‘As Dusk Falls’ Is a Choice-Based Game That Features One of the Best Musical Scores We’ve Ever Heard
Picture this: A family looking for a new start stops by an unassuming motel looking for a respite after an unfortunate car accident. A few moments later, three men, armed and masked, enter the premises. The tension is palpable, voices raised. It’s your choice that matters — your choice that decides the fate of two families whose trajectories fatefully collide in midwest Americana. This is the plot of Interior/Night’s latest video game, As Dusk Falls.

Hours after Tom Morello appeared on The Tonight Show to perform “Hold the Line” with the help of Grandson, the guitarist announced his second LP of 2021, The Atlas Underground Flood, out Dec. 3rd.
The Atlas Underground Flood serves as a “sister album” to Morello’s The Atlas Underground Fire, which arrived in October. Like its predecessor, the upcoming LP is an all-star affair, with a guest list that includes Jim James, Rush’s Alex Lifeson, Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, Nathaniel Rateliff, Manchester Orchestra, Ben Harper, X Ambassadors and many more.

Courtney Conlogue lives her life on the hunt, striving to compete for — and win — the World Title. A two-time runner-up in 2015 and 2016, she’s had a remarkable 2019 season, coming in first at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach in April. The 27-year-old credits her success in part to discipline and balance, two attributes she learned as a student of Korean martial arts.
“I started competing in martial arts when I was five, and I’d perform in front of five judges, which is similar to surfing,” says Conlogue. “With my...

It takes three to tango on “Dancing with the Stars” — and to cha-cha, paso doble, salsa, Argentine tango and Charleston. Week 4 is Trio Week, but with a twist this time. While pros and troupe members have joined couples in the past, the show is bringing in former contestants, “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” contestant Maddie Ziegler (as previously announced), and two people who have absolutely nothing to do with the show whatsoever.
Scarlett Byrne, who played Pansy Parkinson in the “Harry Potter” films, will team with her former co-star Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe for their salsa, while “Bachelor in Paradise” star Jordan Kimball will hit the hardwood with Grocery Store Joe and Jenna Johnson for their salsa. Stay thirsty, ABC.
Former champs Melissa Rycroft and Rashad Jennings, and alums Nastia Liukin, Linsdsey Stirling, Riker Lynch, Joey Fatone and Amy Purdy are the past contestants who’ll take another step on the dance floor.

A good set of opening credits in a TV show has become a lost art. Remember the early days of Grey's Anatomy, when Psapp's "Cosy in the Rocket" would play over a medical montage? Or even the the more recent Jessica Jones, which has a truly great, purple-themed noir opener done in stunning watercolors? Now, Netflix's Safe might not boast as elaborate a credit sequence, but it does have an excellent song to back them up.
Barns Courtney's "Glitter & Gold" blasts as smoky, inky swirls float across the screen on top of images of a seemingly quaint British neighborhood. The catchy rock song is the perfect accompaniment for the credits, which highlight how not all is as it seems in Safe.
The British mystery series stars Michael C. Hall as Tom, a British surgeon and widower whose teenage daughter goes missing from a party in their quiet neighborhood.
