Nitin Tej Ahuja is an Indian film producer with a career that spans various functions and roles across the Media & Entertainment spectrum.
A working journalist while stil a student, his first full-time position was at Star TV where he headed Publicity for Star Sports channel. Stints at Phonographic Performance Limited and WorldSpace Satellite Radio followed, interspersed with screenwriting assignments for various television shows and documentaries.
In 2009, he founded Box Office India, India's premier film trade weekly, and oversaw the award-winning publication till it ceased printing in 2019. Simultaneously, he founded the Moving Pictures film production banner and produced various feature films including Saheb Biwi Gangster Returns, Bullett Raja and Revolver Rani (all in Hindi language); Zhapatlela 2-3D and Sara Lota (both in Marathi) and Kahaani (Telugu/Tamil bilingual).
In 2020, he was appointed CEO of the Producers Guild of India, the premier association of Indian film, television and digital content producers.
