Thor, the God of Thunder, is one of the most beloved and fan-favorite characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While fans love his comic book iteration more, Chris Hemsworth’s live-action Thor is not far behind. After several appearances and four solo movies, Hemsworth’s Thor has a separate fan base among the Marvel fandom.
Chris Hemsworth in and as Thor
Yet, he is not the only actor to have portrayed Thor. Thor, the Marvel character or Nordic God, has made several appearances on-screen, whether it is in live-action or animation. And Pilou Asbæk is the latest actor who would be seen playing Thor, and he reckons it will be totally different from MCU’s version.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a thing for everything that is catchy – especially melodies you just can’t get out of your head. It doesn’t really matter what genre it is, as long as I wanna put it on repeat. No wonder I started making pop music! I’ve never really wanted to make one type of pop song, I just wanna write good songs. I’ve been writing and writing, and I felt like releasing one single this year just wasn’t enough, so I decided to put out an EP to show where I’m at now musically. I love the format: short and snappy, but enough time to showcase different sides to the songwriting, the story and the sound. On the Hype EP I’ve written about wondering if you really did live up to the expectations, messing up, getting over someone,...

Good Boy is a chilling and twisted feature from up-and-coming Norwegian filmmakers, director Viljar Bøe and producer Karl Oskar Åsli (Til Freddy).
In this bold and original Scandinavian horror, Sigrid (Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredrikse) thinks she’s met the perfect match with the charming and handsome Christian, but there is one catch – he lives with a man who acts like his pet dog. Trying to be open-minded, Sigrid continues the relationship but begins to notice an insidious under-tone to Christian. Maybe ‘puppy play’ isn’t as innocent as it seems.

From Saban Films and writer/director Viljar Bøe, the bizarre new genre movie Good Boy is now playing in select theaters, and it was also released on Digital and On Demand today.

In the exclusive clip you can watch below to whet your appetite, it becomes clear that the man in the dog costume isn’t exactly a willing participant in this twisted game.
“I’d rather get killed than get caught escaping from him,” the man tells Sigrid while she’s taking him out for a walk. “There’s no point in running.

A smiling millionaire with poster-boy good looks seems the perfect catch for a scatty student – until she discover his ‘pet’ is a man masquerading as a dog
There is a streak of boundary-pushing and wantonness to this Norwegian comedy-horror that bodes well for the career of director Viljar Bøe, even if this, his third feature, is not executed with quite enough finesse to match the rabid premise. It hangs on the quintessential modern dating conundrum: what would you do if you bagged your dream partner, only to find out that they live with someone who dresses and acts like their dog?
That’s the dilemma for scatty student Sigrid (Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredriksen), who, despite turning up to their first date in her gym clothes, seems to have struck on an implausible match of opposites in well-tailored, impeccably mannered, calorie-counting multimillionaire orphan Christian (Gard Løkke). She lounges in his bachelor mansion,...

"Frank was the only one who liked me for who I was." Saban Films has debuted the official US trailer for a kinky, extra strange Norwegian film titled Good Boy, from filmmaker Viljar Bøe. This seems to be a freaky twist on "pup play", but with a few twists. A bold & original thriller from up-and coming director Viljar Bøe. Sigrid thinks she's met her perfect match with the charming and handsome Christian, but there is one catch – he lives with a man named Frank who acts like his pet dog. Trying to be open-minded, Sigrid continues the relationship but soon notices an insidious under-tone to Christian. Maybe "puppy play" isn't as innocent as it seems... Throw your old-fashioned moral concepts overboard for this date movie of the wackiest kind. Viljar Bøe’s film transcends the boundaries of genre as much as those between humans and animals. Be a good audience and watch Good Boy!

Zack Snyder has been a busy boy since his guardianship of the DC movie universe came to an end following principal photography on "Justice League." Though he eventually returned to finish his version of that film, the multi-hyphenate filmmaker has since settled in firmly at Netflix and is focusing on original stories rather than pre-existing franchises. Among these projects is "Twilight of the Gods," a 2D animated action series based on Norse mythology.
The project marks another return to Snyder's filmmaking roots. He made his feature directorial debut in 2004 with the very well-received remake of George Romero's "Dawn of the Dead," and his first project for Netflix was the Las Vegas-set undead action horror "Army of the Dead." Snyder's second feature-length film debuted back in 2006 and secured his status as a rising talent to watch: the epic historical war movie "300," inspired by the legendary Battle of Thermopylae. Don’t feel bad if you haven’t heard of the name Hilma af Klint until recently — or before finding your way to “Hilma,” Lasse Hallström’s somewhat syrupy, conventional yet still respectable attempt to broaden the general public’s knowledge of, and affection for, the Swedish abstract artist. If so, you can hardly be blamed for your unawareness, considering af Klint’s longtime (and only recently reversed) obscurity in art circles.
Hers is a story as old as time: A brilliant, ahead-of-her-time woman goes largely ignored despite significant contributions to her field, while her male counterparts claim the spotlight and all the glory. In that regard, it was af Klint herself who invented the notion of abstract painting years before Wassily Kandinsky, one of the most regarded Modernists and abstract painters of all time. And when she died in 1944, her magnificent work was locked away and kept from the public eye for years.

Troll opens with a young girl and her father rock climbing in the reputed home of Norway’s trolls. When the girl professes her disbelief her father tells her to look with her heart not with her eyes and sure enough, faces become visible in the rock formations.
Twenty years later Nora is now a palaeontologist and has just made an important find. Before she can even celebrate a military helicopter arrives with orders to take her to Oslo on a matter of national security. Good Boy
It might have been a simple story of boy meets girl, but this boy, Christian (Gard Løkke), apart from being very rich, has an unusual way of living which might put most girls off: he shares his home with a friend, Franks, who wears a furry suit and spends all his time pretending to be a dog. Sigrid (Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredriksen) is not exactly used to that kind of thing, but when she realises that it’s completely platonic, and when he explains it as something he’s going along with to help his friend through trauma, she decides to give the relationship a chance. Unfortunately, this isn’t the only thing that’s unusual about Christian, and by the time she realises that, it might be too late.
