- Cyril Sneer reopens his mansions closed theater, as a place where his son Cedric can stage a new play. As casting goes on, wealthy socialite Lady Baden-Baden and her husband Mr Knox show up, with Baden-Baden hoping to land a role in the production. While Cedric gives her the minor role of the Innkeeper, Cyril tries to get Cedric to give Lady Baden-Baden more line and a greater presence, hoping this can lead to a business deal between her and Mr Knox in financing the production. However, as Cedric keeps trying to make changes to the play, strange things begin happening. Doors slam by themselves, unknown figures are seen backstage. Even a ghostly face appears in Lady Baden-Baden's dressing room, calling out to "remember the voices from beyond." Bert Raccoon and Cyril's three pigs attempt to investigate, soon turning up an old script titled, "The Voices From Beyond." Shortly after the script is found, Lady Baden-Baden disappears. Bert thinks he knows who abducted her, when the phantom of Sneer Manor is revealed: playwright Edward Miller, who wrote "The Voices From Beyond." After revealing himself, Miller tells everyone how years before, Cyril produced his play, but ruined it with all sort of stipulations and demands. After hearing these circumstances, Lady Baden-Baden and Mr Knox wish to fund a revamp of Miller's production, with Cyril also brought in as a co-producer. Miller's production goes over well, but Cyril's hopes of turning a profit on the successful production are wiped out, when Mr Knox tells Cyril that the profits from the show, will go to fund Mr Miller's retirement.
- When the Pigs uncover a possible plot by the Raccoons to take care of Cyril Sneer, Cyril tries to uncover their plan before it's too late.
