Jack Sonefeld
- Additional Crew
Jackson Allen is a 20 year old aspiring filmmaker based out of Detroit, MI. He was born in Saginaw living with his parents Brian and Marilyn Sonefeld, and his twin brother Sam before moving at the age of 3, eventually settling in the small town of Clarkston. As time went on he grew stronger into his own identity, becoming obsessed with home video cameras in his youth. This obsession with framing and perfection led to his own perception of self concept and untapped imagination. It pushed him to learn how to tell stories in any way he could, and opened up a part of himself that had not yet had its switched flipped. Undeniably, he left a hefty impression on his teachers and friends throughout high school, his determination and way with words was not as one would call 'normal' for someone at that age, and it was this that set him apart from the rest. Entering a professional setting early in life at the age of fifteen, he began to direct, edit, shoot, and write commercial spots for business advertising, expressing strongly his eye for attractiveness and love for the lens while simultaneously breaking out of the anxious shell he was forced to live in. Over time, he had built up a strong and showcasing portfolio for himself and continued to stay connected with his family and colleagues, while even being blessed with the opportunity to land a few feature production credits before starting his journey to completing and obtaining his bachelors degree in TV & Film and Digital Media. This story is still being written, but we're excited for what's on the next page.
