This is a little weird: Harvey Weinstein told Sci Fi Wire that he's anxiously awaiting Frank Miller's finished script for Sin City 2, telling the site that greenlighting the project a top priority.
Wire reports that Weinstein was surprised to hear that Miller was working on a screenplay, something we thought was moving forward quite some time ago. "I hope he's about to finish a script," Weinstein said. "We're certainly going to do Sin City 2 eventually, so I'm sure that's coming up."
Miller has said he'd like to co-direct the sequel to the surprise 2005 hit with Robert Rodriguez, and after the dismal performance of Miller's solo debut as a director, The Spirit, I'm sure the Weinsteins wouldn't have it any other way.
