Upon its debut, ‘Eternals’ signaled a shift in the MCU’s direction. Despite the film facing mixed reviews and box office challenges, it was often praised for its ambition, though criticized for introducing elements that weren’t further explored. While some viewers found it refreshing, blending cosmic and mythological themes, others felt it fell short. Despite the uncertainties, there are rumors from a reliable source, Daniel Richtman, suggesting that an ‘Eternals’ sequel is in the early stages of development.

Upon its release, ‘Eternals’ marked the change of direction in the MCU, and despite the movie receiving mixed reviews and bombing at the box office, it was often described as ambitious and sometimes incoherent due to many elements introduced, which were subsequently never used again.
Some viewers considered the movie a breath of fresh air and appreciated the themes that mixed cosmic themes with mythologies, but some felt that the movie didn’t quite hit the mark. Still, it seems that ‘Eternals’ was ambitious enough to warrant itself a sequel. Nothing has been confirmed so far, but a source of reliable scoops and leaks, Daniel Richtman, claimed that the sequel to the movie is in early development.

Complete and utter isolation can break the strongest of human minds, especially when coupled with the feeling of being boxed in without the choice to freely leave. One does not have to be secluded on their own to experience debilitating cabin fever, as the presence of others can breed feelings of paranoia and distrust, making the phenomenon highly contagious. At first, this appears to be the crux of "The Lodge," in which Grace (Riley Keough) and two children find themselves trapped in a wintry cabin in the middle of nowhere, with every basic necessity inexplicably vanishing into thin air. As they experience strange and unsettling events over time, psychosis sets in, intensifying the sense of derealization that permeates throughout the film. Just when things teeter over the edge, unsavory revelations undercut the very sense of reality (or unreality) that the film builds itself on.

Kumail Nanjiani is talking about the potential sequel to Eternals, the Marvel film directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao.
During an appearance in a podcast, Nanjiani was asked about the superhero movie after his co-star Patton Oswalt hinted that a sequel was in the works.
“I have no idea,” Nanjiani said on the Bingeworthy podcast by The Playlist. “I don’t think Patton was right. I think that there was a hoax website – one of those where it’s like one letter off from the real one. They tweeted it, and it spread around and I think that’s what Patton saw. I honestly don’t know anything. I would love for Kingo to come back. I love playing that character. That one’s very fun to play, you’re just in a good mood. Disney/Marvel’s Eternals is landing on Disney+ 69 days after its Nov. 5 theatrical release that date being January 12, 2022.
That window is a notable size considering Disney’s experiment to crush theatrical down to a day-and-date model with Disney+ during the pandemic. Previously, Disney/Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings had a 71-day window before landing on Disney+. Disney previously rubbed Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson the wrong way in the aftermath of that film’s short-change at the B.O. given its simultaneous availability on Disney+; the actress suing the studio and ultimately reaching an amicable settlement.
The movie, directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s further extension of its latest phase multiverse plot, however, in its Byzantine plotting fell short to wow fans who gave it the worst CinemaScore for a Disney/MCU title that being a B.

Marvel Studios today released a poster for the Harry Styles “Starfox” character from the new Eternals film. It’s the first officially sanctioned piece about his casting, which was one of the big surprises in the movie.
Styles briefly stepped into the MCU in the first of two bonus scenes that air after the credits.
The bonus post-credit scene shows Eros and Pip the Troll (voiced by Patton Oswalt) appearing before Thena (Angelina Jolie), Druig (Barry Keoghan), and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff), who are left confused and need assistance after Arishem the Judge (David Kaye) takes Sersi (Gemma Chan), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), and Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) to reckon for their actions.

Marvel Studios' live-action "Eternals" feature, based on the Marvel Comics title, directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, starring Angelina Jolie, is being banned in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, because one of the film's superheroes 'Phastos' is openly gay in the film:
"...for millions of years, one hundred 'Eternals' have roamed the Earth, as the secret protectors of humanity.
"Without them, we'd be smears between the teeth of the demon-like 'Deviants'.

Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao directs the latest Marvel superhero adventure, Eternals, which attempts to make a few subtle-but-important shifts in the MCU. As such, it’s largely successful, though the standard Marvel formula is nigh-on indomitable and remains firmly in place.
Based on characters and concepts created by Jack Kirby in 1974, Eternals posits that alien beings called Celestials created a race of immortal, super-powered humanoids called Eternals and sent them to Earth 7,000 years ago, in order to protect humanity from invading alien monsters known as Deviants. The Eternals extinguished the last of the Deviants some 500 years ago, so it’s understandably concerning when one of them attacks Sersi (Gemma Chan) in present-day London.

Chicago – At some point, everything evolves. This isn’t something that’s exclusive to Pokemon, but a process that all of us have undergone to get to where we are. Evolution is always gradual, only made noticeable to us in retrospect. Are you exactly the same person that you were 10 years ago? Hopefully not.
There will come a point when we look back at Eternals with much more generous eyes and realize that not only is this a good film, but a necessary one.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains details from Disney/Marvel’s Eternals.
Eternals director Chloé Zhao never considered casting anyone other than Harry Styles to portray Thanos’ brother Eros in a bonus scene from the Disney/Marvel film, which hit U.S. theaters on Thursday. All she needed to make that dream a reality was for Marvel boss Kevin Feige and the musician-actor to agree.
Styles steps into the MCU as the superhero Starfox in the first of two bonus scenes that air after the credits.
The bonus post-credit scene shows Eros and Pip the Troll (voiced by Patton Oswald) appear before Thena (Angelina Jolie), Druig (Barry Keoghan), and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) who are left confused and needing assistance after Arishem the Judge (David Kaye) takes Sersi (Gemma Chan), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), and Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) to reckon for their actions.

It's tough being the youngest one in the family. Even more so, it's tough being the youngest-looking for thousands and thousands of years, while the rest of your immortal, god-like compatriots get to blend into humanity as full-grown adults. But apart from playing the eternally youthful Sprite in Marvel's "Eternals," 14-year-old Lia McHugh had the opposite of a tough time on a set that included bonafide movie stars like Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek.

“It’s one of the great honors of our lives to tell a story like this, there is a lot of us in this movie,” Eternals co-screenwriter Kaz Firpo says of the Chloé Zhao-directed film set to open Friday.
“It’s the most challenging Marvel movie and it’s an honor to make something that feels different,” the filmmaker added on today’s Hero Nation podcast about the film he penned with his cousin Ryan Firpo, Marvel vet Patrick Burleigh, and Zhao.
With talk of ideas for the potential sequel, the Eternals who were cut and more, listen here:

Updated: “Eternals,” the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has received the lowest rating of all Marvel films from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, sinking into “rotten” territory with 59% positive reviews. “Eternals” is currently rated several points lower than the previously lowest-rated Marvel film 2013’s “Thor: Dark World,” which sits at a 66% rating.
“Eternals,” which premieres Nov. 5, hasn’t yet been reviewed by every outlet, a factor that could significantly change the ratings when dozens more reviews are added to the average. However, as the ratings stand, “Eternals” has left critics divided.
The Rotten Tomatoes critics consensus reads, “An ambitious superhero epic that soars slightly more often than it strains, ‘Eternals’ takes the MCU in intriguing – an occasionally confounding – new directions.”
Directed by Chloe Zhao, “Eternals” chronicles a race of immortal beings, the titular Eternals, who have secretly lived on earth for thousands of years. Created by entities called Celestials,...
