Twilight star Kristen Stewart is set to return to the world of vampires - but something tells us these bloodsuckers won't be of the sparkly variety!
Fans have been waiting for news on Panos Cosmatos' next project since 2018's surreal masterpiece, Mandy, and the filmmaker has enlisted a couple of A-list stars for what sounds like an intriguing horror thriller.
THR reports that Stewart and Oscar Isaac have signed on to play the leads in Flesh of the Gods, a vampire movie set in Los Angeles "during the glittering 1980s."
The story is said to follow "a married couple, Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric nighttime realm of ’80s LA. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic woman and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.

Flesh Of The Gods, a 1980s LA-set vampire thriller will be directed by Mandy director, Panos Cosmatos – and will star Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac.
Strap yourselves in. Twilight star Kristen Stewart is heading back to the world of vampires – and she’s set to be joined by no less than Oscar Isaac. The duo are uniting for what sounds like a deliciously strange project that stems from the mind of Panos Cosmatos, the celebrated director of Mandy.
The film will be “set in Los Angeles during the 1980s, and the story follows a married couple, Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric nighttime realm of LA.”
Honestly, given the names involved here, we’d watch that film and not even miss the vampires. But it gets better. According to the synopsis over at The Hollywood Reporter, ‘when...

‘Suitable Flesh’ – Barbara Crampton and Heather Graham on Gender-Flipped Lovecraft Roles [Interview]
Director Joe Lynch’s (Wrong Turn 2, Mayhem, “Creepshow”) new movie Suitable Flesh, based on H.P. Lovecraft’s The Thing On The Doorstep, is set to unleash body-hopping madness in theaters and VOD on October 27, 2023.
Heather Graham and producer Barbara Crampton star in Suitable Flesh, executive produced by Brian Yuzna (Re-Animator). Dennis Paoli, the writer of Re-Animator and From Beyond, wrote the script.
Joe Lynch and the late Stuart Gordon’s frequent collaborators seamlessly insert Suitable Flesh into Gordon’s Lovecraftian universe (our review) but give it a slight twist in gender-flipping archetypical Lovecraft roles. Bloody Disgusting spoke with Joe Lynch, Heather Graham, and Barbara Crampton out of Tribeca earlier this year, before the SAG-AFTRA strike, where they discussed how Lynch came to direct Suitable Flesh and taking on these rare roles.
It was Barbara Crampton, a producer on Suitable Flesh, who reached out to Joe Lynch about helming the new feature.

Fox will utilize its NFL doubleheader on Sunday, January 7, to help launch the network’s latest animated comedy, “Grimsburg.” The show, starring Jon Hamm (who also executive produces), will air immediately following the second game in all time zones.
The scheduling strategy was set to be announced on Saturday at the New York Comic-Con, where Fox is holding panels for both “Grimsburg” and its most recent new animated comedy, the Dan Harmon-created “Krapopolis.” At the event, “Grimsburg” showrunner Chadd Gindin planned to discuss his new series and introduce an early screening of the show’s first episode.
Both “Grimsburg” and “Krapopolis” are produced by Bento Box and are wholly owned by Fox. “Grimsburg” has already been given a Season 2 renewal (while “Krapopolis” was picked up for three seasons so far).

Freshly announced this morning, Arrow Video is bringing the Hellraiser franchise to 4K Ultra HD with a brand new Hellraiser: Quartet of Torment Limited Edition 4K Uhd set.
The upcoming set features the following Hellraiser movies:
Hellraiser (1987) Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996)
The most exciting aspect of this release? Arrow’s Hellraiser: Quartet of Torment set features the newly uncovered Workprint Version of fourth installment Hellraiser: Bloodline!
This never-before-seen version of the 1996 sequel, directed by Kevin Yagher, “provides a fascinating insight into how it changed during post production.” The initial cut of the movie ran 110 minutes long, but the studio executives at Miramax demanded major changes that resulted in Yagher departing the project. The final cut ultimately ended up running 85 minutes long, and Yagher was so unhappy with the finished product that he took his name off the movie. That’s why Hellraiser: Bloodline is...

This article contains John Wick: Chapter 4 spoilers. The spoiler-free review is here.
They actually killed John Wick. The Baba Yaga. The Boogeyman. Death Made Flesh has now at last himself crossed over. Apparently. That’s certainly what we’re led to believe before the ending credits of Chad Stahelski‘s John Wick: Chapter 4 roll, with Keanu Reeves’ preternaturally bespoke, god tier assassin taking a bullet somewhere in the guts while dueling old frenemy Caine (Donnie Yen) for his freedom.
Admittedly, we don’t see someone stand over Wick’s body and confirm there’s no pulse. He just lies down, and then there is a gravestone. Make of that what you will, but for patrons who became misty-eyed over the loss of Jardani Jovonovich (he really did have a lot of nicknames!) and then left when the credits rolled, we have good news: While John may have finally been reunited...
