Jecobi Swain is a triple threat best known for his role as 'Ray-Ray' in the Amazon feature film "Troop Zero" alongside Viola Davis and for his viral dance videos, which have been reposted by Chris Brown, Shaderoom and many others. JeCobi stars as 'Kelvin' in ABC's new comedy "Home Economics," a show about three grown-up siblings who find themselves living at vastly different levels of financial security from one another. Jecobi's character 'Kelvin' is the son of 'Denise,' played by Sasheer Zamata and 'Sarah,' played by Caitlin McGee. Additional credits include "Honey: Rise Up and Dance," Lifetime's "Hometown Christmas," ABC's "Child Support," TNT's "Claws" and Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier." Swain will also star as the lead in Netlfix's "My Dad the Bounty Hunter", as well as staring as a lead in Ellen Degeneres animated show "Little Ellen". In addition, JeCobi also stars as the lead in multiple animated shows soon to be announced.
Born in Atlanta, JeCobi Swain got his start in the industry at the age of 4 when his dad was part of "So You Think You Can Dance" season 11. JeCobi danced along with his dad, and everyone saw he was a natural performer who came alive on stage. Knowing he had something special, JeCobi's parents facilitated his talent, and he began training in both on-camera techniques and musical theatre at the Alliance Theater at the age of 4, and is currently coached in dancing by his dad and his mom in acting. He has consistently been performing ever since, and brings his personality and passion to every role he books.
With an already impressive resume under his belt, JeCobi can be seen in commercials for Sky Zone, Delta, Spectrum, Boys & Girls Club of America, Arby's, Hilton, Etch-A-Sketch, Nike, American Family Insurance, The General Insurance alongside Shaq and the Emmy-nominated " I AM FOX" commercial for legendary The Fox Theatre. He also has lent his voice to numerous projects including NFL's "Win Your Weekend" commercial series and has appeared in many music videos including "Reverse" by Greg Sykes, "Be There" by Teyana Taylor featuring T.I. and "USA" for Ludacris' Kid Nation project.
When JeCobi is on stage, he feels at home, but when not acting, he can be found playing basketball, soccer and football, dancing, meditating, collecting crystals or learning how to play the guitar. He is passionate about his faith in God and helping animals, homeless people and those battling cancer. Swain is inspired by his parents and himself, for all that he has accomplished thus far, and by iconic actors Michael B. Jordan, Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves and Leonardo DiCaprio. In the future, he hopes to be a director and producer, an R&B artist, an exotic animal specialist, a movie fight choreographer and a firefighter.- Actress
