Chez Davis
- Actor
Chez Davis is not your typical Northern English lad. He's got bags of charisma, and
is a born performer who has a laid back approach to life. Even from a young age
nothing would phase him.
A star in his school days, achieving leading roles in performing arts productions and always first pick in several of the sports teams, his athletic ability was impressive from a young age.
At 5 years old Chez became an Academy Football player with Manchester City, he stayed until he was 13 as he was faced with a life changing decision. Football or music? Choosing a musical path he followed his older brother into his first band.
As lead singer, Chez led a National TV campaign 'Stop Smoking' and later footballs 'Kick it Out' campaign performing self written songs. He also landed a Christmas Day BBC1 performance all by the age of 15, setting up his foundations in the entertainment industry
He did continue his footballing career until age 17, having spells at Macclesfield Town and Burnley FC. He still plays to a high amateur standard today, when he's not on the road that is...
As a teen Chez performed as guitarist and singer for Outrage, a teen pop punk band, nationally supporting acts such as Matt Willis and writing songs with James Bourne (both from BUSTED) as well as Steve Rushton (Son Of Dork). The band were regularly featured in the BBC Top of The Pops magazine.
In his Twenty's Chez broke into the modeling scene, featuring in shoots across the UK and the south of France whilst making a feature music video for his new project. He has appeared in fashion walks for ILLAMASQUE, test shoots for Adidas and has fronted campaigns for brands such as Ringspun. This has made Chez more comfortable and natural in front of cameras.
2015/16 he founded a new working relationship with two friends Ben and Jamie, giving birth to the trio known as 'LoudKidz', they started writing and recording their new blend of alt-pop-rap. They signed a worldwide management deal with Simon Napier Bell (Wham) and toured over 20 shows around Europe supporting Various artists.
The bands popularity grew and they were soon featured on all Manchester United social media pages and had a slot on Channel 4s hit TV show 'Rude Tube'. They went on to play shows at Thorpe Park and appeared in the celebrity soccer six tournaments, music videos were made and a European wide fan base was established.
The band eventually evolved into rock band Y.O.U.N.G and landed major support slots with artists like: The Script, James Arthur and Emile Sande.
They played live on the 'Jeremy Vine Show' (BBC R2) this gave the band an injection of interest, helping them to feature songs during World Cup TV airings and securing live performances in England's Fan Zones across the UK.
It wasn't long until the band started selling out headline shows in Manchester, followed by a new experience of festival stages across the UK.
With new producers on board (pre-Covid), they spent a month in LA writing, recording and headlining a show at the famous Viper Rooms venue on Sunset Boulevard.
In 2020 Covid paused the music industry and Chez landed his first role in a feature film playing a music ticket tout in the movie 'Pebble and the Boy' the film had cinema release in 2021 and will hit streaming sites in 2022.
Chez is now looking for acting, presenting and many more TV & film opportunities.
