Exclusive: Signature Entertainment has pre-bought UK & Irish rights to Damien Leone’s horror sequel Terrifier 3 from The Coven, having released the first two movies in the franchise.
David Howard Thornton and Lauren Lavera are set to reprise their roles as Art the Clown and Sienna, respectively, in the Christmas-themed horror movie which will hit North American theaters on October 25, 2024.
A statement this week from Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting revealed that villanous Art the Clown will “unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.” Filming is expected to get underway in January, 2024.
The threequel is produced by Phil Falcone (Terrifier franchise) and is directed and written by Damien Leone (Terrifier franchise). As we revealed earlier this year, the film is understood to be getting a budget in the low-mid seven figure range, a significant increase on that of the sequel.

Almost exactly one year ago, Bloody Disgusting started our reign of blood with Screambox, our very own streaming platform that’s now jam-packed with a unique blend of kickass horror films. The most notable is Terrifier 2, which challenged the theatrical model and changed the game for independent horror cinema last Halloween season.
I will never forget the first time I watched Terrifier 2, creator/director Damien Leone‘s slasher epic that continued Art the Clown’s bloody rampage from the original Terrifier movie. I sat in silence for several minutes just trying to absorb what I had witnessed. I was in shock and absolutely certain I had just experienced something truly special.
What was so exciting about Terrifier 2 was how defiant and unapologetic it felt. It had a punk rock vibe all the way through. In a time where everyone feels like they’re walking on eggshells, team...

Huge news out of the Cannes market with the next Terrifier officially being announced by The Coven, which is once again teaming up with the franchise’s filmmakers to handle worldwide sales on Terrifier 3. Deadline first reported the news this afternoon.
Director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone will return to oversee the continuation of the franchise. Deadline notes, “Plot is being kept under wraps but David Howard Thornton (Art The Clown) and Lauren Lavera (Sienna) are among cast expected to return.”
“Filming is expected to get underway in November or December of this year for release in late 2024.”
“Terrifier 3 will be another boundary-pushing addition to the horror genre, continuing the no holds barred, uncompromising exploits fans of the franchise have come to expect and celebrate,” Damien Leone hypes.
“If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in Part 2 was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.”

Ventana Sur: To dub in English or not to dub and the challenges of day-and-date releasing were among the topics sales agents addressed in Buenos Aires on December 2.
