It’s the Rani. It’s always the Rani. Even when it definitely isn’t the Rani, well, it’s secretly the Rani.
That’s the running gag in the Doctor Who fandom every time it’s called upon to speculate about who or whatever is behind Something Mysterious and Evil happening on the show. If it’s not the Master, then it’s malevolent Time Lady the Rani. Monsters stealing time, cracks in the universe, milk going off even when kept in an adequately refrigerated container? It’s naughty scientist the Rani (even though it very rarely is).
As played by Kate O’Mara in season 22 and season 24, the character is a classic but little-seen Who villain whose reappearance on TV fans live both in eager anticipation and utter dread of. Four-part 1987 story “Time and the Rani” you see, is not popular.

David Woolley and his family gathered in October 2023 to celebrate a happy occasion. Sister Wives star Christine Brown and Woolley tied the knot in a ceremony that was later aired on TV. While things are looking up for both Christine Brown and David Woolley, the Woolley family has dealt with two major tragedies in the last 15 years.

Spoilers for "Killers of the Flower Moon" follow.
Martin Scorsese is the great American filmmaker of his generation — and I don't just mean in nationality. The American Dream underpins Scorsese's films, whether unfolding in his hometown of New York City or the Oklahoma plains like his latest, "Killers of the Flower Moon." Based on David Grann's non-fiction novel, the film is set in 1920s Osage County, Oklahoma. The indigenous Osage tribe came into wealth upon discovering oil on their land — so white settlers murdered them to steal it. While ringleaders William King Hale (Robert De Niro) and Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) were prosecuted, they avoided life in prison. Mollie Burkhart (Lily Gladstone), Ernest's wife and poisoning victim, dies at the age of 50 without her family, while the Osage's wealth dries up. It's hardly a victory for justice, even if the tribe refuses to be forgotten by history.

The Other Zoey is a romantic comedy film starring Josephine Langford, Drew Starkey, and Archie Renaux. With Heather Graham and Andie MacDowell. It is directed by Sara Zandieh.
If you’re looking for a romantic comedy of the “boy meets girl” variety and don’t know where to find it, we’ve got you covered. This is a romantic comedy in which she is beautiful and smart (Josephine Langford) and they (Drew Starkey and Archie Renaux) are equally attractive in their respective versions.
The Other Zoey Plot
The plot revolves around a bicycle accident, and after a concussion, he mistakes her for his girlfriend. It could happen to anyone, although this kind of thing usually happens more easily to the protagonists of these kinds of movies.
About the movie

As if paying penance for starring in all five “After” films to date — a series that’s been criticized for glamorizing toxic, controlling relationships à la “Twilight” and “50 Shades” before it — Josephine Langford now dallies on the decidedly wholesome side of romantic complication in “The Other Zoey.” This innocuous comedy, hinging on a gimmicky plot contrivance, doesn’t transcend formula even when it’s winking at the clichés it caves to. Still, it’s a pleasant enough diversion for those who want familiar genre beats sounded by the usual attractive actors in the customary attractive settings. That audience seems unlikely to stampede Brainstorm Media’s limited theatrical release on Friday, as this is exactly the sort of comfort-food fare one expects to stream at home — an option arriving November 10th.

James Mercer has confirmed that he’s working on a fresh batch of songs which may become The Shins’ first new album since 2017’s Heartworms.
The confirmation came in an interview on a new episode of The Story Behind the Song, in which Mercer revealed that at least 17 songs are in the works for his next project.
“September, I’m going to buckle down,” Mercer told host Peter Csathy. “I’ve got a bunch of songs. I think it was 17 songs that are partially-recorded already. So, I’m always working on something. I’m always fiddling with the guitar and searching for those moments, you know? So, I’ve got a bunch of stuff. And I don’t know how long it’ll take, but I’ll start in September, and I’ll do another Shins record.”

Josephine Langford is most well known for playing college student Tessa Young in the "After" movies. The franchise, which is inspired by Anna Todd's best-selling book series of the same name, chronicles Tessa's tumultuous relationship with Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) - a mysterious bad boy with a dark past. The first film, which premiered in 2019, catapulted Langford to fame. Now, years later, Langford has officially said goodbye to Tessa following the release of the final "After" installment "After Everything," which premiered on Sept. 13.
So what's next for Langford? The actress is set to star in the upcoming romantic comedy "The Other Zoey." The film centers around a college student named Zoey, who enters into a fake relationship after a cute guy with amnesia mistakes her for his real girlfriend. The movie will be released in select theaters on Oct. 20 before becoming available on-demand on Nov. 10.

New Delhi, Sep 21 (Ians) The trailer for actress Josephine Langford’s new rom-com film ‘The Other Zoey’, and is a fun and light-hearted teen-drama-romance-dramedy which shows the blooming of an accidental and unlikely romance.
The trailer follows the character of Zoey Miller (Langford), a super smart computer major who is completely uninterested in romance and is rather a snobby know-it-all.
A take on the stereotypical American portrayal of intellectual girls, Zoey has her life thrown upside down when Zach (Starkey), a typical popular college soccer player whom she has little interest in, and even a certain level of dislike, gets amnesia.
Initially, the two start off on completely wrong terms with Zack passing snarky and sarcastic remarks while Zoey takes a dig at his sarcasm and wisecracks. Both part ways with an instant dislike.
Things suddenly turn around when one day a car rams into Zack, leading him to becoming an amnesiac.

This article contains No spoilers for The Watcher.
The Watcher has just about everything Netflix is looking for in a buzzy drama series.
For starters, it hails from TV-producing mastermind Ryan Murphy, who was just responsible for one of the streamer’s biggest hits in the Jeffrey Dahmer biographic drama Dahmer. The story of The Watcher also comes from terrifying real life events as recounted in The Cut’s now-classic magazine feature. And not for nothing, but The Watcher also just happens to share six letters in common with another popular Netflix series. It’s certainly fun to imagine someone clicking into The Watcher hoping to see Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia and instead getting an emotionally searing saga of modern true crime instead.
More important than any of those blockbuster factors, however, is the cast of The Watcher. As befitting a Murphy-Netflix co-production, the roster of actors here is absolutely stacked.

This article contains spoilers for The Watcher.
Hot off the success of his Jeffrey Dahmer series Dahmer, Ryan Murphy is back with another Netflix show inspired by a true story. This time, though, there’s a bit of a twist. The Watcher, inspired by the true story of the Broaddus family who bought a very expensive house in Westfield, New Jersey and received a series of threatening letters from someone calling themself “The Watcher”, takes a slightly different approach to true crime. It’s a weird story. And it’s never been solved, though there are many theories kicking around. The show’s approach is to allow various theories to play out, leaving you with a story that, at first glance, seems quite outlandish but with a bit of further digging is often peripherally true, could have been true, or was inspired by something that really happened.
Let’s break it all down.

Ah, Creepshow. People of a certain age, like me, have fond memories of the 1982 film Creepshow. How couldn’t you, it was a tongue-in-cheek horror film written by Stephen King, directed by George Romero, and inspired by the EC Comics of the 1950s. The film used the typical format of the anthology horror comics, a short prologue followed by different stories. This also led to the more recent TV series Creepshow which, while a little uneven, was fun overall. This title, although called Creepshow, is more the spiritual descendant of those early EC books like Tales From The Crypt but, y’know, licensing agreements and all that. Each issue of Creepshow will feature two stories by different creators, and as we know everyone has at least one good horror story in them,...

If you're not ready to say goodbye to Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Tessa (Josephine Langford) just yet, don't worry, you won't have to - well beyond "After Ever Happy"'s upcoming release. Tiffin just revealed in an August Instagram video that a fifth film is coming. Fans had previously thought the fourth film, out Sept. 7, was Tiffin and Langford's final contributions to the saga.
Said Tiffin, "We have just wrapped filming on the fifth after movie. I can't tell you too much about it yet but I can tell you that it will be called 'After Everything,' and I cannot wait for you all to see it."
Of course, there were already even more "After" movies in the works. Back in April 2021, director Castille Landon exclusively confirmed to Teen Vogue that the "After" franchise would be getting even bigger with two more films on the way,...

Paramount+ has unveiled a slate of exclusive acquisitions for the U.K. and Ireland including Keshet’s “La Brea” from NBCUniversal Global Distribution and “Minx,” starring Jake Johnson and Ophelia Lovibond.
“La Brea” is a survival thriller in which citizens battle for survival after they’re pulled into a mysterious land via a Los Angeles sinkhole while “Minx” tells the story of a young feminist and low-rent publisher who set out to create an erotic magazine for women in the 1970s.
“Minx” was acquired from Lionsgate alongside Topher Grace’s “Home Economics,” about the relationship between three adult siblings, and “Son of a Critch,” which is based on the memoir from “This Hour Has Twenty-Two Minutes” host Mark Critch.
The shows will debut on the streamer in August.
“The Thing About Pam,” also acquired from NBCUniversal Global Distribution and starring Renée Zellweger, Josh Duhamel and Judy Greer, dropped on Paramount+ last month.

Katherine Langford has yet to miss in her young career.
The Australian actor already has a mighty impressive resume that includes two hit Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why and Cursed, as well as two esteemed films in Knives Out and Love, Simon. In her latest return to the screen, Langford stars in Brian Duffield’s Spontaneous, a high-concept sci-fi comedy that is currently registering a 97% score among Rotten Tomatoes critics.
Spontaneous focuses on Langford’s Mara and her budding relationship with Charlie Plummer’s Dylan. The catch is that their love story begins amid a rising pandemic involving spontaneously exploding teenagers at their high school. Even though the film was shot in early 2018, the film has direct parallels to the novel coronavirus pandemic, something none of the creatives could have seen coming.
