La Brea’s final season is off on to a wild ride, in part to leading man Eoin Macken.
Macken’s acting credits are extensive, including Merlin, The Night Shift, a satiric film –Grey Elephant, and currently, La Brea, where he portrays Gavin Harris.
After La Brea finishes, Eoin will star in a new Roku series called Borderline, which he’s excited about because it touches on his Irish roots.
We always love chatting with Eoin, and we discussed many topics, including how Gavin’s new memories would affect the rescue mission, Gavin and Izzy’s evolving father-daughter relationship, and if fans would be pleased with the finale. He also teased his upcoming shows.
Check it out below:
Hi Eoin. The La Brea Season 3 premiere was a wild ride. What’s next for Gavin now that Josh disappeared through an aurora and Izzy is barely speaking to him?
He’s not in a great place.

Her death was announced by her son Jonathan Peverall. Parady died in Peverall’s hometown of Norfolk.

This article contains major Unwelcome spoilers.
British horror Unwelcome sees city couple Maya (Hannah-John Kamen) and Jamie (Douglas Booth) move to Ireland after a horrific home invasion leaves them shaken. But the new rural home isn’t the peaceful idyll they had hoped for, with a baby on the way. If the violent local family hired to do some building work weren’t enough, they also have murderous Redcaps to deal with. It’s a lot.
“It started originally from a conversation I had with Mark Stay, who wrote the film,” says director Jon Wright. “We were kind of almost making fun of each other, and making fun of ourselves really about what cowards we were, and how, if we were ever confronted with physical violence, how frightening we found it, and how useless we were at fighting. We were saying that being a pacifist is really a kind of...

Warning: this article contains Spoilers for Sas: Rogue Heroes
Sas: Rogue Heroes – a historical drama depicting the fascinating true story of how the famed Special Air Service was formed – is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The six-part series has been created by Peaky Blinders writer Steven Knight, and is based on the bestselling book of the same name by historian Ben Macintyre.
Tune in, and you’ll meet Paddy Mayne, one of the founding members of the Sas (played by Skins star Jack O’Connell), a rogue hero whose history is still mired in controversy.
Why? Because some consider him to be the bravest soldier in history never to be awarded the Victoria Cross – the highest military award for gallantry – and to this day, there’s an active campaign for it to be awarded posthumously.
A boxer, a Northern Ireland rugby star and reportedly an excellent shot, Robert Blair...

On NBC's family adventure and sinkhole drama, La Brea, Eoin Macken portrays the estranged husband of Eve (Natalie Zea).
In La Brea Season 2, Gavin, their daughter Izzy, and Ella have landed in prehistoric Seattle in search of their loved ones. It's their turn to deal with prehistoric creatures and the elements.
TV Fanatic chatted with Macken about his role as Gavin, upcoming Season 2 teasers, and the other films he's working on.
Hi Eoin. Your role as Gavin Harris seems different from some of your other roles. What appealed to you about playing Gavin on La Brea?
This is the first time I've played a part where I've portrayed a father, so that was different for me. And I thought being a character that's estranged from his wife and children because of the situation that he was in, having visions, and being an alcoholic was a fascinating starting point.

London, Sep 17 (Ians) England white-ball skipper Jos Buttler has said he received unanimous response from team-mates on bringing 33-year-old opening batter Alex Hales into the T20I squad, following the player failing a drugs test in 2019 and being left in cricket wilderness for three years owing to the misdemeanour.
Buttler, who is currently in Pakistan with the England T20I side, though he is unlikely to play in the first five matches of the seven-game series due to a calf injury, said he had spoken to several players in the side to ensure no one would have an issue with Hales’s presence in the side.
Hales has got a second opportunity after he failed a recreational drug tests just before the 2019 World Cup at home under then-skipper Eoin Morgan, and he is keen to make up for lost time under the new set-up of skipper Buttler and coach Matthew Mott.
