- Used to be a Disc Jockey (DJ) during the 60's and 70's. Always on demand, quickly became one of the favorites for New Year's Eve and Debutante parties on the main clubs of the city.
- Worked 58 uninterrupted years with music. 1964-1970: record seller on a department store, disc jockey and radio man; 1971-1998: owner and seller of Golias Discos stores; 1999-2022: seller of used vinyls on Golias Discos.
- His nickname Golias was given by friends when he was a teenager, after he started to imitate the famous Brazilian comedian Ronald Golias on a soccer game.
- Father of Eduardo Moraes and Rodrigo Moraes Silva (deceased).
- Was invited to participate of the TV show Big Brother Brazil (2002), by two producers, in 2014. They were visiting the city after potential candidates, entered the Golias Discos store only to buy some records and were delighted by his personality. It was the year the show was intending to have older contestants in the house. Golias refused the invitation.
- Since 1964, never left Downtown Vitória-ES, Brazil, becoming a cultural landmark of the city.
- Born on December 21, 1947, but registered only on January 13, 1948.
- Spent 10 months on the ship MS Montreux working as a machine cleaner to save money to achieve his biggest dream: open his first record store. The ship passed through the Unites States, some Europe countries and even Japan. Golias came back and opened his store on December 21, 1971 (on his 24th birthday).
- The oldest of 7 siblings.
