This afternoon we got our hands on the first two (one pretty amazing) still from the flick starring Danielle Harris, Kelly McGillis and Conor Paolo. In addition, we also got the first ever still from Joe Maggio's Bitter Feast. The film, written by Jim Mickle and Nick Damici and directed by Jim Mickle ("Mulberry Street"), takes place following a global spread of vampirism. McGillis plays a nun who joins a small team of survivors (including Damici, Danielle Harris of "Halloween" and "Halloween 2" and Conor Paolo of "Gossip Girl") as they make a treacherous journey north to safety through the war-torn U.S. McGillis' character, "Sister," faces a crisis of faith during the vampire bloodshed, ultimately taking up arms to do battle with her newly formed family unit. »

This past week Bloody Disgusting's Evan Katz headed up north to Vancouver to check out the set of Sony Stage 6's 30 Days Of Night: Dark Days, which is currently being directed by Ben Ketai. Beyond the break you'll find a little teaser from set, which reveals some brand new casting including Ginger Snaps star Katherine Isabelle! While Id already known about the casting of Kiele Sanchez, Mia Kirschner, Rhys Coiro, Diora Baird, Harold Perrineau, Troy Ruptash, Jackson Berlin, John De Santis, and Marco Sorian I was pleasantly surprised to find Katherine Isabelle of Ginger Snaps fame was has a role in the film. I cant give away too much, but her scene involved a skimpy blue nightgown, fifty degree weather, and a highly unorthodox vampiric initiation ritual. Really screwed up, intense stuff. More »
