Buckle up because this video series takes us way back -- okay, maybe not way back, but it does take us back a few years before the plot of The Terminal List.
Here's everything we know about the upcoming prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
How did The Terminal List Season 1 end?
The end of The Terminal List Season 1 offered a plot twist, a sad death, and left out some important information seen in Jack Carr's novel of the same name.
Night Agent Season 2: Everything We Know
As it turns out, James Reece's best friend, Ben Edwards, is at the center of the conspiracy that Reece is determined to dismantle, and therefore, Edwards' name is added to Reece's list of people to be killed.

The Chris Pratt-starring action thriller The Terminal List could be returning as the actor is said to be in negotiations with Amazon Prime Video for a second season. Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by former Navy Seal Jack Carr, The Terminal List follows Lieutenant Commander James Reece (Pratt), a Navy Seal seeking to avenge the murder of his family. The series — which also stars Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, and Jeanne Tripplehorn — premiered on July 1, 2022. In a recent interview with the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Carr, who serves as an executive producer on the show, revealed that there are plans for a second season. “Chris wants to do it, and Amazon wants to do it. But it could all fall apart,” he said. “It would be an eight-part series based on the second book True Believer. We shall see.” Carr also noted...

"There was a reason the Department of Defense didn't give us support for this," David Digilio told us in a recent interview.
The Department of Defense is not a fan of author Jack Carr's series of novels about Navy Seal James Reece, who is played by Chris Pratt in the Prime Video adaptation. Digilio, who serves as the showrunner of that series, didn't want to stray away from the criticisms of broken chains of command and bad decision-making. About midway through “The Terminal List,” Chris Pratt gives the speech. You know the speech. It pops up in military action movies or shows when the enlisted hero has to explain why he does what he does. Typically, it sounds a lot like Jack Nicholson in “A Few Good Men” — “You want me on that wall, you need me on that wall” — only without the villainous underpinnings. More honorable speeches echo Eric Bana in “Black Hawk Down,” or Mark Wahlberg in “Lone Survivor.” But Pratt is giving the pissed-off version, taking Col. Nathan R. Jessup’s righteous fury and applying it to another popular genre trope: the rogue mission.
“You know downrange, what they like to say is that what we do is for freedom,” Pratt, playing Navy Seal Commander James Reece, says. “But what it really is, there’s evil in this world. It’s our job to look...

Chris Pratt stars in and executive produces the new Prime Video series “The Terminal List,” about Navy Seal James Reece (Pratt) who starts suspecting something complex and sinister was behind his entire platoon being ambushed during a mission. It marks the Marvel star’s first time as one of the bosses on a television series.
Although the shoots on the show based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel were long, and for much of the cast playing members of the military physically taxing, the cast had nothing but praise for their co-star and EP.
“What you see is what you get in terms of his great attitude and his enthusiasm,” Jeanne Tripplehorn, who plays Defense Secretary Lorraine Hartley in the series, told TheWrap.
Tripplehorn, whose character interacts with Reece as he starts following up on his hunch, said there was a few-month period where she didn’t see Pratt as he filmed more intense material.

Chris Pratt stars in “The Terminal List” — Amazon’s latest offering to the “Jack Ryan” crowd — as a traumatized Navy Seal with nothing left to live for… other than the fact that there are four more installments in the Jack Carr book series the show is based on.
Pratt is also an executive producer on the eight-episode drama (along with director Antoine Fuqua and showrunner David Digilio) which follows Lt. Commander James Reece (Pratt) on a journey of revenge. He was leading his platoon on a mission that was based on bad intel, and lost most of his men to an ambush. Most of the guys who made it back then killed themselves, and when Reece’s family gets caught up in the fallout, he becomes convinced that he’s a victim of a massive government conspiracy. Two is the magic number when it comes to Prime Video’s list of new releases for July 2022. While Amazon’s streamer is bringing many library titles to the mix this month, it has two original TV shows and two original movies of note.
Prime Video kicks off the month with The Terminal List on July 1. Though everything about that name screams “Movie” to me for some reason, the Chris Pratt-starring action property is actually a series. Pratt will portray James Reece, a Navy Seal who returns home after his team is ambushed on a covert mission only to discover that the threat might still persist. Then Prime Video closes out the month with Paper Girls on July 29. This adaptation of a Brian K. Vaughan comic is a sci-fi yarn about a group of young paper delivery girls confronting a temporal anomaly.

Hold on tight. In his new Amazon series “The Terminal List,” actor Chris Pratt is built like a brick wall, and has about half as much charisma. His character, James Reece, is on a Charles Bronson-esque mission of revenge against the forces that ambushed his Navy Seal platoon in the field and, back home, irrevocably altered his family life. Dead-eyed and flat-mouthed, Reece guts adversaries with an axe and orders them to walk, watching as they stumble; or axes them in the head; or handcuffs their families and strands them in a rising tide, or…

Your basic weekend BBQ griller might just grab the nearest package of ground beef at the grocery store, but somebody with high culinary aspirations obsesses over proportions. Though the true experts might tinker with cuts of meat in different combinations, a good starting position is with fat percentages. An amateur thinks, “Less fat is more meat and therefore must be better,” while the expert knows that fat equals juiciness and unless you enjoy a dry, beefy burger — and some do — the key is finding the right ratio.
Chris Pratt has been figuratively (and literally) fiddling with his professional fat percentages for over a decade as he’s been making the career transition from likable TV comic foil with unexpectedly strong bone structure to increasingly generic leading man. Early on in Prime Video’s The Terminal List, Chris Pratt’s Navy Seal character James Reece is described as someone who’s “built to take a kick to the head.” Those words could easily describe this series, too — although maybe it’s taken a few too many kicks to the head already. A brutally violent and deadly serious military drama-slash-revenge thriller, The Terminal List (premiering this Friday; I’ve seen the first three episodes) is like The Fugitive meets Seal Team meets a “Don’t Tread on Me” truck decal, with all of the delicacy and nuance that implies.
