‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston, though not very active on Instagram, recently offered her followers a glimpse into her busy life. The actress took to her Instagram and shared a carousel of images, including a selfie where she pouted her lips in a car, reports ‘People’ magazine.
Jennifer displayed her grown-out lob hairstyle, which she sported for much of the awards season in support of her series ‘The Morning Show’ this year.
According to ‘People’, several other photos in the carousel featured two of her three dogs, Lord Chesterfield and Clyde, lounging around and giving her some puppy-dog eyes.
Another shot captured Jennifer during a workout session at Pvolve — the celebrity-endorsed workout brand she previously partnered with — posing for a mirror selfie with the company’s director of training, Dani Coleman.
In other images, the actress was seen with friends, including TV writer Molly McNearney (wife of Jimmy Kimmel and producer...

Through 96 years of auspicious Oscar ceremonies, the event has often witnessed one major contender becoming the punching bag for critical backlash on social media. In 2017, that dubious honor fell to La La Land, after the shocking moment where presenters Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty mixed up the musical with Moonlight, and announced it as Best Picture winner.
Christopher Nolan on Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Eventually, La La Land not only lost the Oscar for Best Picture but also witnessed a segment of moviegoers shifting from swooning over the film to loathing it. But one person who was unfazed by the Oscars’ mix-up and public comments, was legendary filmmaker Christopher Nolan. Making an exception of watching Damien Chazelle’s Best Picture nominee, three or four times in cinemas, Nolan expressed his love for the film.

From the panicked voiceover conversation that plays over a black screen in the first moments of “Things Will Be Different,” it’s clear that Sydney (Riley Dandy) and Joseph (Adam Thompson) are in some serious trouble. After pulling off a lucrative robbery by the skin of their teeth, the two siblings can almost feel the grains of sand slipping through their hourglasses as the sounds of police sirens grow closer. With the world closing in around them, the only things working in their favor are the massive bag of cash in her hand and the fact that he thinks they can time travel their way to freedom.
Through his various criminal dealings that remain unexplained, Joseph has negotiated access to a safe house that can shield its inhabitants from the laws of time and space. It might look like a simple farmhouse far removed from civilization, but that’s exactly...

When showrunner Michelle Paradise and co-creator Alex Kurtzman sat down to begin planning what would ultimately become the final season of “Star Trek: Discovery” they had one big goal: “Bigger and bolder,” of course, Paradise said.
They didn’t originally know the program would be coming to an end, but they still wanted to take some big swings when it came to keeping the story fresh for Season 5 — and that means compelling villains.
“They’re kind of like the Bonnie and Clyde of the ‘Star Trek’ universe,” Kurtzman said to IndieWire about the new baddies that fans will meet in the premiere episode. “But like all great villains, they have a sympathetic story. You know the old adage: The villain is the hero of their own story. That’s very true for them, and I think ultimately you’ll love them as much as you’ll see them as the villain.

Starcrossed lovers have been popular since Shakespeare's day, and Days of Our Lives offers many.
They even had Ben and Ciara play Romeo and Juliet once (something most fans would like to forget!) Now, it's Tate and Holly's turn, and fortunately, it'll be the usual soap opera trope and not another re-rendition of the play.
According to spoilers for Days of Our Lives during the week of 3-11-24, Tate'll sneak into Holly's room... and as you might guess, Ej isn't too happy about it.
Tate's determined to get Holly to remember that he didn't give her the drugs.
He refused to take a guilty plea and is supposed to be in a halfway house while he awaits trial -- does he escape to talk to Holly in person?
That would be a terrible idea.
But fictional teenagers are prone to stupid, life-changing decisions, especially on soap operas. (See also...

Priscilla Presley matured quickly in her relationship with Elvis. She began dating him as a ninth grader, and by the time she graduated high school, she saw her identity at home as incongruous with her identity at school. She felt very adult with Elvis and began thinking of the two of them as Bonnie and Clyde. Here’s why.
Priscilla Presley said she felt like Bonnie and Clyde with Elvis
Priscilla’s life with Elvis made her feel like she had two identities. In one, she was a high school student. In the other, she was the glamorous and jet-setting girlfriend of an internationally celebrated musician.
“I was leading a double life — a schoolgirl by day, a femme fatale by night,” she wrote in her book Elvis and Me. “Our evening appearance downstairs usually resembled a grand entrance. Even when our only intention was to have dinner, we always dressed for the occasion.

“The impertinence!” scream the courtiers of Louis Xv when his newly recruited mistress, Countess Jeanne du Barry, has the audacity to look him in the eye. It is just the latest in a long line of taboo-breaking outrages that surround the affair between the king and the commoner: She doesn’t have a title! She turns her back on him! She dresses like a man! For this reason alone, it’s easy to see why Maïwenn, one of France’s more controversial directors, saw fit to topline herself with Johnny Depp in a film that’s entirely about class and status and whose leading characters are bent on committing reputational suicide.
Jeanne du Barry also flexes the specifically French cultural views surrounding the topic of sexual impropriety. While the Cannes Film Festival continues to appear to be wilfully deaf to the topic of cancel culture, Maïwenn’s latest feature — which...

Actor Adrianne Palicki is one of that select group of actors who has had a foot in both the Marvel and DC universes onscreen. While her DC adventures did not work out so well – she played the title character in an unsold Wonder Woman pilot for NBC and appeared as a villain in an (also unsold) Aquaman pilot for The CW – her time with Marvel was more successful.
Palicki played agent Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird, for most of two seasons on Marvel’s ABC-tv series Agents of Shield, appearing in 31 episodes between 2014 and 2016 alongside team partner and ex-husband Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). Morse and Hunter were such a popular part of the ensemble that Marvel TV decided to spin them off at the end of Season 3 into their own series.

There are some smart and even provocative ideas motivating Nicola B. Marsh’s four-part Showtime docuseries The 12th Victim, which aims to separate and rehabilitate Caril Ann Fugate from the legacy of notorious spree killer Charles Starkweather, whom she accompanied — whether willingly or unwillingly is the matter up for debate — on a multi-state rampage that left 11 people dead in 1958.
Fugate, still alive and now living in Michigan, has spent decades trying first to appeal her conviction, then for parole and finally for a full pardon. The 12th Victim, which features Oscar winner Morgan Neville among its producers, focuses less on clearing Fugate’s name in a legal sense and more on clearing her name in a cultural sense. The documentary targets the true crime genre and the way Hollywood’s mythologizing of society’s darkest and most unspeakable elements can become a proxy for the truth. This is especially true...

It was an eventful week in Salem.
On Days of Our Lives during the week of 8-08-22, Chad accused Leo of murdering Abigail just as Clyde realized who had given him that stolen jewelry, while elsewhere, Nicole worried about Eric dating Jada and Rolf gave in to Li Shin's demands to keep Stefan in a coma.
Our TV Fanatic Jack is joined by Kpatch, LumiForeverAndAlways, and Tony from MyHourglass: A Days of Our Lives Fan Forum to debate who Eric should be with, whether Leo killed Abigail, and who was written most out of character. Read on!
Eric went on a date with Jada and seemed interested in another. Do you think this relationship has potential, or would you rather Eric and Nicole reunite?
Kpatch: I don't want Eric and Nicole to reunite. They tried and failed multiple times.

Each week we highlight the noteworthy titles that have recently hit streaming platforms in the United States. Check out this week’s selections below and past round-ups here.
Elvis (Baz Luhrmann)
Few filmmakers embrace artistic dichotomy like Baz Luhrmann. The Australian writer-director known for epic, ornate, long-gestating projects has become synonymous with both extravagant innovation and chaotic fluff. He is a walking, talking, directing state of creative contrast. “Six films into his career” might make it seem like he’s a relative newcomer, but Luhrmann’s been helming giant features since his 1996 tropical Ed Hardy rendition of Romeo + Juliet, which pales in scintillation to Elvis. – Luke H. (full review)
Where to Stream: VOD
I Love My Dad (James Morosini)
Inspired by actual events, I Love My Dad contains a cringe-worthy premise that should easily fall apart, as Franklin (James Morosini), a young-ish man, should have grown up with an awareness of the term “catfishing.

Roswell, New Mexico's favorite doctor has had a hell of a season.
While Kyle Valenti continues to be an integral part of this final season, his portrayer, Michael Trevino, traded in his stethoscope for a director's chair as he got behind the camera to helm Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 9.
It's a twisty hour that takes viewers into a mindscape that looks much more like an episode of Gunsmoke than Roswell. We asked Michael about the hour and the differences between acting and directing. We also had to sneak in a Kybel question for all you shippers!
Michael is always a pleasure to speak with, and it's always a good time talking to him about Roswell. Enjoy!
What did you think when you got the script and were like, this is going to be my episode because it's unlike anything we've seen on Roswell?
The initial reaction was that I...

After disappearing from the canvas for at least a couple of weeks, Abe and Paulina are getting married!
That means Abe is sufficiently healed from being hit over the head, and just as importantly, Paulina is out of jail.
But will these two make it down the aisle on Days of Our Lives during the week of 6-20-22? We certainly hope so. After all the sadness surrounding Abigail's death, we need some happiness!
It would be easier to be excited about this if Abe and Paulina hadn't disappeared for the last several weeks.
Days of Our Lives wants their wedding to be part of a Juneteenth commemoration, which is admirable, but it feels like it came out of nowhere.

Last we heard, Paulina was stuck in jail, and Abe had recently gotten out of the hospital.

Annecy’s official short film competition is one of the festival’s centerpieces. Many years, at least one ends up snagging an Oscar nomination. Every year, Variety watches the shorts in Annecy’s main competition selection and picks 10 of our favorites. We’re not saying these are the best 10 shorts this year, though four won prizes, but we believe each brings something that shouldn’t be missed.
“Anxious Body,”
Screening at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, Mizushiri’s fourth short and the first project co-produced by Japanese New Deer and France’s Miyu Productions. Employing Mizushiri’s hallmark focus on the senses, non-plot stories and geometric landscapes, a film about touch – “something very hard to do in animation basically because of the lack of a real body on screen,” Annecy Festival Artistic Director Marcel Jean commented. Have you caught your breath after That ending?
Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 2 ended with a shocking twist! And it's a twist that will directly impact Michael Guerin, played to perfection by series regular Michael Vlamis.
Catching up with Michael is always so much fun, and we spent the early part of the interview discussing his next movie, Crossword, which he directed, wrote, and starred in! Make sure to follow his socials to keep abreast of news about this exciting project! Seriously, the movie sounds incredible.
The man is a machine, but we were lucky enough to pick his brain about all things Malex, what impact he hopes the role of Michel Guerin will leave on viewers, and he even let us know which of his castmates kills it at Super Smash Brothers. Check out the interview below!

What. In. The. Hell.
No, seriously, guys. Are we supposed to just go on and pretend like we didn't see what we just saw at the end of Roswell, New Mexico Season 4 Episode 2? Because, quite frankly, that seems like an impossible task.
Even though this season has already seen an intergalactic storm, this hour felt like the calm before the narrative storm poised to come our way. Because things just got Very real.
It's tough to dive into our hour like this and not start at the end.
So, I'm going to get right into it and talk about the fact that the second episode of the final season ends with Alexander Manes getting sucked into the Earth, thanks to the new alien and my archnemesis Tezca.
When they took the time to show Alex leaving town, it became abundantly clear that something was going to happen. Couple that with the locust splattering,...

Fritz Lang continues his take-no-prisoners indictment of America’s curious relationship with crime; this time he presents the thesis that an innocent man can be a pawn in cosmic game of injustice. Three-time loser Henry Fonda, the glummest actor in ’30s films, doesn’t mean to rob or kill, but gosh darn it, They Made Him a Criminal. Those considerations aside, it’s a wonderful cinematic achievement, made all the better by a decent digital restoration.

Will Neal take the treasure and run? That’s the question at the center of White Collar‘s current season (airing on USA Network, Tuesdays at 9/8c). But the bigger question is: Will TV’s best bromance ever be able to gain back the trust?
It may be difficult to repair the damage from the tense cat-and-mouse game Peter (played by Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) have been playing, but DeKay feels confident the two will work it. After all, these guys “love each other,” he points out. But that doesn’t mean G-man Peter can skirt his FBI...
