- From Detroit Mi, Actor Tony J. (True Lies, The Equalizer, Will Trent) a Veteran US Army Ranger and Ranger school instructor, served eight years as a non commissioned officer. Inducted into The Airborne Ranger Training Brigade Hall Of Fame (2022). His mother, Mary, is from Liverpool England. His Grandfather is from Sierra Leone and served in the British Navy. Tony studied acting in high school in Detroit and then later in Palo Alto Ca. After ending time served in the US Army, high on the E7/SFC list, he moved to Atlanta Ga and returned to studying acting with The Company Acting Studio and Drama Inc while attending GSU, earning a BA in Religious Studies, and operating his own ballroom dance studio for 20 years, becoming an award winning ballroom dancer and trainer. - Tony J. Scott served as a US Army Ranger with the 1/75 and 3/75 Ranger Battalions and took part in the rescue mission "Urgent Fury", Grenada in Oct 1983. He graduated airborne school and graduated Ranger School class 10-83. As a Staff Sergeant high on the E-7 list Tony finished his enlistment serving as an instructor for the US Department of the Army Ranger School.
