Osmond's Teenage Son Checks Into Rehab
Marie Osmond fought back tears as she revealed her teenage son has checked into rehab during a TV interview on Wednesday night. The singer, who buried her father on Friday, told CNN anchorman Larry King that another family crisis was brewing. Her 16-year-old son Michael is seeking treatment for an undisclosed issue. The Dancing With The Stars participant said, "My son was put into a rehab... My son is amazing... He is the most amazing kid." Brother Donny Osmond, who was sitting beside Marie for her appearance on Larry King Live, helped his sister find the right words as she struggled to maintain her composure on the show. In a statement released earlier in the day, Marie Osmond said, "As his mother, I couldn't be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time."
Pompeo Weds in Low-Key Ceremony
Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo has married her fiance Chris Ivery in a low-key ceremony in New York. The actress wed record producer Ivery on Friday - one day before her 38th birthday - at Manhattan's City Hall, with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg serving as their witness, according to reports. A spokeswoman for Pompeo says, "They are over the moon." And the nuptials were so secret, Pompeo's own father only found out about the wedding when she phoned home after the ceremony had taken place. But Joseph Pompeo insists he isn't upset by his daughter's decision. He tells People.com, "I'm very happy for her." Asked why the actress chose to marry on that particular date, he replied, "(I have) no idea. You'll have to ask her. She just didn't want a big thing." The couple became engaged in November after dating for three years.

DeGeneres Cancels New York Show?
Ellen DeGeneres has reportedly axed plans to film her talk show in Manhattan, New York, after she was criticized for crossing the striking Hollywood picket line. The TV star came under fire for not joining protestors like TV hosts David Letterman or Jay Leno in order to film her series, Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show last Tuesday. And although her representative defended her actions on the grounds she is the host of a syndicated show and not a network-owned program, DeGeneres has scrapped plans to film in the city. According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, DeGeneres agreed to cancel the show after receiving a letter from Writers Guild East. The Writers Guild letter warned, "We certainly intend to let Ellen know our dissatisfaction in person if she decides to proceed with the shows she has scheduled in New York on November 19th and 20th. We will also make our voices heard the preceding week if she tries to pre-tape comedy segments on location."
Federline Calls Another Emergency Meeting Over Spears' Latest Traffic Offense
Kevin Federline has requested an emergency meeting with Britney Spears' lawyers after a videotape emerged of her driving through a red light with her two sons in the car. Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan says his client is concerned over the safety of the couple's sons Sean Preston and Jayden James after previously insisting the singer not be allowed to drive when with the children. Kaplan is also expected to discuss media reports the hitmaker tested positive for amphetamines during the meeting with Spears' lawyer on Friday. According to website Tmz.com, asthma sufferer Spears will claim the positive drug test was caused by her inhaler. Spears' attorney Sorrell Trope refused to comment on the alleged failed drugs test, but maintains the latest traffic offence will not jeopardize her custody battle. Trope tells People.com, "Ms. Spears was being mobbed by paparazzi at the time. She was distracted. This was not blatant irresponsible driving on her part."
Winehouse Dedicates Gig to Jailed Husband

Troubled star Amy Winehouse infuriated fans at a gig on Wednesday by turning her performance into a bizarre tribute to jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil. The concert in Birmingham, England, was the singer's first public performance since her spouse was arrested and jailed last week accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Fans booed before walking out of the gig - the first night of her UK tour - enraged by Winehouse's incoherent performance, and were unimpressed when the singer stumbled on stage half an hour later than billed, before crashing into a guitar stand. However, Winehouse was unfazed by the booing from the crowd - and threatened them with the wrath of Fielder-Civil. She told the audience, "Let me tell you something. First of all, if you're booing you're a mug for buying a ticket. Second, to all the people booing - just wait till my husband gets out." After singing hit "Back To Black," she said, "Nothing's going to bring my husband back." Winehouse then dedicated track "Wake Up Alone" to Fielder-Civil, announcing, "This is for my husband." At the end of the gig, Winehouse stopped singing closing number "Valerie" mid-way through, before dropping the microphone and walking off stage.
West Autopsy: "Cause of Death Is Inconclusive"

An autopsy performed on the body of Kanye West's late mother Donda West has failed to reveal the cause of death. Experts are now relying on the results of extensive toxicology tests which may be able to provide valuable clues in the investigation into the death of Dr Donda West, who passed away on Saturday. A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner's office says it could now be several weeks before an official conclusion is reached. The 58-year-old is reported to have suffered complications following plastic surgery which may have led to her death. However, Dr. Jan Adams, who performed a tummy tuck and a breast reduction operation on West the day before she died, has denied any responsibility - insisting he has "done nothing wrong."
Moore & Perry Dating?

Actress/singer Mandy Moore and former Friends star Matthew Perry have fuelled speculation they're an item after they were seen kissing and cuddling at a restaurant. Moore, 23, and Perry, 38, enjoyed a romantic meal at the Amici Trattoria restaurant in Beverly Hills, California recently. An onlooker tells the New York Daily News, "They were holding hands across the table and being really close and laughing a lot the whole time." Eligible bachelor Perry has also been linked to actress Meg Ryan after they were spotted dining together at Los Angeles hotel Chateau Marmont earlier this month. Perry and Ryan were seen together again on November 10 when they took in a concert at the Wiltern theatre.
'Law & Order' Star Pregnant

Former Law & Order star Elisabeth Rohm is pregnant with a baby girl she plans to call Easton. The actress realized she was expecting shortly after fiance Ron Wooster, an entrepreneur, asked her to marry him this summer. She recalls, "I went to the doctor, and they tested me and said 'You are pregnant' - and of course I screamed because it's a miracle for anyone." The 34-year-old tells America's Life & Style magazine, "I am so excited. I feel great. I've been sleeping 10 hours a day and eating truckloads of food on a daily basis. I'm eating fruit and yoghurt and granola and great vegetables." Rohm is due on April 28 - and already has her baby's name sorted. But the happy news means wedding plans are off for the time being: "We postponed the wedding because it's really less important than having a great pregnancy, and weddings can be stressful." Rohm tells the publication that she and Wooster will now wed in The Hamptons, New York next September.
