- Danish stuntwoman Anne Rasmussen is the first and arguably the most experienced of only a few professional stuntwomen in Denmark. She first began to study stunt, stage fight and acting in 1996 at The Theatre Academy in Copenhagen, and eventually went to Seattle, US, to become the first Dane ever to complete United Stuntmens' Associations Stunt School in 1998. Since then Anne Rasmussen has worked as a stuntwoman in film, television and theatre and has also done events/shows, music videos and commercials and has branched out to also do stunt coordination.
In 2008 she completed her master's degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Copenhagen, earning her the unique combination of theoretical knowledge in the field of theatre, TV and film and extensive practical experience as a stuntwoman in those very industries.
Anne Rasmussen got her professional start in the short film Hotel Pandemonium (2000) starring acting veterans Søren Spanning and Gyrd Løfquist (2000).
Anne Rasmussen has stunt doubled a virtual who's who of leading women in Danish theatre and film; from Trine Dyrholm to Kirsten Olesen, Ann Eleonora Jørgensen, Iben Hjejle, Vigga Bro, Signe Egholm Olsen, Sonja Richter and Alba August.
She has worked on film and TV-projects in Denmark and all over Europe, her stunt credits include Allegro (2005) and Offscreen (2006) (director Christoffer Boe, 2005 and 2006 respectively), The Bridge (2011) (TV 2, 2013 and 2015), Herrens veje (2017) (DR, 2018), The Rain (2018) (Netflix, 2018 and 2019), the award-winning film Queen of Queen of Hearts (2019) (stunt double for Trine Dyrholm, 2019), the TV-series The Sommerdahl Murders (2020) (TV 2 Charlie, 2020), the films Krudttønden (2020) (director Ole Christian Madsen, 2020) and A Perfectly Normal Family (2020) (director Malou Reymann, 2020), When the Dust Settles (2020) (DR, 2020) as well as work on the latest feature film Riders of Justice (2020) (2020) by the Oscar-winning writer and director Anders Thomas Jensen starring Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Roland Møller, Nicolas Bro and Mads Mikkelsen.
In recent years she has also worked as a fight choreographer in theatre. Among the productions are the large-scale production of "Skammerens Datter" (2012) at Østre Gasværk Teater and the critically acclaimed "Symposion" (2019) at The Royal Danish Theatre.
