The final Chicago P.D. episode for Detective Hailey Upton debuts soon on NBC.
Actress Tracy Spiridakos has played Upton for many years, but her run ends with the Chicago P.D. season finale.
Hints about something going on with Upton have been dropped during many episodes this season, increasing the likelihood of something boiling over.
Having Upton exit so soon after the show lost Detective Jay Halstead (played by Jesse Lee Soffer) could be difficult for viewers.
Many fans and even people from the show have posted #SaveUpton on social media. And die-hard fans still post #UpStead as the relationship name for Upton and Halstead.
Those same fans hope Halstead makes a surprise appearance in Upton’s final episode to provide some closure.

The current season of Chicago P.D. has finished filming. While episodes are still left to debut on NBC, the cast and crew have gone home for the summer.
A Chicago P.D. wrap party took place to celebrate the completion of filming. It also gave people a chance to say goodbye to actress Tracy Spiridakos.
Tracy has played Detective Hailey Upton for years, but her final episodes will air this May. Many fans hope it means a return of Detective Jay Halstead (played by Jesse Lee Soffer) to provide some closure.
Jesse was photographed on the Chicago P.D. set recently, as he returned to direct a new episode. It led to rumors that he might step in front of the camera again.
Jesse also appeared at the Chicago P.D. wrap party, taking photos with cast members, crew workers, and fans.

Chicago P.D. introduced Office Dante Torres as a hard-nosed cop willing to do anything to get the job done.
Torres is from the streets and part of his identity is expressed in the tattoos adorning his body.
Some Chicago P.D. fans might not realize that actor Benjamin Levy Aguilar (he plays Torres) has no tattoos.
This means he has to sit through an extensive process to have the tattoos added to his body when Torres shows parts of his body on screen.
Shower scenes are particularly noteworthy because of the huge cross Torres has on his back. That cross has to be reapplied each time Torres exposes his back.
It’s a lot of work to get his character camera-ready, but Torres has been a great addition to Intelligence in recent seasons.

Star Jason Beghe (Hank Voight) also recently stated, “It’s not going to be the same” when Tracy leaves the show. He is 100 percent correct in his assessment that the show must now adapt.
Marina Squerciati also posted about getting as many Tracy hugs as possible. Marina continues to play Officer Kim Burgess – a character who has been with the show since the beginning.

Chicago P.D. is finally circling back to the Gloria Perez case.
This means Officer Dante Torres will be the member of Intelligence that the next new episode focuses on.
As Chicago P.D. fans have noticed, the show shifts between characters now, with singular episodes focusing on a character rather than the team.
This shift in presentation continues with a new episode called Somos Uno, where viewers learn what Torres (played by Benjamin Levy Aguilar) has been up to while undercover.
The Chicago P.D. cast introduced Yara Martinez as Gloria Perez earlier this season.
Perez became an informant for Torres as Intelligence worked to take down a drug ring. Things got messy at the end of that episode when Perez and Torres became intimate during the case.

So that was quite the experience.
It's not about the type of boat, but the motion in the ocean, and our boy Ocean was certainly getting those moves in by the end of Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 4.
Before we unpack Dante Torres tacking a stab, um, falling into, wait, partaking in a storyline that feels eerily reminiscent of not one but Two of his Intelligence mentors, can we just celebrate his return?
We haven't had the pleasure of Torres gracing our scenes since Chicago Pd season 10 Episode 21).
And he was Missed.
We dove into (you know what? Ahem) a Torres-centric with some fascinating elements that aligned quite well with this more personalized and intimate tone that the season delivers thus far with our primary characters.

The Chicago P.D. episode schedule has an upcoming break between new content.
After four new episodes to open Chicago P.D. Season 11, the show has a week off for fans.
Chicago Med and Chicago Fire will also take that week off as the shows continue filming new episodes.
Two Hollywood strikes delayed the current seasons of the One Chicago shows.
But NBC ensured that the Wednesday night lineup returned in January with brand-new episodes.
The bad news about the delays is that there are fewer episodes this time than in years past.

Chicago Fire is rolling on without Kelly Severide — but not without arson.
A new Chicago Fire episode promo hints that someone is intentionally setting fires in the city, but Severide isn’t there to investigate.
As a reminder, Severide left Chicago in the third episode of the season. He was asked to help on a big arson case that involved the death of a federal agent.
Stella Kidd (played by Miranda Rae Mayo) was hesitant about her husband leaving Chicago again, but she told him he should go after thinking about it.
This is similar to when actor Taylor Kinney (he plays Severide) took a leave of absence during Season 11. He didn’t return until the Season 12 premiere.
Severide should return to Firehouse 51 at some point because he wouldn’t miss the Matthew Casey wedding, would he?

Considering Officer Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) is part of Intelligence, of course he returns from some time away and gets thrown right into a complicated case on Chicago P.D. Aguilar has been absent from the first three episodes of Season 11, but he returns in “Escape,” airing February 7. Torres has been on furlough helping his mom, who “has had some health complications,” Aguilar tells TV Insider. “He became the man of the house when he was 14 years old, and there’s this dynamic between them that he just takes very seriously. So he had to put everything on pause to focus on that. And thankfully she’s doing better.” But as soon as he returns, he ends up going undercover in a tense and high-stakes drug trafficking case. “It’s one of those things that he knows he’s the right man for the job because of the way he grew up,...

Spoiler Alert: The following story reveals major plot points from tonight’s episode of Chicago P.D. titled, “Safe Harbour.”
Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) had her work cut out for her in tonight’s episode of NBC’s Chicago P.D. As the only Spanish speaker available to take on a case involving a murdered Venezuelan refugee, Burgess is all in but soon discovers a potential suspect is closer than she realizes.
Although the episode could’ve done a much better job in handling the controversial conversation around immigration—take a drink every time they use the word “illegal”—Burgess captivates in those moments where, instead of judging her fellow humanss, she goes into action while being sensitive to the plight of the refugees using humanity as her preferred weapon.
“Safe Harbour” opens with the slaying of a Venezuelan refugee who was shot to death in a drive-by shooting by an unknown assassin.

Jesse Lee Soffer has returned home to NBC’s Chicago P.D. but not as Jay Halstead. Instead, he’s making his debut as a director in tonight’s episode “Deadlocked.”
The actor announced in late August his 10-season run on the Dick Wolf drama would conclude, making his final appearance on October 5. News followed weeks later that he would reunite with the cast and crew in the director’s chair.
“Deadlocked” is the continuation of “The Ghost Inside Of You” which aired on February 15.
“This was the perfect episode for me to direct,” Soffer told Deadline during a recent interview. “I love this episode because it was like a throwback episode to old-school Pd with Voight [Jason Beghe] going off the rails, Man on Fire kind of stuff, vigilante stuff, and living in the gray area off the books. That’s the story we’ve been telling, especially the foil between Halstead and Voight,...

Jesse Lee Soffer isn’t leaving the Windy City just yet. The actor, who made his final appearance on “Chicago P.D.” earlier this month, will be returning to direct Episode 16, Variety can exclusively reveal. The episode will air in 2023.
Soffer starred in 189 episodes of NBC’s police procedural, portraying Det. Jay Halstead. In August, he confirmed that the 10th season would be his last, appearing in the first three episodes. The character was written off the show during the Oct. 3 episode, when Jay decided to resign from Intelligence, say goodbye to his wife (played by Tracy Spiridakos) and take an army job in Bolivia.
“It’s black and white, it’s good and bad, it’s right and wrong, and it’s no more of this,” Halstead told Upton during their emotional scene. “I need that. I need that back. I fly out today. It’s not forever, it’s eight months,...

Look, Grey’s Anatomy can’t keep going on forever, right? Well, Shonda Rhimes has nothing to worry about, because Saturday Night Live has just found the next great medical drama: “Hot Girl Hospital.”
It’s always a crapshoot letting non-actors host SNL, and this week’s host, Megan Thee Stallion, has very little on-screen acting experience (music videos aside, of course). She’s made a few one-off appearances on Good Girls, P-Valley, and She-Hulk — but can she carry an entire scene? Based on this sketch, the answer is a resounding yes!

We got our first Dante Torres-centric, and Chicago Pd Season 10 Episode 4 did not disappoint.
Benjamin Levy Aguilar continues to shine in this role, proving his star quality and talent at every turn. And Dante Torres has officially carved out his place in the Intelligence unit and the series.
His addition is one of the best decisions in years.
Many of us had our speculations, and I'm happy to report that Oceanwater is everything we could have ever wanted and better than we imagined.
In Jay's absence, Torres needed a mentor, and there is no better, more logical, and more compelling choice than Atwater.
They have similarities from what it's like as Brown/Black men, particularly serving as police, knowing the fraught history and experiences of Bipoc and law enforcement. They also know the specific struggle of trying to walk that line as a man of color and a police officer when more often than not,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chicago P.D. Season 10 Episode 4 “Donde Vives.”] Rookie officer Dante Torres’ (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) neighbors may not respect the badge, but his actions at the end of the latest Chicago P.D. episode should mean he and his mother don’t have to worry about moving immediately… hopefully. During Intelligence’s investigation into the murder of a woman Torres considered to be like a second mother, he crossed paths with a street dealer — who was then waiting for him when he got home after the case was wrapped. He warned Torres it was time to move, but the officer instead took off his jacket, badge, and gun and punched the dealer, repeatedly. Then, he walked away. Aguilar breaks down that ending and teases what’s next for Torres. I was thinking that Torres and his mom were going to have to move, but then Torres reacted like he did. So is it safe ...

Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from tonight’s episode of NBC’s Chicago P.D. titled “Dónde Vives.”
Up until tonight, the life experiences of Chicago P.D. newcomer Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) have remained a mystery. Following Jay Halstead’s (Jesse Lee Soffer) shocking and heartbreaking departure last week, a proper introduction to the man he was ready to take under his wing was exactly the way to go.
Just seconds into “Dónde Vives” (where you live), the mood is somber in the unit as their fearless leader Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) arrives and barely manages to give Torres a half-hearted nod.
But as they say, the show must go on and the team takes turns teaching Torres how things work around the office. Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) helps the newbie settle in by teaching him protocols but it’s hard to ignore Hailey Upton...

This week on NBC’s La Brea, happy (sometimes-awkward) reunions were in good supply, all as someone in the clearing was revealed to be keeping a very big, tall, shiny, glass-and-steel secret.
Watching the promo at the end of last week’s episode, I was a bit shocked to see 1) that Gavin would reunite with Eve so quickly, and 2) NBC go ahead and spoil that big moment. Surely someone else out there thought there’d be at least a week or two or near misses and such, as Gavin, Eve and Levi were held prisoner by the Exiles.

Chicago P.D. returned with an episode that showed how Hank Voight had gone into a dark hole after his informant, Anna, was killed at the end of last season.
Detective Hailey Upton was the one who shot Anna, leading to Voight feeling some residual anger about how everything had transpired.
Voight had begun to do one-man foot patrols through the neighborhood where the drug ring used to operate out of a bakery, as well as where Anna was killed.
While Voight was doing another round of the neighborhood, Intelligence was being honored across the city for their work on bringing down that drug ring. The rest of the team received medals from the P.D. brass and accolades for a job well done.

NBC’s Chicago P.D. premiered its 10th season on Wednesday night and the anticipation as to how Jesse Lee Soffer, who plays Detective Jay Halstead, will exit is all anyone can think about.

Chicago P.D. spoilers shed some light on the upcoming exit of Jay Halstead from the show.
By now, most Chicago P.D. fans likely know that star Jesse Lee Soffer has decided to leave the program.
For years, Soffer has starred as Detective Halstead, one of the key pieces of the Intelligence team.
That time is about to come to an end, though, which is a big reason why Benjamin Levy Aguilar was brought back to One Chicago.
The writers and producers of the show have done a great job at keeping the primary storylines for Season 10 under wraps, and that includes not revealing what will happen to Halstead.
A new interview has given a better look at what’s to come, possibly hinting that the Halstead exit is going to become one of those classic episodes.

It was recently announced that Benjamin Levy Aguilar is returning for more episodes of Chicago P.D., and he was one of several One Chicago actors who spoke to Today about Soffer’s exit.
“It’s been like art imitating life in a way, because Jesse and I became really good friends and he’s been like a mentor for me.
