Victor Hugo, she was educated in Paris in a bourgeois family and she learned English literature. She worked as a resistant for Pierre de Lescure, member of the Intelligence Service. Having fled Paris for security reasons, she was sent in October 1944 by
Pierre-Henri Teitgen, important leader of the Résistance to Switzerland where she gave lectures on the Résistance.
