A few months back, speculation buzzed about the continuation of Mando’s adventures in a feature film. Season 3 concluded with Moff Gideon apparently vanquished and Mando embracing Grogu as his ward and son, Din Grogu. Their apparent tranquility hints at the emergence of a new threat for Season 4.
Jon Favreau, the mastermind behind ‘The Mandalorian’ TV series, asserted that the script for Season 4 was already complete even before Season 3 concluded. However, recent indications suggest that the fourth season might not materialize after all.
Recently, confirmation emerged about an upcoming film centered on Mandalorian & Grogu. Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Dave Filoni, this new project is set to commence filming in 2024.
While details about the movie remain scarce, industry insider Jeff Sneider suggests that Sigourney Weaver is in discussions to join the cast, though her role remains undisclosed at this time.

The rumors that Mando’s adventures will continue as a movie were relevant several months ago. Season 3 wrapped up with Moff Gideon seemingly defeated for good and Mando officially adopting Grogu, making him his little apprentice and his son, Din Grogu. They seemed to find peace, which means a completely new threat ought to emerge for Season 4 to happen.
Jon Favreau – the creator of ‘The Mandalorian‘ TV series – claimed that the script for ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 4 was finished even before Season 3 officially ended, and now it seems that the fourth season might not even happen after all.
Some time ago it was confirmed that a movie focusing on Mandalorian & Grogu is in development. his new movie, directed by Jon Favreau and produced alongside Kathleen Kennedy and Dave Filoni, is scheduled to begin production in 2024.
Little is known about the movie except for the main cast, but if industry insider Jeff Sneider is to be believed,...

Ezra Bridger is one of the best characters "Star Wars" has introduced in the last decade. Like any classic "Star Wars" protagonist, he starts out cocky and comes from little, but grows to become a confident and competent key figure in the fight against evil.
What makes Ezra different than Luke, Rey, or Ahsoka is how playful he is. Ezra is more likely to quip and make fun of his opponents in the middle of a fight than to whine about power converters. Quite a big amount of Ezra's screentime in the fantastic "Star Wars Rebels" is spent with him pretending to be other people for laughs, whether it's Jabba the Hutt or Lando Calrissian.
Yet Ezra is also capable of getting serious when the situation demands it, showing great feats of strength in the process. One of the best moments of the live-action "Ahsoka" was when Ezra fought against...

The apprentice has become the master... and unlike the Sith, he didn't have to stab him in the back with his lightsaber to do so! Yes, nearly 20 years after George Lucas recruited a humble storyboard artist and animation assistant director by the name of Dave Filoni to work with him at the newly launched Lucasfilm Animation, Filoni has now been named the chief creative officer at Lucasfilm. And if you were expecting him to just sit around on his hands after almost five years without a new "Star Wars" movie, well, guess again.
As part of today's announcement that Filoni's fellow "The Mandalorian" executive producer Jon Favreau is helming a film spinoff titled "The Mandalorian & Grogu," the official Star Wars website has confirmed that Filoni is "currently developing" a second season of his "Mandalorian" spinoff series "Ahsoka." “Ahsoka” Season 2 is in development with creator Dave Filoni, Lucasfilm has confirmed.
The news came with the reveal of the new “Star Wars” film “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” directed by Jon Favreau, which was unveiled Tuesday morning.
“‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ will lead Lucasfilm’s ongoing feature-development slate, including films helmed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who is also currently developing ‘Ahsoka’ Season 2, among those in the works,” the announcement said.
“Ahsoka,” which aired its Season 1 finale on Oct. 3, starred Rosario Dawson as the fan-favorite Jedi, who’s trying to save the galaxy from Grand Admiral Thrawn, a new threat after the fall of the Galactic Empire. Dawson first brought Ahsoka Tano to live-action in “The Mandalorian” Season 2 and also appeared on “The Book of Boba Fett.”

Ahsoka star Eman Esfandi called his own shot.
When Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano first appeared in live-action on The Mandalorian season two and voiced her intention to find the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), Ezra Bridger’s own jump to live-action immediately became a near-inevitability for die-hard Star Wars fans. The already-great odds increased even more when Dawson’s spinoff series, Ahsoka, was announced shortly thereafter in December 2020, with longtime Star Wars creator and George Lucas apprentice Dave Filoni at the helm. This meant that Filoni would likely introduce not only Ezra and Thrawn into the live-action fold, but also plenty more of his beloved animated characters from the likes of Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
As a result, the role of the long-lost Jedi, Ezra, became one of the most coveted parts in town, and six months before the casting process even started,...

Ezra Bridger actor Eman Esfandi just admitted he purposefully avoided watching all of Star Wars: Rebels ahead of his time filming Ahsoka.
The latest Star Wars Disney+ series brought a ton of characters from the animated Rebels show into live-action for the first time—meaning, every one of them had a legacy to keep in mind.
Thankfully, actors Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo have both been very vocal about having done their research before tackling the characters of Ahsoka and Sabine. Even Mary Elizabeth Winstead confirmed she watched all of Hera’s previous appearances before becoming the fan-favorite Star Wars general.

The following article contains spoilers for "Ahsoka."
Getting to see a live-action version of the "Star Wars Rebels" character Sabine Wren was pretty cool. Whatever your feelings about the series, Natasha Liu Bordizzo absolutely captured the animated character from "Rebels" voiced by Tiya Sircar. In the Disney+ live-action "Ahsoka," we learned that Sabine had begun training as a Jedi with Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) before the events of the series. However, it wasn't working out and they'd parted ways. As the show begins, Ahsoka needs Sabine's help, and their training starts up again. Sabine is still struggling with frustration about her powers, and where she fits in the universe now. Add in the fact that she's missing her friend Ezra (Eman Esfandi) who is missing along with Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and you have a recipe for some personality clashes.

This Star Wars: Ahsoka article contains spoilers.
Ahsoka made waves in the Star Wars universe by taking us further than any other canon project has gone before – an entirely new galaxy. Continuing the story of Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka follows former Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) as they try to find Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), who went missing with Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelson) in the Rebels series finale. The search leads both heroes and villains to Peridia, a planet beyond the galaxy far, far away in the third act of the series. It’s the first time Star Wars has traveled beyond the franchise’s major galactic setting onscreen and, according to series creator Dave Filoni, there was a clear reason why it had to happen in Ahsoka.

Eman Esfandi, the man behind Ezra Bridger in Lucasfilm's Disney+ series Ahsoka, just commented on his role for the first since his Star Wars debut.
The arrival of Ezra in the Rosario Dawson-led show was one of the most anticipated moments in Ahsoka's entire run, right next to the arrival of Lars Mikkelsen's Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Sadly, because of the SAG-AFTRA strike, actors haven't been able to publicly comment on any of their work currently being released.

Ezra Bridger actor Eman Esfandi had the perfect social media reaction after his performance in Ahsoka's finale.
From fighting alongside Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren against Grand Admiral Thrawn's forces to creating a new lightsaber that even has a connection to Kanan Jarrus, Ahsoka Episode 8 showcased several memorable moments featuring Ezra.
Although the finale ended with Ahsoka and Sabine stranded in Peridea, the fact that Ezra got home and reunited with Hera and Chopper is still a win for Star Wars Rebels fans.

While "Star Wars" animation fans like myself will probably always be haunted wondering what might have been had "Ahsoka" been the animated "Star Wars Rebels" sequel series we always longed for, the first season of the live-action continuation we got has left the story of Ahsoka Tano in a decidedly interesting place. Picking things up from "The Mandalorian," the show has Anakin Skywalker's former Padawan (Rosario Dawson) reunite with her estranged pupil, Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), to continue their hunt for Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), in the hopes of both preventing him returning to reunite the scattered remnants of the Galactic Empire and recovering their lost friend Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi). Their subsequent adventure takes them to a completely different galaxy far, far away, bringing the pair face-to-face with fallen Jedi, Dathomirian witches, a graveyard of purrgil or "star whale" bones, and even zombie troopers.

Every "Star Wars" project goes through the same cycle. At first, there is intense hatred when it comes out, with people nitpicking every single thing and criticizing it for being a betrayal of George Lucas' original intention. Then, time passes and the projects are reinterpreted with greater context and some of the more criticized elements become assets. Then the next thing comes along and fans complain it is not like the previous thing they loved ... even if they started out hating it.
When it comes to "Rebels," every single aspect of the show was excruciatingly examined and criticized, mostly for being different from "Clone Wars" in terms of its art style, kid-friendly humor, and lack of familiar characters like Ahsoka and the clones. But one of the more common (and ridiculous) criticisms was purely an aesthetic one — the girth of the lightsabers.

Spoiler Alert: This story discusses major plot developments in the Season 1 finale of “Ahsoka,” currently streaming on Disney+.
There’s a brief moment in the penultimate episode of Season 1 of “Ahsoka” when characters from at least four different eras of “Star Wars” occupy the same scene. The most recent character is Capt. Presiding over it all is Chancellor Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly), who has occupied three different eras of “Star Wars” on her own. Warning: This article discusses major spoilers for the "Ahsoka" season 1 finale.
Even as far back as when "Ahsoka" was first announced and it became more and more apparent that this new show would act as a sequel to "Star Wars Rebels," I've had one obvious question burning at the forefront of my mind: Why make this into a live-action series, rather than another animated one? After all, fans first fell head-over-heels in love with heroes like Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine, Hera, and Kanan because of their distinctive and wonderfully expressive character designs, their pitch-perfect voice actors, and the grand adventures they experienced together within a medium that allowed for endless amounts of creativity and imagination. To strip such core traits away from these Rebels, recast (most of) them with a bunch of lookalikes, and drop them in unfamiliar and jarring live-action environments is to misunderstand what made them so appealing in the first place.

The moment I was sure I did not like "Ahsoka" came when Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) finally reunites with Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) in episode six. The season had been building to this major moment; Sabine had traveled so far, made so many complicated decisions and promises, and believed for so long that Ezra was still out there, alive. Ezra was her only family left, she'd said. So seeing him again is the only thing that matters.
And then when she finally finds him. . . they share a tepid hug. That's it. Ezra says he's surprised she found him, but zero surprise is evident from the way he actually says that. When he starts to ask how she did it - crucially lacking any astonishment or confusion or real emotion accompanying the question - she says, "I just want to be happy that I found you.

A lot transpires in the season 1 finale of "Ahsoka," which ends with a long-awaited homecoming, mingled with the ominous promise of a frightening masterplan in motion. Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) find a way to strengthen their bond while making sure that Ezra (Eman Esfandi) finally returns home, although they're unable to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) from escaping to Dathomir. There are questions that still need answering, including the reason why Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) abandoned his padawan and chose to walk away in the heat of battle, only to appear standing on top of a pair of statues that resemble the Argonath from "The Lord of the Rings." While Baylan's motivations were shrouded in mystery from the get-go, the appearance of these statues makes matters more convoluted.

The first season of “Ahsoka” wrapped on Tuesday night with enough cliffhangers for another season … and/or a “Star Wars” movie (more on that later).
At the end of Episode 7, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) had finally reunited with Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) on Peridea. While Sabine’s primary goal was to reunite with Ezra, Ahsoka remained focused on stopping Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) from returning from exile.

This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: Ahsoka" episode 8 — "The Jedi, The Witch, and the Warlord." As Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) makes his final preparations to return to his own galaxy, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), and Huyang (David Tennant) do their best to stop him. Thrawn, being a far superior tactician, is able to place obstacle after obstacle in their way so that they cannot impede his return. Those obstacles start in the form of Thrawn's Night Troopers, reanimated back from the dead by the magick of the Great Mothers of Dathomir, and culminate in Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), who has been imbued with the power of Dathomir and given the fabled blade of Talzin.

Spoiler Alert: This recap contains spoilers from the Season 1 finale of Disney+/Lucasfilm’s Ahsoka, directed by Rick Famuyiwa and written by Dave Filoni.
Heading into tonight’s Season 1 finale of Ahsoka, fans knew we were flying to a cliffhanger; that Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) would make the jump to hyperspace via the space loop while some portion of Ahsoka and friends would be left behind without a prayer in the midst of the green tundra tumbleweeds of Peridea in a galaxy far, far away.
What didn’t happen in this episode were any major cameos from Star Wars canon dramatis personae of yore, i.e., Princess Leia or Luke Skywalker or Boba Fett or Baby Yoda. No, we got our fill of that with C-3Po in the last episode, when he appeared to defend Hera’s rogue mission before the snarky Galactic council.
Where do we go from here?...

Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for the season finale of “Ahsoka,” titled “The Jedi, the Witch and the Warlord,” now streaming on Disney+.
With the finale of “Ahsoka,” the latest chapter of the “Star Wars” TV universe has come to a close, and for fans of “Clone Wars” and “Star Wars Rebels,” it gives some big moments that have been years in the making.
The season finale, titled “The Jedi, the Witch and the Warlord,” ends on a bittersweet note, with Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) escaping into space, while Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) are stranded on the planet Peridea. On one hopeful note, Ezra (Eman Esfandi) is back with his crewmate Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) for the first time since he disappeared in the “Rebels” series finale.

This Star Wars: Ahsoka article contains spoilers.
The end of Ahsoka season 1 is near, and Thrawn’s (Lars Mikkelson) ascendance feels more imminent than ever. Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) are finally reunited after nearly a decade, but will they be able to stop Thrawn and still make it home themselves? The Grand Admiral always seems to be a step ahead, but Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and Shin Hati’s (Ivanna Sakhno) separation may not have been something he predicted, even with the foresight of the Great Mothers on his side.
The fate of two galaxies hangs in the balance as we approach the season finale. Here’s everything you need to know before watching episode 8 of Ahsoka.

The Lucasfilm Disney+ series Ahsoka made a couple of changes to Ezra Bridger for his recent debut.
Ever since Ahsoka started up, the quest to find Eman Esfandi’s Ezra was on. The fated moment finally occurred in the show’s sixth episode, but he only spent a few brief moments on camera.
It was episode seven that really gave fans a proper look at this new and improved Ezra. Needless to say, he’s not quite the same young hopeful Jedi he was at the end of Star Wars Rebels.

Eman Esfandi's Ezra Bridger was introduced for the first time in live-action in Episode 6 of Ahsoka, but in Episode 7 of the Disney+ show, the character showed off one of his new Force abilities.
Ahsoka has been full of surprises and twists each week as new episodes have been released on Disney+.
Some characters have even been given new Force powers that they haven't previously possessed, such as Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano. For example, in Episodes 2 and 5, she was able to use psychometry to help her figure out exactly what had happened to Natasha Liu Bordizzo's Sabine Wren.

Ahsoka Episode 7
“Dreams and Madness,” Ahsoka season 1’s penultimate episode, looks great on paper but falls short in execution. We get to spend more time with Ezra and Sabine, we get to see Thrawn exert his tactical dominance from his war room on Peridea, there’s a frantic space chase inside a Purrgil graveyard, and we’re even treated to a lengthy cameo by C-3Po. So why does the episode fall a little flat?
It’s not that there’s one big issue that tanks the entire episode. Rather, it’s an accumulation of little creative decisions that don’t hit the mark. Take C-3Po saving Hera and Teva’s asses in the courtroom, for example. It’s fun to see him put Senator Xiono in his place and clear Hera’s name on Leia’s behalf, but as a courtroom scene,...

This post contains spoilers for episode 7 of "Ahsoka," "Dreams and Madness."
"A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack," Master Yoda advises a young Luke Skywalker in "The Empire Strikes Back." This line seems to be the foundation for the reason why the Jedi do not use the Force to fight as often as they can, and rely on their trusty lightsabers to do the job instead. However, during exceptional circumstances, some Jedi (and Sith) have relied upon a somewhat unique hand-to-hand force combat style to ward off foes. In the latest episode of "Ahsoka," Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) uses a similar combat style, relying solely on the Force to fend off an attack on his Noti friends, while Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) promptly takes the enemies down with her blaster and lightsaber.

This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: Ahsoka" episode 5 — "Dreams and Madness."
The penultimate episode of "Ahsoka" sees two stories play out: the potential court martial of Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) from the New Republic and the journey of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) to rescue Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) from the machinations of Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelson) and his allies.
Hera's story is completed before the opening title card, with Senator Leia Organa helping Hera out of the jam. When Senator Xiono wants to strip Hera of her rank, the golden droid arrives to offer proof (albeit via false truth) that Leia sanctioned Hera's mission personally, and as leader of the Defense Council, they can take up any problems with her personally.

With just two episodes left of “Ahsoka” on Disney+, there are many plot threads that hopefully will be addressed.
With most of the major characters, including Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), either at or headed to (or trying to leave) the planet Peridea as of Episode 6, there will surely be some epic fights to come.
In Episode 6, viewers learned that Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) was thriving despite being exiled to the distant galaxy, to which his follower Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto) was able to map a route.
Peridea also happens to be where purrgil, or star whales, migrate to using an organic form of hyperdrive. It is also the homeworld of the Nightsisters or Dathomiri, a faction of witches who use powerful magic and have aligned themselves with Thrawn.

It finally happened. After "Ahsoka" embarked on a quest to find Ezra and Thrawn, we finally made it to a whole other galaxy, albeit after some detours in the World Between Worlds and a cool lightsaber fight with Anakin Skywalker.
Not only is this new galaxy awesome, with the planet Peridea looking like something straight out of "Dune," but it has some of the coolest "Star Wars" creatures in a while, such as the Noti, who look like mutant hermit turtle Ewoks. On the planet, we also see the anticipated return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, the most formidable villain in "Star Wars" at the moment, and the big baddie for Dave Filoni's Mando-verse
But it is not just Thrawn we see here, because after some searching, we're also reunited with "Star Wars Rebels" character Ezra Bridger (played by Eman Esfandi), who now looks like bearded space Jesus -- or space Kwisatz Haderach,...

Ezra Bridger, a character whose return to the Star Wars universe has been teased for weeks, is finally back, and with a beard! When we last saw him on the Rebels animated series, he was still a teen making his way through the galaxy, fighting the good fight against the evil Empire, and learning the ways of the Jedi. Powerful in the Force, especially when it comes to his connection to animals and nature, Ezra sacrificing himself at the height of the Galactic Civil War was a major loss for the Rebellion, who didn’t yet know they’d soon gain a Luke Skywalker.
On Ahsoka, the character is brought to live action for the first time by actor Eman Esfandi (King Richard), who does a great job of portraying Ezra’s signature charm and sarcasm during his reunion with Sabine in “Far,...

In "Ahsoka," Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) made a strong first impression when he slaughtered the crew of a New Republic vessel after posing as a Jedi with his disciple, Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno). This is not a case of basic impersonation, as Baylan used to be a Jedi while the Jedi Order thrived, and became disillusioned after surviving The Purge, turning into a mercenary-for-hire in later years. While Baylan and Shin are not Jedi, it is tricky to categorize them as Sith, especially after today's episode, where the former Jedi talks about his grand plan to end cyclical violence in the galaxy. While speaking about the ebb and flow of power, and the rise and fall of fascistic empires, Baylan expresses his desire to be something more by creating a galaxy devoid of this violent ouroboros.

"Ahsoka" has finally reached the point that "Star Wars Rebels" fans have been waiting for with bated breath: the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who appears in live-action for the first time, announcing his twisted plan for the galaxy. When it was announced that Hayden Christensen would reprise his role as Darth Vader in “Ahsoka,” Star Wars fans’ response was mostly positive. Christensen took heat for the prequel films like many of his costars, his two-film arc depicting Anakin Skywalker’s descent into darkness now obscured by indictments of the trilogy’s other flaws.
And Anakin — not portrayed by Christensen, but voiced by Matt Lanter — was a key part of the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” which developed Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein). To have the master and apprentice reunited in live-action (Tano now played by Rosario Dawson) was a thrilling prospect for fans of “Clone Wars” and “Star Wars: Rebels” — where he is young, smiling, and mostly human. And as nice as it is to see the duo reunited, it boils “Ahsoka” down to the same uninspired purpose that drove every lackluster Star Wars project of the past decade: Nostalgia.

What compelled Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), a Mandalorian, to remove and store her neon beskar armor in "Ahsoka"? Episode 4, "A Fallen Jedi," insinuates a depressing answer to this, as well as her fervor to find her long-lost battle brother Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) in the far reaches of Wild Space. It's only when Sabine regains hope in Ezra's survival that she dons her beskar and Mandalorian weaponry again.
Sabine lands in a tight spot when she seemingly loses her Jedi master, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson). Cornered by Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson), a former Jedi and Imperial-allied mercenary, Sabine holds the Wild Space map hostage. Through Force mind-reads and deduction, Baylan realizes that Sabine lost her Mandalorian birth family, which fuels her desperation to find Ezra. He tempts her to surrender the map in return for her survival, which gives the Thrawn loyalists the coordinates to Wild Space.

This article discusses spoilers for the latest episode of "Ahsoka."
We're only two weeks and three episodes into "Ahsoka" (you can check out Bryan Young's recap of episode 3 here) and fans have already enjoyed an avalanche of Easter eggs, references, and callbacks to the beloved animated series "Star Wars: Rebels." With creator Dave Filoni at the helm and finally able to complete the arcs of characters like Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), the fiery Mandalorian Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), General Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and eventually the long-missing Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), there's simply no telling how many more connections we're about to get in the weeks ahead that further tie together every corner of the "Star Wars" universe. This latest one -- for all intents and purposes, the live-action debut of the fan-favorite species of space whales known as the purrgil -- might very well be the most significant development yet.

This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: Ahsoka" episode 3 — "Time to Fly"
Last week, the first two episodes of "Ahsoka" did a relatively good job of setting the stage for what could potentially be one of the most epic confrontations in all of "Star Wars." Hopefully, it was a good introduction for fans who didn't necessarily have the time or the interest to watch four seasons of the animated series "Star Wars Rebels" just to get acquainted with characters new to live-action like Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).
It's a lot of backstory that essentially pits Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) against a small group of Dark Side users who have the key to unlocking the whereabouts of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who is largely considered to be the greatest villain in all of "Star Wars" next to Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine. There's also a...
