[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the 9-1-1 Season 7 premiere “Abandon ‘Ships.”] Listen, if there’s one ‘ship we’re not ready to abandon, it’s Athena (Angela Bassett) and Bobby (Peter Krause), though they do have some things to work out in the 9-1-1 premiere. Fortunately, all is well for Hen (Aisha Hinds) and Karen (Tracie Thoms), as well as Chimney (Kenneth Choi) and Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt)—though multiple people need to tell him that!—and we’re not at all attached to Buck (Oliver Stark) and Eddie’s (Ryan Guzman) love interests, which is a good thing in one case. Early on in the premiere, Buck tries to make plans with Eddie over the weekend, but the other man is busy chaperoning, with Marisol (Edy Ganem), his son Christopher’s (Gavin McHugh) first date. When Eddie suggests he invite Natalia (Annelise Cepero), Buck reveals, “We broke up. I don’t know why I thought ...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the 9-1-1 Season 6 finale “Pay It Forward.”] 9-1-1 ends its run on Fox with just the type of finale we’ve come to expect from the drama. Almost the entire 118 is injured when an overpass collapses: Buck’s (Oliver Stark) face is bloody, Hen (Aisha Hinds) has a concussion, Eddie (Ryan Guzman) has broken ribs, Chimney (Kenneth Choi) is impaled, and Bobby (Peter Krause) has a probable AC joint sprain. They’re all back at work by the end. As for their personal lives, Buck — who delivers Kameron (Chelsea Kane) and Connor’s (Colin McCalla) baby on his couch — and Natalia (Annelise Cepero) are giving it a try; Eddie calls Marisol (Edy Ganem) and sets up a date; Hen and Karen (Tracie Thoms) are fostering a baby girl; Chimney and Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) are planning their wedding at home; and Bobby and Athena (...

Note: This story contains spoilers from the “9-1-1” Season 6 finale.
Filming for the Season 6 finale of “9-1-1” pushed Oliver Stark to the limit, and that’s just how he likes it.
The first responder drama took a massive swing with its final episode at Fox, featuring a massive overpass collapse that put the lives of the entire crew of station 118 in danger. A mildly injured Buck (Stark) — who saw his own life hanging in the balance after being struck by lightning earlier this season — got to help rescue his teammates, including performing an elaborate stunt where he repelled back and forth to save people stuck in an ambulance hanging off the collapsed piece of highway.
“That was one long take!” Stark shared with TheWrap. “I was pretty bruised and battered and exhausted by the end of the day, but also felt very accomplished and it was a lot of...

Buck (Oliver Stark) seems to be doing more than just saving lives in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the April 24 episode of 9-1-1. In “Death and Taxes,” the firefighter is attracted to a death doula, Natalia (Annelise Cepero), who has minor injuries after the incident that brings the 118 to the scene of a “living funeral,” a car crash. “I specialize in scratches,” he tells her when she tries to brush it off. After they sit down, he asks, “Aside from planning pre-death funerals, what exactly does an end of life doula do?” As she describes it, “If your job is to prevent death, my job is to help people accept it.” Watch the video above for more from their conversation about death, including what Buck shares with her to explain why he considers himself and death, at the very least, “old acquaintances.” But will this attraction go anywhere?...

Steven Spielberg has cast his next star for the upcoming remake of West Side Story.
Maddie Ziegler will play a member of the Jets, one of the rival gangs from the 1961 musical film. While it’s unclear who she’ll play in the film, it’s likely her dance talent caught Spielberg’s eye as Ziegler, 16, rose to fame on Dance Moms and has worked extensively with Sia on her music videos.
Joining the cast is Tony nominee Mike Faist who will portray Riff, the leader of the Jets, opposite Ansel Elgort who was cast as the male lead, Tony.

Maddie Ziegler, who appeared in “Dance Moms” and in a series of Sia music videos, will play a member of the Jets.
Ansel Elgort and Rita Moreno were previously announced as the two leads. Moreno will be playing Valentina, a remade version of the character of Doc, the owner of the corner store in which Tony works. And Elgort has been cast as Tony.
