Dop Vinoth

Vinoth Kumar is a leading Indian cinematographer. He finished his Bachelor of Film Technology, eventually pursuing the animation and graphics course at ICAT Media Technology and graduated in 2017. Vinoth's project, Markham, won him the cinematography award at the Indian National Film Competition in 2017. His diploma film, Parasite, won the state award in 2016 and was also India's official entry for the BFI London Film Festival. Vinoth Kumar made his cinematography debut with the Tamil-language feature Akkali. He has worked as an assistant cinematographer on landmark films like Maari II, Pattas, Thiruchitrambalam, Naanae Varuven, and Rayan. He has assisted and been associated with more than 70 advertisements with brands like Samsung, Oppo, CSK, Amazon, Saravana stores, Pothys, Joyalukkas, Joselukkas, Bhima Jewellers, Jayachandhiran Textiles, Aachi masala, Mtr masala, and Myntra. As a dop, he worked for Country Delight, Zoriox Innovations, Pixel Factory, Fitkits, Ayushmat Oil, Mahindra Bio-CNG, Mobitech Wireless Solution, and Envisis.Have also cinematographed several documentaries, including Pattukkottai Kalyanasundaram, directed by Parveen Sulthana and Saron, which have been released in several countries and received awards for best documentary of the year. He has most recently worked as a DOP on The Leader, in telugu-language.
