The Bear is about to get more dysfunctional.
FX released a brief trailer for season three on Friday, offering a preview of the chaos to come after Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy opens the new restaurant alongside Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
After opening their now revamped restaurant — they transformed their sandwich shop last season — the trio and team experience tension as they face the pressure of delivering excellent service and dining.
“I’m getting drilled out there,” Moss-Bachrach’s Richie can be seen telling Carmy. The pair are later shown getting in a confrontation. The team will face even more mishaps including food and silverware dropping on the floor, the stove catching on fire and more.
“This is a dysfunctional kitchen,” Sydney says, with both Carmy and Richie responding, “Show me a functional one.”

FX‘s The Bear is keeping the kitchen chaos cooking in the latest Season 3 teaser trailer released by the network. The 40-second preview hints at more tension between “cousins” Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as the popularity of the titular restaurant rises. “Feel good?” Carmy asks fellow chef Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) in the opening seconds, and she echoes back, “You feel good?” As Carmy puts it, we’re “going to see.” It’s Richie who steps into the kitchen to announce, “We’re open.” And what ensues is pure calamity, but what else should fans expect from this ragtag team of Chicago-based culinary experts? FX As previously announced, Season 3 of FX’s The Bear will premiere Thursday, June 27 on Hulu with all 10 episodes streaming the same day. Season 3 continues the story of Carmy, Sydney, and Richie as they elevate the restaurant to the highest level, while also...

The cape was once the kingmaker. But the movie stars at the top of studios’ most-wanted lists today have largely avoided cinematic universes. Instead of being pulled up to the A-list with a call from Marvel or DC (like earlier breakouts Chris Evans, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa), today’s top talents — according to THR’s survey of executives, managers and agents — were anointed by auteur directors. Austin Butler was tapped by Baz Luhrmann for Elvis, while Denis Villeneuve gave nearly a third of this list their first franchise movie with his Dune features.
Today’s young stars are also less formulaic than their predecessors of just a decade ago, whose indie debuts or tiny Oscar turns were quickly followed by IP-backed film series. They are more agnostic, too, moving easily among studio filmmaking, indie efforts and television. Unlike past eras, there’s also not a single “type” dominating the group.

Saturday Night Live wrapped up its 49th season last week with one of its strongest recent episodes, thanks in large part to (third time) host Jake Gyllenhaal. So it’s hardly surprising that the Road House actor’s name is among those that have been submitted for Emmy consideration in the Outstanding Guest Actor In a Comedy Series category. But he’s far from the only recent host whose name is in the mix.
On Tuesday, Variety reported that at least 17 of the 20 individuals who hosted SNL this season have been submitted for Emmy consideration. If that seems like a lot of people competing for the same awards, that’s because it is: it’s the highest number of hosts to submit in the past five years.
Here’s who’s vying for an Emmy for showing off their comedic chops this season: Nate Bargatze, Josh Brolin, Timothée Chalamet, Pete Davidson,...

Ayo Edebiri is calling rumors she was beefing with Jennifer Lopez “absurd” after a clip from a 2020 podcast surfaced in which The Bear star agreed with the host, saying J.Lo’s career was a “scam.”

Ayo Edebiri said during a new Vanity Fair cover story that Jennifer Lopez “was very chill and nice about it” when a potential online controversy threatened to derail their February episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Edebiri, coming off multiple award wins for “The Bear,” was the night’s host and Lopez was the musical guest amid the rollout for her album “This Is Me… Now.”
In the week leading up to the episode, a 2020 episode of the “Scam Goddess” podcast resurfaced on social media and went viral as it featured Edebiri speaking critically of Lopez. Responding to host Laci Mosley’s claim that Lopez’s “whole career is one long scam,” Edebiri responded: “Well, that’s the thing — she thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her. I think she thinks that she’s still good, even though she’s not singing for most of these songs.

While the franchise started losing its appeal as time passed, Disney still found massive success with its Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Johnny Depp deserves much of the credit for that, but Amber Heard's allegations of domestic violence and a series of messy court battles led to Disney scrapping plans for a sixth movie. Depp's Hollywood career was put on hold and the studio went back to the drawing board with the franchise.
It's unclear exactly who is developing the next iteration, though the expectation is that the spotlight will shift to another character in place of the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow.
Talking to Et Online, Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer made it clear that, he at least, is willing to bring Depp back into the fold.
"If it was up to me, of course. I love having Depp," he said. "He's a great actor and good friend.

Pirates of the Caribbean 6 discussions are mostly centered around the potential return of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, despite the producer confirming it as a reboot project. Disney dropped Depp from the role after the actor was accused of domestic violence. However, the producer of the films, Jerry Bruckheimer, always supported the actor and advocated for his return to the role. He once again reiterated his wish during a recent interview.

Christopher Rosen: Hello, Joyce! We’re back to laugh again about this year’s Emmys comedy race. It seems like Season 2 of “The Bear” is so far out in front that it might not even need Season 3 to goose its win potential. We may have had to wait two years for the third season of HBO Max’s “Hacks” to hit our screens but, boy, was it worth it. Ths third edition is a showcase for Jean Smart who plays Deborah Vance, a veteran stand-up experiencing a resurgence in her career. Hannah Einbinder co-stars as Ava Daniels, a comedy writer working to kick-start her career.
The relationship between those two women is at the heart of the show and season three is no different, with the chemistry between Smart and Einbinder reaching new levels. This is, still, however, the Jean Smart show. She aces every moment of comedy, perfectly embodying the Joan Rivers type of comedian that Deborah is. But what elevates the character and Smart’s performance to the next level are the touches of humanity and vulnerability sown into the role.
Critics agree, Smart is turning in career-best work.

With a guest list that totaled 400 bold-faced names, the 2024 Met Gala may rank as the best-attended celebrity event so far this year. But beyond the sheer volume of high-wattage stars who ascended the Metropolitan Museum of Art stairs on May 6, who really won the night’s red carpet in terms of brand exposure?
In the latest edition of the Red Carpet Power Rankings, an exclusive partnership between Launchmetrics and The Hollywood Reporter, the results are in.
It should surprise no one that Zendaya performed well in the rankings of top-five women at the Met Gala, as someone who not only draws intense interest wherever she goes but also because the Euphoria and Challengers star did two laps on the red carpet, first wearing custom Maison Margiela, then changing inside the museum and climbing the steps once again, this time in vintage Givenchy, which she and star stylist Law Roach purchased...

When Quinta Brunson first introduced second grade teacher Janine Teagues in season one of Abbott Elementary, she purposely had the character dress in awkward clothing, from frumpy sweaters paired with chunky belts to long maxi skirts with sneakers. She barely wore makeup and didn’t pay much attention to her hair.
But in season three, as Teagues takes a break from teaching to work at the Philadelphia school district, viewers see her forge ahead: She’s in tailored suits, fitted blazers and heels. She’s stepped up her makeup game and her curls are defined. And the middle part in her hair drives the point home: This is her glow up.
It’s something Brunson has been planning from day one.
“I always wanted this evolution for Janine,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I always joke that [Janine] watched some YouTube videos over the summer. She learned a quick makeup tutorial.

Marvel Studios originally enlisted The Walking Dead and Beef star Steven Yeun to play The Sentry in Thunderbolts*. However, after supposed scheduling conflicts led to the actor leaving the movie, Top Gun: Maverick's Lewis Pullman was quickly enlisted to replace him.
Talking to Josh Horowitz, Pullman refused to confirm whether he's joined the movie (he has) but praised the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"You know, I think the MCU is always something that I've watched and felt like is a beautiful world that is kind of untouchable," he started. "I think there is something about joining that world which is similar to joining television in that whenever somebody joins in, you want it to be as a character you can live in for a long time and an aspect of the world you want to be in."
Horowitz continued pushing Pullman for details, going so far as to show him...

It’s no secret that sequel films typically send people running to movie theater seats. They’re a safe bet for a studio like Walt Disney — if audiences loved an original film, they’re sure to enjoy a new adventure with the same charismatic characters and the addition of some new ones (preferably one that can be turned into profitable theme park plushies). For better or worse, Disney has boarded the sequel train and doesn’t seem to be hopping off anytime soon. For the next solid three years, the studio has multiple sequel projects slated to drop — ranging anywhere between the second and fifth film of a franchise. While it can be nice to revisit fan-favorite universes like ‘Avatar’ and ‘Toy Story,’ there’s also a major demand for Disney to return to their original storytelling roots. Walt Disney himself was incredibly opposed to sequels, saying he always had...

Tickets went on sale for Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 earlier today, and we're now just one month away from watching the long-awaited sequel to the 2015 hit movie. This follow-up will welcome different Emotions to now-teenager Riley's mind, and a newly released clip shows the returning fan favourites getting acquainted with Anxiety.
Earlier this year, director Kelsey Mann promised Anxiety is going to stir things up within headquarters. "Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat. That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds."
Pixar has also shared some new posters for the movie featuring a mix of characters and we'd guess that one final trailer will head our way in the coming weeks.

The theme of Disney’s 2024 upfront presentation to advertisers Tuesday was “connections” — and not just because of the running bit started by “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Rob McElhenney, which involved their constant replaying of a five-second ad spot that said “Connections!” with a Disneyified logo and voiceover.

Pixar director Kelsey Mann pitched “Inside Out 2” (in theaters June 14) as a hostile takeover of Riley’s (Kensington Tallman) emotions during the onslaught of puberty, led by Anxiety (Maya Hawke) and cohorts Envy (Ayo Edebiri), Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos), and Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser).
“What if this version is like them going: ‘[Joy], you’re wonderful, but you need to get out of here,'” Mann said at a recent Pixar press junket. “And so I always pitched it as a takeover movie.” But there’s nothing sinister about Anxiety leading the revolt. Like Joy (Amy Poehler), she merely wants to protect Riley, but believe she’s more qualified to handle her teen angst now that she’s turned 13.
In fact, Mann found it analogous to “All About Eve,” with Anxiety as the emotional ingenue willing at first to support Joy and learn from her. That is, until she realizes that...

After pioneering feature length computer animated features with "Toy Story," Pixar Animation became the gold standard for the medium. But it wasn't just because of the innovative animation style providing a new palette for storytelling. Like the many Walt Disney Animation movies that came in the decades before Pixar rose to prominence, the filmmakers at Pixar had a knack for finding the perfect voices for their characters. Whether it was Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as Woody and Buzz Lightyear or Patton Oswalt as Remy in "Ratatoiulle," Pixar has always let the perfect voices shine in their work, even if they don't come from the biggest stars. That's especially true with "Inside Out."
In "Inside Out," a stellar ensemble came together to voice the core emotions inside the mind of an 11-year old girl named Riley. Amy Poehler delivered boundless exuberance and enthusiasm as Joy, Phyllis Smith brought an adorable melancholy to Sadness,...

Theater Camp director Molly Gordon is on board to helm Small Parts, a reimagining for Searchlight Pictures of Outrageous Fortune, which starred Bette Midler and Shelley Long as rivals.
Gordon, who also stars in The Bear, and co-writer Allie Levitan will do a new take on the 1987 comedy directed by Arther Hiller. Is Disney about to have its own “Before” series? Just as Richard Linklater’s day-in-the-life romances touch in on the lives of Celine and Jesse at different points in their lives, Amy Poehler would like to see the “Inside Out” sequels explore main character Riley’s emotions at different stages in her aging.
“I just think that they should make these films like ‘Seven Up,’ every couple of years in Riley’s life,” she said in an interview with Empire. “A young adult, and a young mother, and I think a middle-aged person — everyone’s having these very distinct new emotions that are showing up all the time.”
Speaking to IndieWire last month for a sneak peek of “Inside Out 2,” the film’s director Kelsey Mann echoed that idea of “new emotions showing up” being central to how he looked at this new chapter.

The sequel to the Oscar-winning 2015 film, Inside Out 2 is coming to theaters on June 14, 2024, as we have reported earlier. The first film became a beloved hit and although it took Disney some time, the sequel is very close to its premiere and fans are eagerly awaiting to see the new story with a larger plethora of emotions. As we know, most of the characters from the first film – including the main emotions – are coming back, and will be joined by numerous other characters who will make their debut in the sequel. But, there is one burning question that has been bugging fans for some time – could Bing Bong be coming back for the sequel?
As you might remember, Bing Bong’s story was one of the saddest moments of the first film, in which the character supposedly died. Now, Disney is not really known for killing off characters in such a way,...

Cameras are still rolling on Thunderbolts* in Atlanta, and while we're hoping some revealing set photos are imminent (a first look at The Sentry would be nice), JustJared.com has just shared a couple of new hi-res shots of Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes.
The former Winter Soldier once again has long hair and is rocking a goatee which, while by no means a drastic change, has generated plenty of discussion among fans on social media.
Look closely and you'll spot a crew member carrying a glove Stan will wear to portray Bucky's cybernetic arm! Having a suit on means he doesn't have to don a full sleeve, something we're sure the actor is grateful for. We also see Geraldine Viswanathan's mystery character.
As for what Bucky is up to, we've done some digging, and it sounds like he's attending a court hearing. Interestingly, Julia Louis-Dreyfus's CIA Director...

Thunderbolts* remains one of Marvel Studios' most mysterious and intriguing upcoming movies, with that asterisk only serving to heighten anticipation for a project many believe is secretly Dark Avengers.
There are perhaps a few too many heroes on the team for that to happen, with it currently looking a lot like a sequel to Black Widow and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
In the latter, Bucky Barnes was fully freed from his Winter Soldier programming and now seems to be working with the CIA as part of this government-approved team. Rumour has it his role in Thunderbolts* isn't massive, leading to concerns this could be where the hero's story ends.
We'll see, but a new set photo has surfaced today showcasing Bucky's overhauled appearance.
He's not suited up but is wearing a traditional suit and rocking a pretty mean goatee. Is he undercover or just shaking up his appearance?...

Has there even been a show more apt for the phrase ‘let him cook’ than The Bear? Probably not – and there’s good news, since Carmy (aka Jeremy Allen White) is about to serve up even more televisual excellence in the upcoming Season 3, heading back into the kitchen with Ayo Edebiri’s Syd and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Richie and more for another batch of beautiful, stressful, cathartic calamity. The first teaser has dropped for the new season, and while it doesn’t reveal much (it’s more vibes than plot), it does unveil that the new episodes will drop on 27 June. That’s just around the “Corner!” Give the trailer a watch:

The Bear season 3 will return to our screens on the 27th June with all episodes dropping at once. More on the third season below.
The Bear, Christopher Storer’s popular kitchen drama, has had us shouting “Yes, chef! and “Behind!” since its first season debuted in 2022. Starring Jeremy Allen White, the series follows his fine dining chef Carmy who returns to Chicago to run his late brother’s sandwich shop which has now been transformed into the titular restaurant.
We now have confirmation that the highly anticipated season 3 will debut on Disney+ in the UK and on Hulu in the US on the 27th June. All 10 episodes will drop at once, for your binge watching pleasure.
