Three years after withdrawing from Juan Pablo Galavis‘ season of the Bachelor, Sharleen Joynt has tied the knot!
In proving that love post-Bachelor definitely does exist, the opera singer and season 18 star married her fiancé of a year and a half, Andy Levine, during a small ceremony in Manhattan’s Battery Gardens on September 8th.
The bride, with simple makeup, a chic netted veil and her hair pulled into an intricate updo, wore a classic, crisp white strappy dress with an open back by Martina Liana from Vow To Be Chic, while her groom wore a black tuxedo and a black bow tie to match.

Once a member of Bachelor Nation, always a member of Bachelor Nation. While Andi Dorfman may not have given Chris Soules the final rose on her season of The Bachelorette, the pair is proving to still be on friendly terms after all these years. On Sunday afternoon, the pair arrived at The Dubliner where they stayed for close to 90 minutes. "They were in a good mood, chatting, laughing and smiling," a source shared with E! News. "It was just the two of them. They sat across from each other." Before eyebrows begin to rise...

Two of our favorite Bachelorette babes are BFFs. Can you say squad goals?! Apologies to any fans of The Bachelorette hoping for some drama to go down between current Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and her predecessor Andi Dorfman, thanks to their respective relationships with polarizing contestant Nick Viall, but there's nothing but love between these ladies and it's kind of the best thing ever. "If this is supposed to be awkward then we sure didn't get the memo," Andi captioned a cute pif of her, Kaitlyn and Sharleen Joynt, a contestant from her season of The Bachelor, starring Juan Pablo Galavis, hanging out in New York City on June 24. Juan Pablo’s time as The Bachelor has finally come to a close, and despite the season’s weird and fairly unsatisfactory ending, it actually provided us with a few solid Bachelorette options. Andi Dorfman, who was the second runner-up in Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor, has been tapped by ABC producers to star in the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.
Andi Dorfman Is Next Bachelorette
Dorfman, 26, was an early favorite with both Galavis and viewers on The Bachelor. The Atlanta-based assistant district attorney managed to stay out of much of the drama and appeared to be a bit more down to Earth than many of her competitors in the race for Galavis’ final rose.
To Galavis’ surprise, his time in the Fantasy Suite with Dorfman didn’t go too well. In fact, it allowed Dorfman to realize that this wasn’t the man for her. After letting Galavis know he can be rude, insensitive, seem completely uninterested and unavailable – and overuses “It’s okay” – she decided to leave the show of her own accord.

The Bachelor’s season finale on Monday opened with a “previously on…” introduction that gave star Juan Pablo Galavis a heavy-handed villain edit, as well as pro-next-Bachelorette edit for Andi Dorfman, who broke up with him last week.

As befits one of the crappiest installments in the 18-season run of "The Bachelor," we got a finale which was amazingly unromantic, endlessly frustrating and chock full of moments that made most of us want to throw something at Juan Pablo. When our host Chris Harrison actually comes right out and says there's going to be a run on televisions next week because so many viewers probably threw stuff at theirs because of this show, you know it's not just you. No, Juan Pablo may make his mark as being the most unappealing Bachelor ever, and if you didn't feel that way before the finale, you probably did afterward. The first big, red flag was when Clare and Nikki met Juan Pablo's family. Usually this is a chance for the ladies to convince the Bachelor's loved ones that each is worthy of his love. As part of "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" special on ABC Monday (March 10), it was announced that Andi Dorfman is the next "Bachelorette." Just what do we know about this girl?
She's a 26-year-old assistant district attorney from Atlanta, though she said on "The Bachelor" that she doesn't like to read, which is kind of funny.
Andi also quit Juan Pablo's "Bachelor" season after the fantasy suite date, when she realizes that Juan Pablo didn't really know anything about her and only wanted to talk about himself. Interestingly, she then got upset that Juan Pablo wasn't more upset that she wanted to quit, which is where Andi kind of lost us. We were hoping Sharleen would be the next "Bachelorette."
But it's going to be Andi. Her season starts taping later this week in Los Angeles and then it will debut presumably in late May, if it follows the normal pattern.

"The Bachelor's" annual "Women Tell All" special was a bit of a departure from the norm, with the women having way more issues with the actual bachelor, Juan Pablo, than with each other. Host Chris Harrison blogs for EW that he thinks the women who got sent home earlier in the show were particularly upset with how Juan Pablo seemed to treat the process.
On the women:
"It's only natural that the girls who were sent home earlier felt a bit slighted and felt like maybe Juan Pablo didn't really care about them. But the women who went much further, like Sharleen, Renee, and even Andi weren't very negative at all and ended up defending him a bit. Juan Pablo and the women are on the hot seat this time, as 25 spurned suitors and quitters open up about their experiences searching for hot, barely bilingual love on reality television.

Still, Sharleen is coming in looking a bit classier, while Andi gets another chance to double down on the ridiculousness that was her overnight date outrage.

Andi Dorfman, who was shown breaking up with current The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis on Monday’s episode, is rumored to be the next woman to star on sister show, The Bachelorette.
Andi The Next Bachelorette?
The casting for The Bachelorette was first revealed by Bachelor/ Bachelorette spoiler source Reality Steve. “Just like the rest of this season’s spoilers, this one is right. Hell, I even told you this was gonna be Andi’s gig when I gave you the spoilers back on November 20th, so this should come as a surprise to no one,” he wrote. “It also keeps the show’s record intact of every “Bachelorette” they’ve had finished in the top 4 of their respective season.”
Multiple sources have reportedly seconded Reality Steve’s assertions to E! News. Although the insiders claim that ABC producers have been leaning towards Andi, they hesitated to say that her casting is official.

On The Bachelor this week, Juan Pablo Galavis headed to the hometowns of the four remaining women, and told Renee that it was the end of the road on their journey to love.
Nikki Ferrell's Date
The first town on Juan Pablo’s itinerary was Kansas City, Mo., to meet frontrunner Nikki Ferrell’s family. Before he was introduced to the group, Juan Pablo ate some ribs at Oklahoma Joe’s Bar-b-Que and went for a ride on a mechanical bull. Despite Juan Pablo’s mediocre bull-riding skills, Nikki claims that she’s helplessly in love with the Venezuelan former soccer player.
At the Ferrell family gathering, Juan Pablo gets a pretty tame interrogation from Nikki’s father. At his most protective, he tells the Bachelor, "I would prefer that if you're heart isn't there, [you] not ask her to marry you." Meanwhile, Nikki gushes to whomever will listen that...

This week, The Bachelor fans can expect double the episodes and more than double the drama, according to host Chris Harrison, who spoke with People Wednesday. Juan Pablo met the families of the four remaining ladies on Monday night's hometown dates edition. Then on Tuesday, the final three travel to St. Lucia for the exotic overnight dates. Harrison wouldn't describe either experience as "smooth sailing" for our lover with a language barrier. How does this season compare to others in terms of the final weeks? The last three weeks were as difficult as we've ever had on this show. Maybe the most difficult.

Next week the ladies get to bring home Juan Pablo, but he decided he was already ready for Nikki to meet his daughter. However, wouldn’t it have been smarter to wait and introduce the woman he chooses, instead of just one of the four women he’s been kissing?
While the big news on the Feb. 17 episode of The Bachelor was that Sharleen headed home, the more shocking part of the show was that Juan Pablo Galavis decided that he wanted to introduce Nikki Ferrell to his daughter . . . and his ex. A little soon for that, don’t you think?
Juan Pablo, Nikki Shouldn’t Have Met Camila Yet
Juan Pablo brought Nikki on quite the date — with this entire family. However, as a single parent you would think he would wait until the woman he was with was a serious girlfriend before introducing her to his 7-year-old daughter,...

Elizabeth Wurtzel’s The Bachelor Recap: Better Things to Do All is fair in love and war. Which really means: nothing is fair at all. By Elizabeth Wurtzel It’s time for another episode of The Bachelor, America’s pre-eminent reality show for romantic group dates, high-profile rejections, crying pharmaceutical saleswomen, and rendering the phrase “true love” utterly meaningless through ceaseless repetition. This season, we have asked Elizabeth Wurtzel, author of Prozac Nation and Bitch, to confront our favorite national circus nightmare. Join Elizabeth each Tuesday for all of her opinions on the squabbling and hot-tubbing that’s fit to air on ABC. All is fair in love and war. Which really means: nothing is fair at all. Or as Snoops said on The Wire, after killing at least twenty-two people for no reason: Deserve got nothing to do with it. This week on The Bachelor, Sharleen denied reality [...]...

The Bachelor, on location in Juan Pablo Galavis’ home city of Miami this week, saw the playing field narrowed down to four – and another glimpse into the Bachelor’s life outside the show.
The Bachelor Recap
Before meeting up with the six remaining women, Juan Pablo pays a visit to his daughter Camila. While catching up with a few family members, he intimates to a cousin that Sharleen might be the one, using the same three adjectives he describes her with daily – elegant, classy and sexy. Meanwhile, Sharleen, who’s been telling the girls she’s not so sure if she’d be up for introducing him to her family should she get a rose this week, learns she’s received the first one-on-one.
On the date, Juan Pablo and Sharleen float about on the deck of a boat, making out more than taking. She admits to Team Bachelor that she finds Juan Pablo attractive,...

It was the exit everyone was waiting for since the season premiere. From the first episode of The Bachelor's 18th season, it was clear that Sharleen, an opera singer who returned from Germany to find true love, wasn't sure she had a real connection with Juan Pablo Galavis. Oblivious to her plight? Juan Pablo. Alas, Juan Pabs finally took off his rose colored glasses on the Monday, Feb. 17 episode of the reality hit. Actually, it's more accurate to say Sharleen ripped the glasses off of him, finally deciding to tell him how she truly felt. Sorry dude, she's just not that into you. Least Shocking Moment: The only truly shocking thing about Sharleen eliminating herself?...

She’s just not that into you, Juan Pablo. When Jp took the girls back to his hometown of Miami, one revealed that she was totally not jaunting him anymore.
While most of the women on The Bachelor are the ones getting their hearts broken, Juan Pablo Galavis was the one left in the dust on the Feb. 17 episode. He not only introduced one lucky gal to his daughter and his parents, but even to his ex. While she was thrilled to meet his family, not all the girls were so happy — and that led to a pretty entertaining cat fight.
Juan Pablo Brings Ladies To His Hometown
Juan Pab and the crew hit up Miami, Fl. for a romantic beach vaca and the girls were ready to get down. He told his family how much he was obsessed with Sharleen, so it was no surprise she landed the first date.

While I completely understand why so many people hated Sharleen, I have to admit I had a soft spot for her. Even though she seemed unduly tortured by the prospect of having a fling with a hot guy on national television (pfft, Sharleen, hardly anyone gets married after "The Bachelor"), I had to admire her ability to keep a clear head in the face of mental manipulation and her own primal instinct to fight for what appear to be limited resources (as in, Juan Pablo). She was attracted to him. She couldn't stop kissing him. But in the end, she knew...

After weeks of being conflicted over Juan Pablo, Sharleen decided it was finally time to leave The Bachelor.
Ever since she hesitated over receiving the first impression rose, viewers have watched the opera singer vacillate between knowing Juan Pablo is not the guy for her and giving in to her attraction to the single dad. Ultimately, it was the prospect of bringing Juan Pablo home to meet her folks that made Sharleen pack up once and for all.

Yes, we're down to our last six suitors on Juan Pablo's season of The Bachelor, and after brief stops in exotic locations like South Korea, Vietnam and New Zealand, Jp and Co. are headed to the faraway fantasy land of ... Miami, aka where Juan Pablo lives. (Are Camila and the 'rents still in Los Angeles?) Does he have a business meeting or something?
Even as we get down to the nitty gritty and the hometown dates near, this episode is about two things and two things only. Will Sharleen pull a Brooks and bail early, even when it's clear she'll get a rose no matter how hard she tries not to? And will Clare and Nikki end up involved in some sort of physical altercation?...
