Maggie Lindemann was introduced to us as a purveyor of pristine pop anthems at the start of her career. However, she’s truly come into herself as one of the industry’s most promising young rockers.
The 25-year-old hitmaker left songs like the wispy “Things” and infectious “Obsessed” in the past, trading them in for plucky anthems with hard-hitting productions. Her career well and truly took flight with her EP Paranoia in 2021, and her debut album Suckerpunch followed the following year.
She’s back again with her latest EP Headsplit, and Maggie delivers edgy, reflective songs reminiscent of acts like Evanescence across the 8-song tracklist. Fans in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to experience the project live in the coming months with two performances recently announced.
Ahead of that, we had the opportunity to catch up with Maggie to discuss Headsplit. She opened up about her evolution, touching on...

Maggie Lindemann has spent much of this year on a sold-out world headlining tour, but now she’s back with a new single called “deprecating,” featuring siiickbrain.
The hauntingly heavy track is perfect for Friday the 13th, with siickbrain’s eerie screams contrasted against Lindemann’s melodic vocals.
Regarding the inspiration behind the new song, Lindemann said, “‘deprecating’ is about being manipulated. It’s about someone who is constantly installing a false narrative in your head. You’re trying to live your own life, and they are just constantly installing a fear in you to keep you from living.”
The song is Lindemann’s first bit of new music since the release of her debut album, Suckerpunch, in 2022. At the time, she premiered the video for the punk-ish song “Cages” via Consequence.
A press release promises “more exciting news coming soon” and that “a new Maggie Lindemann era seems to be on the horizon.

Pop-punk powerhouse LØLØ (Lolo) returns with her scathing new single ‘hot girls in hell’ and an accompanying music video. LØLØ does not shy away from the brutality of her own emotions on the fiery track as she explores the frustration, fury, and despair that comes from letting go-of a toxic relationship with a partner you love to hate.
‘hot girls in hell’ starts off gently, with the lilting waltz of an acoustic guitar carrying LØLØ’s rich alto through the verse before suddenly exploding into the electrifying chorus. Thrashing percussion and violently purring guitar erupt as LØLØ vocally lays into the partner that let her down, belting “You’re f*cking disgusting / you’re good for nothing / […] You think you’re special / I think you’re mental/ I hope there’s no hot girls in hell.”
LØLØ shares of the new single, “I wrote ‘hot girls in hell’ about someone who really hurt my feelings.

Singer-songwriter Maggie Lindemann didn’t appear to be the typical girl next door in a newly shared picture.
Posing for Instagram, she rocked a revealing little black mini-dress that left little to the imagination.
She is known for her gothic looks, and this latest outfit was no exception.
The black leather dress featured cutout details on the front of the dress and a plunging neckline creating a daring look for the singer.
A silver stud trim added some eye-catching detail to the jaw-dropping dress, which Maggie paired with a pair of shiny patent knee-high boots.
To finish off the look, she wore a spiked choker with a cross necklace and a spiked cuff around her wrist to match. Her tattoos complimented the outfit, and she completed it with some heavy black liner around her eyes.

Two years ago, Maggie Lindemann was in the middle of performing at a club in Kuala Lumpur when three Malaysian police officers pulled her off the stage and arrested her.
The American singer, who was there to play the first show of a headlining tour that June, had landed in Asia just a few days earlier. A team had been waiting for her at the airport, and she’d had no trouble getting through customs or checking into her hotel. “Everything was great,” says Lindemann, now 22. “It was a really nice place,...
