The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2 has taken flight on Disney+, and we’ve got an exclusive clip from an upcoming episode. The footage features Lauren Graham (Alex Morrow) and Josh Duhamel (Coach Cole) negotiating for the first pick in an upcoming draft. Using clever negotiation tactics, Alex points out that the optics of Coach Cole getting the first pick at his own hockey camp is an awkward look. His position in the draft appears like favoritism no matter how you slice it, and in today’s watchful world, you don’t want to look like you’ve got an advantage over your student body. The clip speaks to Alex’s savvy as the Ducks coach and shows a softer side to Coach Cole audiences have yet to see much of this season.

Some might have a point when it comes to stating that Disney and a few others are having trouble coming up with new ideas since the role of Gavin Cole, which will be taken on by Josh Duhamel in the upcoming season 2 of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, is something that’s been done before, albeit in a different manner. If anyone remembers The Mighty Ducks 3, and I’m sure there are plenty that do, the Ducks made their way to the upscale prep school known as Eaton Hall, where they met Coach Orion, who came out as a tough
