Lost — Big Death (and Life) in S6 Premiere
15 hours ago
We've all known that the sixth and final season of Lost will be bloody. That's almost a given for any final season of a show as populated and epic as Lost. But don't think you'll have to wait even a few episodes for the first big death of the season. E! Online's Kristin dos Santos offered us two choices for who the death would be, and both of them involve our favorite Republican Guardsman: Sayid Jarrah.
"One of the following is true," dos Santos hinted. "Sayid dies, or Sayid kills Jack."
Both don't really bode well for Sayid, especially since the second option is about as likely as the Island being on the back of a giant turtle.
We last saw Sayid near death in "The Incident," after he had been shot in the abdomen by Roger Linus. He was still clinging onto life as the Incident happened at the Swan station, »

Cast Photos – Damages Season 3
Season 3 of Damages will be premiering on January 25, 2010 and several new cast members will be joining the cast (see when your other favorite shows will be returning in 2010). FX has released several photos in anticipation of the season 3 premiere. Damages is a great, dramatic show with solid performances, even if the quality did dip a bit in season 2. If you don't watch it, you still have time to catch up on seasons 1 and 2, before season 3 premieres.
Check out the cast photos below. It's all very dark and mysterious.
Campbell Scott and Martin Short Sign On as Series Regulars and Lily Tomlin and Keith Carradine Take on Guest Starring Roles

Now that Survivor: Samoa has completed, it's time to move on to Survivor All Stars: Heroes vs. Villians, premiering February 11, 2010.
Has the list of contestants been leaked? Read on but be prepared to be Spoiled!
First, the Heroes:
That's (in alphabetical order): Rupert Boneham, James Clement, Colby Donaldson, Cirie Fields, Amanda Kimmel, Jessica ‘Sugar’ Kiper, Stephenie Lagrossa, James “J.T.” Thomas, Tom Westman, and Candice Woodcock.
Amazing! Definitely some of the best-loved contestants ever!
Now, for the Villians:
Ostensibly led by Survivor: Samoas Ultimate Whiner, Russell Hantz, the cast of Villians also include Tyson Apostol, Randy Bailey, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Danielle Dilorenzo, Jerri Manthey, Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, Parvati Shallow, Ben “Coach” Wade, and Courtney Yates.
With the exception of Boston Rob, I'm not that impressed with the Villian Tribe. However, I'm sure one of them will be favored to win. »

Confusion Reigns Over New 'Fringe' Episode
19 hours ago
We reported earlier this month that Fringe was going to be airing an unseen season one episode on January 11. Now, with the rediscovery of a promo (which aired after "There Is More Than One Of Everything" last season), that seems to be for this episode, it's being reported that this episode will not be a standalone, but will actually be part of season two.
Whaaat?
That's what various news sites are reporting. Fox's official FringeWiki has listed "Unearthed," the believed title of the unaired episode, as episode 2.11. Of course, this would make no sense for Fox to throw this episode into such a serialized show, especially with the more focused storyline of the new season.
The trailer, which you can watch below, was our official promo for season two which aired after the season one finale. However, after ten episodes, we haven't seen a peek of this one. It would »

Glee Spoilers – The Road to Regionals
22 December 2009 5:40 PM, PST
Expect more big stars to appear in 2010
Glee will be returning with new episodes on April 13 (see when your other favorite shows return in 2010) and Glee creator Ryan Murphy shares some upcoming spoilers during an E!Online interview.
Murphy was very surprised by the fans' love for the Rachel-Puck relationship. He reveals that Rachel will be dealing with several men in the second half of season one, including Finn, Puck and newcomer Jonathan Groff's character (who also happens to be Lea Michele's former Spring Awakening co-star).
Murphy also reveals that Quinn will be having her baby before the end of the season, but chances are it won't happen on stage at Regionals.
Don't count Sue Sylvester out because she departed to Florida at the end of the last episode. Sue will be back and might even be in cahoots with Vocal Adrenaline, according to Murphy. He promises she'll »

TMZ Sports to Debut Soon
22 December 2009 5:03 PM, PST
TMZ may reign supreme in the world of entertainment (or at least be the first site to report on some of the biggest scoops), but not TMZ founder Harvey Levin is turning his eye to the wide world of sports.
Warner Brothers has registered TMZSports.com as the domain for the new TMZ Sports site. Question is, will the site's focus be on the scandalous lives of sports stars (such as infamous adulterer Tiger Woods) or be a true sports site, focusing more on the game?
According to Sports by Brooks, TMZ Sports sounds more like a sports gossip site than anything else.
So why is Levin is starting TMZSports.com? If you have to ask that question, this must be your first visit to SbB.

Why promoting 'FlashForward' as next 'Lost' was a bad idea
22 December 2009 1:57 PM, PST
If you watched any television on ABC during the months leading up to FlashForward's series premiere, you probably got the message loud and clear: FlashForward is the next Lost. ABC did everything in their power to convince the viewing public that FlashForward was the show that was destined to fill the hole that was going to be left by Lost's absence after its 6th and final season.
The FlashForward promotion worked, too. Many viewers were extremely excited leading up to FlashForward's premiere, and the buzz on the Internet was exactly what ABC was pushing. The Lost fanbase, for the most part, tuned in to see what ABC expected them to watch when their beloved Island drama was dead and buried (unlike a certain ex-disabled walking deadman).
However, the FlashForward/Lost cross-promotion may have actually had negative consequences that ABC didn't expect, or that maybe they had their »

First Look – The Cast and Characters of Spartacus
22 December 2009 8:11 AM, PST
When a show is renewed before it even premieres, you know it is going to be good. Spartacus is just that show, and we've had an early look at the first five episodes of Starz latest original and can confirm: it totally rocks. Spartacus compares favorably with recent period pieces such as Rome and The Tudors, but will more readily tap into the more high octane cinematic trappings of Gladiator and The 300. The period work is compellingly accurate, the action is addictive, and the story is compelling from the opening shot. Watch for our review in the next couple of days. For now, behold the chiseled cast of Spartacus.
In a bold vote of confidence, Starz executives announced plans today to order a second season of the ground-breaking new original series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," set to premiere Friday, January 22nd at 10 pm Et/Pt. The unusual timing of the renewal, »

Men of a Certain Age 1.03 "Mind's Eye" Recap
22 December 2009 3:39 AM, PST
Last night on Moaca, the theme for our Three Musketeers was character, which was given to us on various levels that I labeled them: heartwarming, understandable, and a complete a waste of one character's time. But as a whole, the episode worked well by showing the guys taking control of their lives for once instead of letting things crumble, bitch, or just gestate around them. So without further adieu, here is the recap for "Mind's Eye".
The Set Up
Joe
After golfing with his son Albert, Joe is shocked to hear his son asking about the Mile High Club. While Joe stutters around the subject, Albert is already hipped to the game and deduces that it means sex. Joe is then confused when Albert says he didn't get on the bus when Joe dropped him off for a field trip, which makes Joe worry about Albert's mind state when Albert »

It appears that a stunt coordinator is preparing Daniel Dae Kim (Jin) and Andrew Divoff (Mikhail) for a fight scene. Hmm. At first glance, it looks like Jin is winning the fight without too much difficulty. The big question is: where, »
