[Spoiler Alert: This interview includes details about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth]
The highly anticipated action-adventure RPG Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has finally been unleashed into the Chocobo wilds.
Rebirth, the second game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy that serves as a three-part reimagining of the original 1997 game, follows everyone’s favorite ragtag eco-terrorists Cloud (Cody Christian), Barret (John Eric Bentley), Tifa (Britt Baron), Aerith (Briana White) and Red Xiii (Max Mittelman) as they make the perilous journey to The Forgotten Capital in hopes to stop the legendary solider and deranged superhuman Sephiroth from plunging the planet into chaos.
Bringing the Final Fantasy VII Remake project to fruition was no easy feat as developers had to tackle maintaining a balance between the beloved story that has permeated video game pop culture for nearly three decades and creating new experiences for a new generation of fans while expanding on the original material for diehards. Much like its predecessor, the scope of...

Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to “Daddy,” a sci-fi film that will be released in 2024.
The news comes as Anchor Bay is being relaunched after Umbrelic Entertainment chiefs Thomas Zambeck and Brian Katz bought the company’s trademark. Anchor Bay was included in Starz’s 2016 sale to Lionsgate. Under Zambeck and Katz, Anchor Bay is looking to release genre films and cult favorites.
In the case of “Daddy,” the movie was co-written and co-directed by Neal Kelley and Jono Sherman in their feature debut. It stars Yuriy Sardarov (“Chicago Fire”), Jacqueline Toboni (“The L Word: Generation Q”), Pomme Koch (“WeCrashed“) and Britt Baron (“Glow”).
The film is set in a dystopian society where the state has the power to determine who can and cannot father children. Four men attend a government-mandated retreat in the remote mountains of California. When they arrive, there’s no guide or instructions waiting for them.

Valentine's Day means different things to different people. For some, it's a joyous celebration of the people in their lives. For others, it's a painful reminder of loves lost and broken hearts. Then, for the rest of us, it's a springboard for silly slashers about lovesick killers. Second only to Christmas, Valentine's Day might well be the most popular holiday in slasher flicks. The innate tension between treacly intimacy and gonzo gore is too good an opportunity to pass up, and for time immemorial, creatives have merged both love and fear in increasingly twisted ways.
Some recent editions to the horror canon, like "Bones and All" and "Spring," while not strictly speaking Valentine's Day-themed, are deeply romantic, reminding audiences of how perfectly the two disparate emotions can coalesce into something amazing. Here, we'll be looking at horror movies specifically about the most romantic day of the year. From old school slashers to creepy,...

From the pilot episode to the recent series finale, Judith Grimes has been a handy bellwether for how much time has passed in "The Walking Dead." She started out as just an embryo, the result of a dalliance between Lori Grimes and Shane Walsh. Judith was finally born in a rather traumatic episode of "The Walking Dead" season 3, and steadily grew into a toddler over the next few seasons. A six-year time jump in the middle of season 9 boosted her to nine years old, and by the time the show signed off with season 11's "Rest in Peace," Judith is approximately 11 or 12 years old.
She also has a little brother, Rick Grimes Jr. (aka Rj), the result of Rick Grimes Sr. and Michonne coupling up. As of the end of the series, however, Rick Sr. still has no idea that he has a son, since he was blown off a...

Not too long ago, “Netflix will greenlight anything” was a strong enough meme that it was featured as a joke on actual Netflix shows like Lady Dynamite and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Now that meme is in danger of becoming “Netflix will cancel anything.”
The streaming giant today announced that it has canceled its two remaining Jenji Kohan-produced shows: Glow and Teenage Bounty Hunters, according to Deadline. The latter’s cancellation comes after just one season and the former’s cancellation arrives despite the show previously being confirmed for a fourth and final season.
In the case of Glow, the cancellation comes due to the coronavirus-related shutdowns and the difficulty of producing a highly physical show based on professional wrestling.

“Glow” will not proceed with Season 4 at Netflix as planned, Variety has confirmed.
The Emmy-nominated Netflix comedy series about a troupe of female professional wrestlers had originally been renewed for a fourth and final season, but plans for that season have now been scrapped due to production delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We’ve made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of ‘Glow’ due to Covid, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement. “We are so grateful to creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, Jenji Kohan and all the writers, cast and crew for sharing this story about the incredible women of ‘Glow’ with us and the world.”
The show had been renewed for its last season last year. Production had begun on Season 4 earlier this year but was shut down early on due to the pandemic.

First things first: You would have to be one seriously hardhearted bastard not to love The Thing About Harry, Freeform’s belated gay Valentine (premiering Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8/7c). Its leads — Grey’s Anatomy’s Schmitt, Jake Borelli, and newcomer Niko Terho — have chemistry for days. The script, co-written by director and co-star Peter Paige (Good Trouble), goes down as easily as a box of chocolates. Rare is the bestie/wingwoman who’s as appealing as Britt Baron (Glow). And the movie’s “Will they or won’t they?” moments are way more loaded than they have any right to be.

The latest installment of Blumhouse Television's horror anthology series, Into the Dark, has us seeing red. The upcoming Valentine's Day installment, titled "My Valentine," takes a note from some of the biggest pop scandals over the past decade, and Popsugar has an exclusive first look. In the trailer, a singer named Valentine (Britt Baron) returns to the spotlight to find that her abusive ex-boyfriend and manager (Benedict Samuel) has stolen her music and artistic identity and re-created her entire persona with his new girlfriend, Trezzure (Anna Lore). After the three are locked in a small concert venue after hours, it doesn't take long for the knives to come out (literally) as they confront their past.
"'My Valentine' is an in-your-face, electric horror movie that tackles some hot button yet hugely personal topics," writer and director Maggie Levin said about the installment. "Growing up in the music and entertainment industry,...

Borelli will play Sam, a handsome, funny, neurotic, intelligent young gay man who combines a scathing wit with an overly idealistic worldview. Sam came out when he was still in high school, something that took a lot of courage in his small Missouri town, but was bullied constantly. Terho will portray Harry, an emotionally uncomplicated,...

Freeform on Monday greenlit its first-ever Valentine’s Day movie — and with no disrespect to Sally, this romantic comedy is all about Harry.
Titled The Thing About Harry, the gay-themed original film will center on high school enemies Sam (played by Grey’s Anatomy‘s Jake Borelli) and Harry (newcomer Niko Terho), who are forced to share a car ride to their Missouri hometown for a friend’s engagement party on Valentine’s Day. But when Sam learns Harry has come out, things take a turn, and the two men “begin to develop a deep friendship — with neither admitting a...

I’ve been a fan of Netflix’s Glow show since it first landed a couple of years ago on the platform. It’s a total joyous, wild, funny, gritty and dramatic program that ticks so many of the boxes I look for in my television drama. Oh, and it’s about pro-wrestling, something else I’m pretty damn fond of. So, I was of course clicking the play button the moment Season 3 landed on Netflix this August.
It’s one of those shows where you simply cannot just watch one episode. It’s as binge-worthy as they come, and the whole “just another episode” concept was in full motion when I sat down to watch the new season, and I finished it in two sittings. Season three retains the high quality storytelling that we’ve become accustomed to with the previous seasons, and yet it manages to up the grittiness,...

This post contains full spoilers for Glow Season Three, which Netflix released on Friday.
In the closing moments of Glow‘s third season, Britney Young’s Carmen announces plans to leave the show-within-the-show because, she says, “I want to wrestle, and I can’t do that here anymore.”
Carmen’s in a unique position among the Netflix dramedy’s main characters. Almost everyone else fell into wrestling by accident, or for lack of a better option, where Carmen grew up in the wrestling world and loves it for its own sake.

If you jump into Glow Season 3 without having watched the first two seasons, you might think Glow stands for the lights of the gleaming Las Vegas Strip.
Wrestling is more of an afterthought now that the ladies have reached new, dizzying heights headlining a Las Vegas revue.
The different locale impacts the series overall allowing for deeper character insight but at the cost of what makes Glow glow. The fun factor takes a hit.
To headline a Las Vegas show, you need a product that plays night after night. There isn't room for mistakes because even one error can end the production.
Like a Broadway play, the performers put on show after show and do the same, repetitive routines. That's what a Vegas show is all about.
Four Weddings and a Funeral Review: Serviceable, But Uninspired
Unfortunately for the series, the gorgeous ladies of wrestling are just like the other ladies on the strip.

Exclusive: James Andrew Felts’ Motion Picture Exchange (Mpx) has acquired worldwide sales rights to Aftermath, the Peter Winther-directed thriller that stars Ashley Greene and Shawn Ashmore. It is the first film from producers Peter and Lars Winther’s newly launched Winther Brothers Entertainment, and Rick Sasner of River Run Entertainment.
Principal photography is just getting underway. Winther developed the story with Dakota Gorman, who wrote the screenplay. The thriller centers on a young couple (Greene and Ashmore) struggling to stay together, when they are offered an amazing deal on a home with a questionable past that would normally be beyond their means. In a final attempt to start fresh as a couple they take the deal. However, soon after moving in, the couple falls prey to strange and disturbing occurrences, and eventually learn that the house has a more troubling history than either of them anticipated.

Last year Netflix’s “Glow” reaped eight Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series and Best Comedy Supporting Actress for Betty Gilpin, winning prizes for its production design and stunts. Yet stars Alison Brie and Marc Maron were nowhere to be found in the respective lead and supporting categories, despite bids at the Golden Globes (Brie) and SAG (Brie and Maron). With the second season garnering even better reviews than the first, voters should make up for their shocking snubs.

The 15th Annual Gold Derby TV Award winners were announced on Thursday, September 6, during a live webcast announcement (watch it above). These prizes were decided by hundreds of Gold Derby users who arguably know more about the television landscape than a lot of TV academy members. And they spread the wealth when picking this year’s recipients. “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” was the biggest winner with four awards, followed by “The Handmaid’s Tale” with three, but the top series prizes actually went to “Game of Thrones” and “Atlanta.”
“Versace” swept the longform categories, claiming Best Limited Series, Best Movie/Mini Actor (Darren Criss), Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actress (Judith Light) and Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actor (Cody Fern). The last two prizes in that field went to “USS Callister (Black Mirror)” (Best TV Movie) and “The Tale” (Best Movie/Mini Actress for Laura Dern).

Glow season 3, the Netflix ladies wrestling show, starring Allison Brie and Betty Gilpin, will be back on Netflix soon.
Call off the prayer circles! Glow Season 3 has been greenlit by Netflix. The Emmy-nominated series will be back for a Season 3. The announcement was made via the show's official Twitter handle, and the sigh of collective relief could be heard across America.
Glow Season 3 will arrive as another 10-episode frame, which will continue showcasing the world of 1980s syndicated women's professional wrestling, following fictionalized versions of the characters from the real-life wrestling circuit Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (Glow). Likewise, as teased at the end of last season, the third season will see said ladies make their historically-inspired migration from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, where the original series was taped, at the now-demolished Riviera Hotel and Casino (however Netflix still shot the show in L.A.

Netflix's glam wrestling series Glow is in a rather strange position right now. In just the last few months alone, the show has earned a handful of Emmy nods (including outstanding comedy series!) and pulled off a pretty spectacular second season. In spite of the fact that a third season seems like a given - plus, there's the fact that Glow was a part of Netflix's huge TCA press day - the show has not technically been renewed.
At the TCA day in question, which was held on July 29, vice president of original content Cindy Holland didn't even have a definitive answer for the fate of the series. Given the fact that Glow only just dropped new episodes on June 29, she said it shouldn't come as that much of a surprise. "We generally have some number of months after a season launches to start to evaluate the data and figure it out,...
