Cypress Jones, son of classical singer Janet Chvatal & jazz drummer Alan Jones, was born July 2, 1993 on a farm near Portland, Oregon. He first discovered a love for hip-hop the age of 10. At 14, he was mentored by Hollywood actor/director Malcolm Goodwin, impressed with Jones' talent & drive to succeed. From 2012-2017 Jones grew his music video production company, directing/producing over 300 music videos while writing his own songs. In 2018 Jones moved to LA, working on music videos for Kodak Black: "Callin' My Spirit", Gucci Mane: "I'm Not Goin'' & Backstreet Boys: "Chances". In 2019 he directed "Grace From Persistence" chosen for a Grammy Select Submission for Best Music Video. Since 2020, Jones has devoted his career to his own music and is releasing new songs with co-producer Chase Stockman. Spotify.
