In Cyberpunk 2077, Iconic weapons are some of the strongest items you can acquire as you make your way up Night City’s criminal underbelly. These firearms, swords, and clubs are more powerful than most other items and usually sport unique perks that set them apart even further. Since Phantom Liberty introduces a brand new area to explore, complete with more missions, this Dlc also packs quite a few new Iconic weapons.
Of course, Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG that lets players decide how to approach different challenges with unique character builds, so not every iconic weapon will gel with every player. Some gamers will gravitate towards an assault rifle that makes enemies explode into pools of acid, others will find themselves drawn to a machete that lights opponents on fire. Several players might even find themselves swinging around a mundane crowbar because it’s a Half-Life reference. Still, almost every new...

“Kevin Feige, you have failed this cinematic universe.”
Okay, Arrowverse co-creator Marc Guggenheim didn’t put it quite like that, but he does has some pretty strong advice for the head of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “There’s just too much content,” Guggenheim said on The Aarthi & Sriram Show. “If I was suddenly in Kevin Feige’s role, basically I would do what [Disney President Bob] Iger was saying, which is prune the tree,” Guggenheim explained. “You know, there’s just too much content. I’m like the biggest Marvel nerd ever, and I haven’t seen Moon Knight. I just can’t keep up.”
Opinions like this can be found everywhere, but Guggenheim knows a thing or two about shepherding a successful superhero universe. Along with Greg Berlanti, Guggenheim created the Arrowverse on the CW Network. Beginning with the relatively grounded Arrow in 2012, Guggenheim and Berlanti launched a bonkers shared universe that...

I don't think there has been a superhero television series with an as expansive legacy as "Arrow." Premiering on The CW in 2012, the series not only ran for impressive eight seasons but spawned the "Arrowverse," a shared television universe. "Arrow" led to the creation of "The Flash," "Legends of Tomorrow," and more, with these DC Comics-inspired series regularly crossing over with one another. The show stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, a playboy who returns to his hometown of Star City after presumingly being stranded on a remote island for five years, as the vigilante Green Arrow.
Initially coming out the gate as a dark and gritty take on the Green Arrow mythos, "Arrow" let itself get weird and leaned into its comic book origins for an entertaining, if uneven, superhero show. There is a wide range of quality across the show's entire run, from its attempts to visibly...

Green Lantern may be one of the most influential superhero movies of all time. Yes, I’m referring to 2011’s Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan and Mark Strong as Sinestro. Yes, really, I’m talking about the movie in which the hero first uses his superpowers to beat up blue-collar workers who he angered when his decision to show off lost them their jobs.
To see that influence, you need to look not at the big screen, but at the small screen. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Green Lantern co-writer Greg Berlanti put it plainly. “[W]hile it was heartbreaking on the film side,” Berlanti said of the movie’s failure; “it ultimately led to wonderful things on the television side.” In other words, had Green Lantern been a success, Berlanti would have been stuck continuing work on DC movies, instead of creating the Arrowverse.

ReviewThe film has too many similarities to ‘The Family Man’ web series but is nowhere as nuanced or layered. Sowmya RajendranIf you’ve watched Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man, you are likely to suffer from a heavy sense of deja vu all through Ashishor Solomon’s Wild Dog. Though the Ott series is a fictional story inspired by real events and the Nagarjuna film is based on actual serial bomb blasts, and the trajectories of the respective investigations are different, there is overwhelming similarity between the two. Perhaps it was to offset this comparison that Ashishor decided to call his hero Vijay Varma (Nagarjuna), the ‘Wild Dog’. What could be farther from Srikanth Tiwari’s (Manoj Bajpayee) ‘The Family Man’ title that suggests domesticity? But in trying to make Vijay Varma different, the writer-director ends up stuffing him into the same mould as Telugu heroes who are trigger-happy...

People form opinions quickly. According to an article in The Guardian it only takes 1/10 of a second for people to make up their minds about whoever they meet. Studies also show that it take .05 seconds to form an opinion of a website. The same is likely true for television shows.
However, just like with people (and sometimes websites), television shows contain multitudes; there is usually a lot more to what a person or show can offer than what you see in the first % of a second.
Unfortunately, unlike a person who you can meet up with at a later date, shows do not have a lot of time to change your mind. If a show does badly in Season 1, it is unlikely to be renewed Season 2. We've all seen that happen, and it stinks if you are the one person who liked the show and saw what it could be.

After a month’s break, “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is finally set to return in exactly one week’s time. And ahead of the conclusion of the mega DC TV event, The CW has now dropped yet another poster for the crossover.
As well as bringing the Arrowverse’s heroes together, it’s most notable for giving us our first look at Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen in his new guise as the Spectre. Overlooking the Super-Friends, meanwhile, is the evil Anti-Monitor (Lamonica Garrett).
Under his right arm, we have Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Dreamer (Nicole Maines), Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). Beneath his other arm, there’s Frost (Danielle Panabaker), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Diggle (David Ramsey), Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) and Atom (Brandon Routh). Then, at the front of the group are the leading heroes: White Canary...

When you hear any writer or filmmaker talk about assembling a superhero team-up, they’ll tell you about how it’s vital that a villain worthy of battling multiple heroes be incorporated. After all, if the most formidable forces wearing capes and cowls are fighting alongside each other, then one average villain just won’t do.
So, in situations such as these, you’ll often see one of three threats: an alien invasion, a team comprised of supervillains, or a being so powerful that they can go toe-to-toe with an entire squad. Considering how past DC TV crossovers have already featured the Dominators and Nazi doppelgangers from Earth-x, it’s only appropriate that the Anti-Monitor finally show his face.

Even though Legends of Tomorrow once showed us a future that could’ve been in “Star City 2046,” it’s important to note how any glimpses into the horizon on that particular series aren’t set in stone. With Oliver Queen now being locked up and apparently engaging in nude prison fights, the other members of Team Arrow will obviously have to occupy their time somehow.
Already, we’ve learned that Felicity’s changed her appearance in order to avoid the negative attention that comes with her husband’s incarceration, and that Black Siren will be taking over as Star City’s district attorney. But what of other favorites such as Black Canary, Wild Dog and Mr. Terrific?
Well, when it comes to Black Canary specifically, actress Juliana Harkavy said the following while speaking with ComicBook.com about the new status quo at San Diego Comic-Con:
“Well, everything is a little bit under constraints because of what’s going on with Oliver so it’s definitely going to be there, but they’re going to have to be a little bit crafty in how they go about it.

Having to keep track of so many series these days, there are very few that I make it a point to acquire each and every season. After all, a person has only so much time, money and shelf space. But when it comes to Arrow, I can’t help adding the next chapter to my collection once it arrives on home video.
That said, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking in season 6 in its entirety over the past week or so. Though I did originally tune in to watch it live, I certainly didn’t mind a second tour on Blu-ray because there was just so much going on this year.
Long story short, the saga resumes not long after Team Arrow and friends were caught in the blast caused by Prometheus on Lian Yu, with pretty much everyone except the mother of Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) child making it out alive.

Though we each may have our differing opinions regarding how Arrow‘s sixth season turned out, it’s probably safe to say that many of us remain optimistic regarding what’s to come. A huge reason for this is that Colton Haynes is back on as a series regular beginning this fall, as he’ll reprise his role of Roy Harper.
Now, I’m sure there are those of you reading this who favor the likes of John Diggle, Black Canary, Wild Dog or somebody else, but there’s just something special about Roy. Maybe it’s because he’s essentially the Robin to the Green Arrow’s Batman, but the live action interpretation of Arsenal would’ve fallen flat if the wrong actor had landed the gig.

Even if a TV series is to be headlined by a character you personally champion, it’s imperative that it maintain quality for the long haul if viewers are to be kept aboard. In the case of Arrow, its fifth season proved to be one of the show’s strongest outings, so I was quite pleased to see the sixth continued with that momentum.
What was especially interesting about this past year was that the whole team dynamic was taken to a new level – yet sight was never lost on the titular character, that being the Emerald Archer himself. Believe me, Oliver Queen was really taken to the limit this time around, as Ricardo Diaz proved to be quite the formidable foe.

To say that the past few months have been a trying time for Team Arrow is quite the understatement. I mean, Oliver Queen was able to get by when Mr. Terrific, Black Canary and Wild Dog decided to go off and do their own thing, but the exit of Thea compounded with John Diggle’s decision to sign up with Argus was almost too much for the Emerald Archer to take. For a brief period, he went back to basics, but it appears we’re ready to return to the status quo now that he’s been acquitted of all charges.
In fact, one could say Ollie’s recent trial is what helped pull the team back together. After all, it forced each hero to step back and examine the situation from a different perspective, with some of them likely pondering what it’s like to be in the other’s shoes.

Now that Christmas is over and done with, the four shows that make up The CW’s Arrowverse will be returning in just a couple of weeks. And to celebrate, the network has dropped this short but sweet crossover promo featuring TV’s finest heroes suiting back up after a month away from our screens.
The clip sees the gang in a locker room-like facility (each one has their own changing room), as Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow orders them to suit up. Cue a swanky slow-mo montage of the group donning their crime-fighting gear.
Those featured in the video include White Canary (Caity Lotz), Vibe (Carlos Valdes), Atom (Brandon Routh) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzales), while we also get glimpses of Steel, Kid Flash, Mister Terrific and Heatwave. Late to the party, meanwhile, are Flash (Grant Gustin) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), who use their handy super-speed to catch up with the others.

There was much ado just as Barry and Iris went to say “I do” during Night 1 of the Arrowverse’s “Crisis on Earth-x” crossover event.

At last, the latest Arrowverse crossover is right around the corner!
Titled “Crisis on Earth-x,” the event airs next week and sees the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow collide when they have to face an invasion led by their Nazi doppelgangers from another Earth (Earth-x, to be exact). Previous promo images and posters have highlighted the league of heroes, but this new one-sheet puts the focus on the battle between good and evil.
Resembling the comic book-inspired art poster that announced the title of the crossover the other month, the image sets the Arrowverse heroes (Supergirl, Green Arrow, Flash, Atom, Wild Dog, White Canary, Mister Terrific and Vibe) against the Earth-x’ers (Overgirl, Dark Arrow, Blitzen). And, judging by the Nazi-esque banners on the skyscrapers in the background, it looks like this almighty battle is taking place on the latter’s plantet.

The latest promo for “Crisis On Earth-x” gives us our best look yet at the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, which is arriving later this month. Featuring the casts of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, the four-part event will see the assembled heroes face their own Nazi doppelgangers from the dystopian Earth-x.
This new trailer reveals that Barry and Iris’ wedding is crashed by Overgirl, the Supergirl of Earth-x. Luckily for our planet, though, the world’s finest heroes are on the case. In one awesome team shot, we see a line-up including Alex Danvers, Mister Terrific, Vixen, Wild Dog, White Canary, Flash, Steel, Green Arrow, Atom, Heatwave, Captain Cold, Zari and Black Canary.
Speaking of Captain Cold, we also get a glimpse at the Earth-x Leonard Snart, who looks to be a leading Nazi commander. Seeing as this is apparently Wentworth Miller’s final time in the Arrowverse,...

Arrow season 6 has seen a major shake-up of the series’ status quo. With his duties already split between being mayor of Star City and a father to his son William, Oliver Queen passed the mantle of Green Arrow onto his old buddy John Diggle back in episode 2. It’s been a bumpy ride for him, though, as the former soldier has been struggling to deal with both adjusting to being Team Arrow’s new leader and coping with his Ptsd after the events of the season 5 finale.
In next week’s episode, titled “Thanksgiving,” the real Green Arrow will return when Oliver Queen is forced to don the hood once again. It’s not clear exactly what prompts him to step back into active vigilante duty, but it’s likely that it has something to do with the return of Black Siren, Laurel Lance’s evil doppelganger from Earth-2, who...

On top of having the cast seeing double when they come up against their Nazi doppelgangers from another Earth, one of the stars has revealed the whopping amount of heroes who’ll take part in the crossover.
Ex-Superman actor Brandon Routh – who plays Ray Palmer/the Atom on Legends of Tomorrow – revealed a highlight of his that will occur in the event during a recent set visit. He announced that one scene in particular will see the united heroes of the Arrowverse come together on the bridge of the Waverider. And there’s going to be a heck of a lot of them.
“I have a limited adventure in the crossover, but I do get to work with a few people that we had a good time.

Arrow’s “Wild Dog” is a part of Oliver’s latest team and he isn’t yet familiar to all fans. He’s one of the newest vigilantes to make the scene, but the character is making waves and gaining a decent sized fan base. Most are pleased enough with his addition. Even though the character is a bit of a wild card, it is his passion and impulsiveness that offer a good contrast to Oliver’s cold calculating hero ways. His role isn’t big but fans are warming to the character. Here are five things that you didn’t know about “Wild Dog.” 1. This

Black Siren busting into the Bunker in the Arrow Season 6 premiere got us thinking: Just how easy is it to infiltrate the emerald archer’s lair?
After all, Malcolm Merlyn (when decidedly alive) used to slink out of the Arrowcave’s shadows on the regular, and late last season no less than an Emp was planted inside the high-tech hideout. (The irony of that latter crisis is that trapped Oliver and Felicity were unable to make their way out, when so many people seem to waltz right in as if they own the place.)

One thing that The CW’s DC TV shows have become known for is that of their costuming. Sure, they may not always hit the mark when it comes to threads worn by various heroes and villains, but more often than not, what we see on the small screen looks pretty darn cool.
As to expected with any new season, several characters have already been granted some upgrades. Over on The Flash, Barry Allen finally got some new duds, while Arrow‘s latest Black Canary, Dinah Drake, reached a higher level of badassery with her awesome looking costume.
What none of us saw coming, however, was that another member of Team Arrow 2.0 would be receiving a wardrobe change of their own, that, of course, being Wild Dog. Originally introduced in season 5, his costume was rather accurate to what was found in the comics, even some as recent as Cave Carson Has A Cybernetic Eye.

This review is based on the season premiere.
These days, I think it’s important that Arrow not miss a step and constantly remind everybody just how important it is to the universe it’s helped established. Yes, it is the progenitor of sorts, but it could be argued that The Flash has passed it up in terms of popularity in recent years. To be honest, I would agree with that, although I do urge those who may have lapsed from this particular series to hop back aboard.
I say that because while some of you reading this perhaps checked out after a less than stellar season 4, do know that none of us who said season 5 recaptured this show’s former glory were spewing hyperbole. Really, all the suspense, drama and action that made the earlier years so memorable is once again alive and well – and I’m happy to...

The CW have released a new batch of promo images for the Arrow season 6 premiere, “Fallout”, which arrives on our screens in just a few weeks. Fans will recall that season 5 ended on a massive cliffhanger, as most of Team Arrow appeared to die in an explosion orchestrated by Prometheus on Lian Yu. While these photos are careful not to reveal anything we didn’t know before about who survived, they do tease an exciting battle to come in the premiere.
It seems Dinah Drake’s Black Canary and Earth-2 Laurel Lance Aka Black Siren will have a rematch in the upcoming episode. By the looks of things, Black Siren has returned from Lian Yu looking to make a mark on Star City’s underworld and has acquired some henchmen to do her bidding. The photos also showcase Dinah’s new costume, which was first unveiled a few weeks back.

It feels like recently I’ve been reviewing way too many superhero series. I’ve gone from the dorky style of Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, to the slightly more serious The Flash. Now it is time to look at Arrow: The Complete Fifth Season, which takes things even more seriously.
In Arrow: The Complete Fifth Season Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is now mayor meaning that his balance between work and being the Arrow is even more complicated. When a new nemesis in the form of Prometheus arrives in Star City, Oliver’s eyes will be opened to who he really is, and what consequences his actions have.
While there is (normally) a light-hearted feel to the other DC shows, Arrow tends to take the darker tone. This is made obvious in this season when we see Oliver not afraid to kill his enemies for what he sees as the greater good.

All along, showrunners Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle have been telling us Arrow was seen as a five-year odyssey, intended to be the same amount of time post-Lian Yu, to show how he has grown since being stranded there. Other than that noble notion, the execution has been incredibly uneven season to season.
As the series entered its fifth year, they began the season uncertain if this was going to be its final one so they made certain things got tidied up. The tedious flashbacks had to wrap up the five years before the series’ start and move Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his friends towards a point where, should it be canceled, viewers were left satisfied.

Rick Gonzalez joined the cast of Arrow for season 5, playing new Team Arrow recruit Rene Ramirez, aka Wild Dog. Rene was also present on Lian Yu for the season 5 finale, which ended with a giant explosion on Oliver Queen’s purgatory island.

Arrow Season 5 was a return to form for the long-running DC superhero series on The CW. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally embraced his role as leader, completing a five year transition from murderous vigilante to heroic superhero Green Arrow. A big reason for the show's resurgence last season was the re-establishment of a grounded, gritty, street-level storyline that pitted Queen against Prometheus (Josh Segarra), a fighter of comparable skill who was constantly one step ahead of Team Arrow.
By abandoning the failed magic and mysticism aspects of Seasons 3 and 4, Arrow focused on hard-hitting, often incredibly brutal hand-to-hand fighting last season, which is a hallmark of this show. Seriously, outside of Netflix's Daredevil, is there any better fight choreography on TV? So what can we expect out of Arrow Season 6? We already know that the big bad will be Richard Dragon, an absolutely vicious martial artist with deep roots in the DC comics canon.

If I could succinctly sum up what I’ve seen from this line to date, I’d say it’s like a marriage between Vertigo and DC proper. Basically, it’s the best of both worlds.
In the past, I said that Doom Patrol could probably be labeled as Young Animal’s flagship book, a statement that I stand by.
