The cherry trees may be blooming in DC, but young love certainly is not.
Relationships were falling apart left, right, and center on Madam Secretary Season 3 Episode 14, but as always, there was still work to do. International aid deals wait for no broken hearts.
Daisy's heartbreak was the most unexpected, and the one I don't regret. Her beau seemed liked a boorish bro-dude, but turned out to be a CIA operative using the job at State as a cover. I'm not sure yet if this redeems him or makes him even more reprehensible.
At the very least, it does get Ms back to it's Season 1 thriller roots.
Honestly, Daisy may be mourning lost possibilities, but did anybody think those two had a future beyond a few very hot and heavy rolls in the hay? Kevin, or whatever his real name was, was a palette cleanser, not a prince charming.

All’s fair in love and reality TV, right?
While there’s no doubt that over the years many of our favorite contestants on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette would probably agree with that phrase, there are quite a few that seem to have taken it a little too literally. They plotted, schemed, lied and betrayed — and made for some pretty amazing television in the process.
And, if we were really lucky, they then ended up on one of the spin-off shows like Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Pad. In the spirit of free-flowing roses, champagne and drama, let’s...

On-his-knees sorry! Following his hasty exit from season 11 of The Bachelorette, former contestant and once-standout suitor Ian Thomson issued a heartfelt apology to Kaitlyn Bristowe during the Men Tell All special on Monday, July 20. Thomson enraged the Internet and Bristowe during the season when he bowed out of the running after claiming that the Bachelorette was only on the show to "make out with dudes on TV." In his exit, which aired on June 22, Thomson lamented ABC's choice of Bristowe as the Bachlelorette. "I’m being [...]...

Talk about drama! Before Kaitlyn Bristowe makes her choice on The Bachelorette, her suitors had their chance to dish on the season in the annual Men Tell All special. From Nick Viall’s controversial arrival to Ian’s dramatic departure, the men shared their gripes, favorite moments, and regrets from a very memorable Bachelorette season. Here’s how it all went down! Ian vs. Everyone Ian’s dramatic departure from the show -- aka the Princeton grad’s blowup after a confrontation with Kaitlyn about making out with other guys -- pushed him away [...]...

You thought last night was dramatic? "I knew this night would be a wild one," Chris Harrison said early on during last night's Men Tell All episode of The Bachelorette. Which is true, and just like its female counterpart when a Bachelor is doing the picking, the Men Tell All special did not disappoint when it came to drama. (Think Tanner calling Ian an a--hole, Ian getting down on one knee to apologize to all the guys, Chris making fun of Jared's spotty beard.) To name a few moments. Yet somehow there were even more juicy moments that you didn't see, and luckily we had our eyes and ears in the studio to catch every last bit of the amazingness that went...

Take a knee as Kaitlyn's guys air their grievances on Monday's "Men Tell All" special of The Bachelorette. And if you were trying to make America give you a second chance, tonight's installment of the ABC dating show was the place to be. The episode began with the men taking sides over Ian's anti-Kaitlyn diatribe, which involved him being defended by someone named Corey. And yes, one of the episode's most frequent contributors — Corey — was a guy whom absolutely no viewers remember from this season. Please go away, Corey. In which the men tell … some.
This week's episode of The Bachelorette was allegedly the Men Tell All special; however, it was mostly men just arguing with each other about things they've already argued about. That's fair enough, since the Women Tell All special from Chris Soules' season was equally as illuminating on the side of the contestants, which is to say not very much at all.
However, we did hear some pretty candid thoughts from Kaitlyn, who revealed that she got "death threats" after having sex with Nick, because of course she did. Because of course a woman...

This season of The Bachelorette has had its fair share of awkward moments, but Monday's episode was downright painful.
Knowing that one guy was about to go home, watching the remainders – Ben H., Nick and Shawn – tell Kaitlyn that they were in love with her was like watching a car wreck in slow motion – you feel so sure that you could stop it, but you can't. You can't.
Overnight with BenBen turned 26 during the filming of The Bachelorette, which is frankly alarming. I've never met a 26-year-old guy that handsome – probably because they're all on television. Ben for Bachelor!

All I can say about the latest episode of The Bachelorette is "Wow!" Who could not love Ian's narcissistic rambling and his conviction that he should be the next Bachelor? I loved that he took Kaitlyn to task for having loose lips and not in the chatterbox kind of way. His big moment was only mildly upstaged by Nick, who capitalized on the situation by jumping on the emotionally wounded Kaitlyn like she was an injured gazelle and he was a starving lion. Nick was only too happy to reassure her that he was okay with her being somewhat vapid.
Kaitlyn and Nick's One-on-One Date
Ian's tantrum was a tasty appetizer, but the main course was Kaitlyn's decision to go all the way with Nick. I'm not going to fault the girl for tasting the beef before buying the bull. And judging from the sounds coming...

Things just got really real on "The Bachelorette"! This week, the ABC series picked up from last week's cliffhanger with Ian telling off Kaitlyn Bristowe and leaving the show for good. Nick Viall came to the brunette beauty's rescue after the awkward incident and Josh was sent home after trying to tell Bristowe the group's real feelings about bringing Nick into the house. The remaining guys, Jared, Chris, Jj, Joe, Ben Z., Tanner and Shawn, also learned that they were all going to spend some time out of the country -- in Dublin, Ireland! Once the group arrived, Kaitlyn asked Nick to go on his first one-on-one date with her. The pair took a romantic stroll through the park, which was full of hand-holding, "intense" moments and saw Bristowe freak out because she's afraid of birds. The duo then showed off their Riverdance moves and Nick even gifted Kaitlyn with...

We start this week of The Bachelorette exactly where we left off. This whole situation is tiring. Obviously, Ian wanted Kaitlyn to get on her knees and beg, but he forgot where he was. This is not the show where you make women beg for your affection and trip over themselves. That show is called Big Love, and it’s been off the air for four years.Ian doesn’t understand human nature or people or feelings. He keeps asking Kaitlyn if she really wants someone with a sense of humor. Yeah, dude. Most people want a partner with a sense of humor. Most relationships don’t consist of two people staring at each other reading their résumés and mutually masturbating. Most relationships don’t consist of two people wearing black turtlenecks and listening to jazz talking about their intellectual side and how shallow the plebes are … and mutually masturbating.

Given the core premise of the The Bachelorette, the amount of suitors who have felt plainly entitled to Kaitlyn Bristowe's affections is pretty shocking.
Last week, Ian tore into Kaitlyn for being a "shallow," "surface-level" person while practically waving his Princeton degree above his head like a flag as a replacement for any real character traits other than "deep." It was obvious that he just felt stung over the fact that Kaitlyn didn't feel as strongly for him as the rest of her suitors, and he reacted by puffing out his chest, insulting her under the guise of "honesty...

There seems to be no shortage of "villains" on The Bachelorette season 11. First there was Ryan M., who was eliminated by host Chris Harrison for his rude and drunken behavior in the season premiere, then there's Kupah, who had a huge meltdown after Kaitlyn Bristowe sent him home before the rose ceremony. What is actually up with the Bachelorette contestants this season?
With each passing episode, a new suitor completely self-destructs. After Ryan M., Kupah and Tony, Monday's episode had former front-runner Ian going completely off the rails over a bruised ego. He also slut-shamed Kaitlyn while going on about all the sex he has and how he's such a great catch. Oh, and he thinks he'd make a great Bachelor. More on that nonsense below.
Also, Joshua had his own Britt Nilsson-style meltdown over Nick's entry into the competition, but he wasn't the only one unimpressed with the newest arrival.

Kaitlyn will take: Nick, Jj, Joshua, Jared, Joe, Ben Z., Ian, Justin, Tanner, and Chris on a group date to perform songs in mariachi outfits. Kaitlyn is going to take Shawn Booth on a 1 on 1 date. And you thought that having 25 men vote for either Britt Nilsson or Kaitlyn Bristowe as their next Bachelorette would be the most uncomfortable thing to watch, as a woman, on this season of The Bachelorette. Naïve.
This week, eight of Kaitlyn's suitors took to a boxing ring to fight one another and posture manfully, and Ben Z. ended up sending Jared to the hospital while Kupah appeared more enamored of meeting Laila Ali than interacting with Kaitlyn.
Later, Kupah accused Kaitlyn of only keeping him around as part of a "quota," and then he completely ignored her boundaries when she asked him to leave.

While most of the attention was focused on the admittedly "awkward" (and frustratingly unresolved) competition between Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson on Monday's season 11 premiere of The Bachelorette, let's not forget that there were 25 handsome men at the mansion, too.
As usual, some guys pulled out the stops, including a cupcake-mobile (more on that in a minute), a "car pool" and hand-drawing; others floundered in introducing themselves to both Bachelorette hopefuls – we're looking at you, canned-statement-peddling "healer" Tony and sloppy, feel-copping Ryan M. But this isn't a talent competition, it's a journey to love.

Now that "Mad Men" is over, "The Bachelorette" is ready to take its place as the best show on television. And by best we clearly mean most shamelessly Iq-reducing. But we're not here to judge, we're here to be the jury and pass stiff sentences against the clowns (that means you, Ryan M.) who showed up on Season 11's premiere to try and date Kaitlyn Bristowe, Britt Nilsson or whoever else showed up. The official Bachelorette -- either Kaitlyn or Britt -- will be revealed Tuesday night in another hour special, but here are 13 highlights/lowlights from May 18's drunken, *dramatic,* and painfully awkward first episode.
