengths he is willing to go to protect his kind.
- The ETU tracks the Hunters to a drug compound deep in the Columbian jungle where they face off against a new and dangerous threat. Flynn must learn to trust his partner, Regan, as she confronts her own past.
- Regan (Britne Oldford) is held by the Hunters, who attempt to "reprogram" her. The ETU endeavors to locate their missing agent while simultaneously trying to determine if there is a mole in their ranks.
- The ETU discovers the name and suspected location of a High Value Target, dredging up old memories for Jackson (Lewis Fitz-Gerald). Flynn (Nathan Phillips), Regan (Britne Oldford) and Briggs (Mark Coles Smith) attempt a daring raid on a Turkish prison.
- Flynn (Nathan Phillips) discovers startling new information about his wife, leading the ETU to a suspected human-Hunter-collaborator, and Flynn to an unexpected confrontation.
- Regan (Britne Oldford) learns that she was not told the truth about her father's disappearance. Meanwhile, Flynn (Nathan Phillips) and Briggs (Mark Coles Smith) race against the Hunters to acquire a scientist critical to "The Purge."
- Flynn (Nathan Phillips) faces his demons by visiting the only other Marine in his platoon to survive their captivity in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the ETU discovers that Emme (Shannon Berry) might know too much.
- Flynn (Nathan Phillips) struggles with his self-destructive downward spiral, Regan (Britne Oldford) confronts her mother, and the Hunters make last-minute preparations for The Purge.
- In the fallout of the Hunter roundup, Jackson (Lewis Fitz-Gerald) and Finnerman (Sarah Peirse) are at odds with each other. The ETU's only hope of stopping The Purge is to make a risky move on the Hunter's weapons' supplier, Viktor Karp (Erroll Shand).
- With The Purge imminent, the ETU has no choice but to trust an unlikely informant, leading all paths to converge at the primary Hunter base for a climactic showdown.
- The ETU finally cracks the Hunter language, allowing Finnerman (Sarah Peirse) to set a trap. Regan (Britne Oldford) questions whether all Hunters are terrorists, or whether some may be innocents living among us.
