Alexander Manolides is an award winning filmmaker based in London, UK. He was born in New York in 1996 and grew up in Athens, Greece. He studied at the Savannah College of Art & Design, majoring in Film & TV and minoring in Visual Effects. He also took directing courses from Martin Campbell in the FilmForge program at Nu Boyana Studio. As a director, he has directed four short films in the genres of horror, historical fiction, and science fiction. As a screenwriter, he has been awarded the Danny Lerner Award from Nu Boyana Studio for the screenplay "Daughters of Ares". So far, he has earned over 50 international awards on several different creative and technical categories. He has worked with Greek studios such as View Master Films, Green Olive Films, KC In Action, Filmiki, and Faliro House.
